A typical tourist restaurant next to the historic city center. We came back from a long hike (summer time) and many restaurants closed the kitchen already (21:30). This restaurant was fully operating and the food was very tasty. You can sit outside with heat lamps and it was actually very cozy with the harbor and the lights everywhere. Can recommend a stop by.

This place really disappointed me. We went there cause we saw a vegan pizza on the menu which sounded ok and saw some vegetarian options that could easily be made vegan with one ingredient taken out. Once we set down we found out no changes as such could be made to ANY dish, and the only option is a cherry tomatoes, fennel and rocket salad, and even that had basically almost no sauce at all, it could have been so much better with just a little thought put into it. The pizza itself was ok at max. The dough was fine, the sauce was ok but the vegan mayo that is written in the dish description was on the side, not even on the pizza itself so it was basically a dough with a salad on top of it with a side of vegan mayo. Overall wouldn’t recommend any vegan to come here, it’s a shame we’re in 2022 and there are still places with so little vegan options.

Our tour guide recommended this place and I am very glad we went. We had a romantic, candle-lit dinner on the second floor overlooking the harbor. My advice: the portions are large and very rich. We got a pizza and the mushroom ravioli to split and it was a lot of very rich food. I think you could easily share a dish and an appetizer. We got the fried risotto balls and they were excellent. Wine list is extensive and the waiter’s recommendation on a bottle was spot on. They had a good beer selection, too.

Visited this place twice during our 4 day stay in Bergen . Delicious food - loved the pizza and pasta . Friendly staff too. At the center of the place with a very cozy interiors adding to the overall ambience. Not the cheapest place I must add but we felt it was worth our hard earned money ! Give it a try when around this area.

Ordering was simple for gluten free because they had the entire menu marked for common allergens. I ordered the gluten free cheese pizza with rocket on top. The food came out in a timely manner & was very good. My partner ordered gluten free pasta with his chicken that was very good as well. Also make sure to stop at the ice cream cart outside the restaurant as well. Their raspberry sorbet was so good! Please note, I am not celiac & do not have issues with cross-contamination. Please speak with waitstaff regarding cooking spaces.
