Had one night in Bergen and walked to Fincken. Got there about 8:15pm, on a Thursday night, and could see people inside but the door was locked. Web site gave the hours and even noted that the bar was open. Very disappointed.

To be honest it was my worst gay clubbing time :S there were more girls than guys and atmosphere was quite boring, a lot of oldies walking around.

I had a very bad experience in there. The security guards were really unfriendly and atmosphere just didn't seem welcoming. Never see u again

What a hole. 9 of us went, kr50 to get in (after insisting on our IDs (we're all in our 40s)) seemed pathetic and empty, we declined and went to the hotel bar instead. Very sad. 4 of us are from Kuala Lumpur (where it's illegal to be gay) there are better gays bars there.

One of the saddest gay bars I have been to. Absolutely nothing happening except a trivia game! Come on, it is Friday night. But thank you for trying. Oh, by the way, where is the dance floor?

Don't go! We don't accept credit card... only cash.. The first place we find in Norway when we cannot pay this way.... Bad beer.... go to another place before this one

Delightful experience for this mid-30's boy! Good crowd. Good music. Good prices. Best gay bar we've experienced in Scandinavia, and on a Wednesday no less!

We had a great Saturday night out here. A mixed crowd, 80s+70s music in the bar downstairs, lots of dancing to chart pop/dance/cheese upstairs. Quieter at first but packed full after midnight. Hot, lively, small, loud and fun.

Way more cozy and less clubby than most LGBTQ+ bars I've been too, plus the gender ratio was WAY closer to 50/50 which was really cool to see for once. The downstairs section feels like a livingroom or chill cafe, but if youre looking for a more stereotypical LGBTQ+ bar vibe they have a dancefloor and live DJ's upstairs. Beer is pretty cheap by Norwegain standards (60-90kr) but you wont find anything fancy like craft or import beers. Only complaint was that it was pretty empty for a saturday night. People didnt start coming in until around 1am.

(Translated by Google) Cost 11-12 euros just the enter, narrow palce, you have to pay extra 4 euros for every single clothe you have, bad actitud at the door and bar. Very young people, bad music, special drinks and bad musicNext gay bar in BERGEN. Homeland in the mountains sucks! Poor service, poor service. Too expensive entry 100 kroner to enter a cramped and poor room. Had to pay an additional 30 kroner for the jacket and 30 kroner for the sweater, although both hung in the same clothes hanger. thus a total of 160 kroner. When I complained, I was met with irony, cheekiness and rudeness. Both by the one who received the clothes only, who by the way also had to sell drinks, so that there was a long queue in an already small and cramped room (SECOND FLOOR) and by the doorman. When I asked the doorman if it was possible to talk to someone who was in charge of the place that night, I did not get a response and she rudely sent me into the room since she had to jab. So I was not important as a customer. The music was also bad and there were just lots of poorly dressed too young and full people there .. (Original) Cost 11-12 euro just the enter, smal palce, you have to pay extra 4 euro for every singel clothe you have, bad actitud at the doar and bar. Very Joung people, bad musikk, spesiv drinks and bad musicEneste homsebar i i BERGEN. Homelivet i bergen sucks!

This bar was a really cool place. It looked like artists took over a 1970s tiki bar. The drinks were very inexpensive and the bar tender was handsome and personable. It was quiet. It was fun. It was terrific! Thanks fincken for being a safe place for queers!

Is it gay? Yes. Is it a bar? Yes. So it does what it says on the tin. It’s not the wildest bar, but the drinks are cheap for Norway and you can play boardgames.

(Translated by Google) at the cafe fincken you are thrown out and blocked out by full / drunk employees due to an e-cigarette without nicotine and without smell, this little drunk lady with long dark hair, refused to look twice at the cigarette she claimed I smoked. I asked if she was drunk and asked if we should call the police. then she completely clicked to raise me at the door. I am a grown man who has definitely always respected and welcomed smoking bans on the night out. I feel deeply offended by this incident and have nowhere to go to rectify this mistake.

(Translated by Google) Probably the only gay-friendly bar in Bergen, or maybe I should say lesbian-friendly because there were more girls than guys. The music is not very loud, and the atmosphere is rather calm. We are not in a dance bar, but almost in his living room. The cocktails are not very alcoholic, but rather affordable (86kr for the majority). A large group of young people were talking to each other. Another small group of 40s. Several single people who did not seem very open to discussion ...

👍👍 Stopped scrolling through countless Google Maps recommendations and chose this cute little pub. Hearty and delicious food. Pricier than fast food but so worth it. Go for the fish pie and artichoke soup.
