The guesthouse is a traditional Balinese family compound, which adds an authentic touch to the experience. What struck me immediately was how friendly and helpful the hosts were. They were more than willing to share everything they had and assist with any needs. An absolute highlight of the property is its art gallery. I was astounded by the style and quality of pieces showcased. The gallery is a feast for the eyes and soul. But the gallery is only one part of the larger aesthetic experience. The guesthouse is situated on a quite large territory, and as you wander through, you discover a labyrinth of paths that take you through a gorgeous garden and ponds and teeming with local flora and fauna. To say there are "many more" features would be an understatement. I stayed in the most beautiful room at Santra Putra! the bathroom had lots of natural light and I had a gorgeous spacious terrace with nature views. they serve amazing breakfast (you choose from a menu of many options), and the people are super friendly and available to help. absolutely wonderful neighbourhood with tons of walking paths and people around. I felt at home here and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in Ubud with a perfect location close to many restaurants and cafés. It’s a very close walking distance to the center but very quiet with no cars in the street. The place is very artistic with a lovely family who really went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I will definitely return for my next Ubud stay!

The kindest family welcomed me to Ubud, real experiences and the most beautiful surroundings. Really well located, close to the centre but out of it enough so you can find your peace and own rhythm on the trip.

We had great stay at Santra Putra Guesthouse! It’s in the most perfect location and the staff are so lovely. The rooms are clean and our room in particular was huge with a big verandah/balcony, a kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The bed was really comfortable with soft clean linen. There was no aircon but as the room was well ventilated with a ceiling fan it was completely not needed. The kitchen was well equipped we cooked every day, there is also a large bottle of mineral water on tap for you. The gardens are beautiful and it was so peaceful on our verandah/balcony. I was able to work in peace. Would recommend to those heading to ubud, it was great value and location. I booked via WhatsApp, it was seamless and Komang is so fast at replying. He also was quick with delivering us a new big bottle of water when we ran out, organised us a driver same day to leave and has been nothing but kind to us. Thank you Komang and family, we will be back!

Santra Putra Guesthouse is a peaceful, green gem in the heart of Ubud. The hotel is family run and makes you feel part of a balinese family visiting. It has a lot of personality, charme and gives you space. I will be back!
