I was here in August 2020. I had a new phone, unable to pay because of BankID. No problem, the girl at the bar took my order and brought drinks to my table. Perfect service. On 14th of september 2021 i tried to pay at the bar because of new phone again, BankID trouble etc. The guy at the bar was having none of it. He said "Im not allowed to take payment at the bar" and "Why dont your friend pay for it and you can vipps her". Im not sure where the problem lies here. Im a bar manager myself and knew the covid rules at the time. Bergen Kommune allows people to pay at the bar, but you have to bring the alcohol to the table. Or you could do table service. I did this at my bar. If people cant use the webpage, come to the bar no problem, ill bring the drinks to your table. So either the guy was too lazy, or the management misinformed the staff. But we've had the same bar rules since march 2020, so i dont understand why in august 2020 (When covid was worse btw) I could pay at the bar, but i could not in september 2021. Not a place I recommend, Zachariasbryggen has all the same stuff this bar does + more stuff. In Zacharias u can even play darts for free, in bar 3 darts costs money. Plus Zacharias had much more hospitality!
