Awesome cosy bar reminiscent of something you would find in Berlin, like someone's lounge turned into a bar. Has a sort of Madchester/90s Brit theme. Music was fantastic, great PA system and small DJ setup which is loud enough you can really enjoy it, but not overwhelming in the top end so you can still have a conversation. Great British leaning beer selection. Really friendly guys working the bar. Definitely the best casual bar in Bergen that I visited.

Both locals and expats are found here and it is easy to strike up a conversation in the bar. It the winter they will have a roaring fireplace which ads to the atmosphere. I did not go to this place for food, but I gave it a try twice for a musical performance. The first time the punk band was really good and the second time the DJ playing hip-hop music was excellent. The issue was the lifeless people who never gave the DJ any respect, they literally had hip-hop music playing with everyone in the room sitting on the couch is talking louder than the DJ. At the next performance, the band that had to perform in front of statues. Literally nobody dancing. People were just sitting on the sofas talking to each other over the DJ, or the most excited guy at the Punk concert had a beer in his hand, while nodding his head. Even when I tried to make some small talk with the person beside me, another miserable person came by and told me to stop talking, during the concert. This place has the most introverted and friendly people I have ever come across with that hipster vibe if you know what I’m saying🤢🤮 The staff there was really polite and friendly, which might of been the only saving grace for the place. If you want to experience a room full of unfriendly introverts with no sense of rhythm go to this place.
