Great place to go for students. Beers are usually between 45 and 70 kroner. It has a nice atmosphere and they always have the best playlists on!

Don't order food there! I've been to Det Akademiske Kvarter several times just to have a drink or a cupcake. That had always been fine. Two weeks ago, me and my friend ordered food for the first time: a falafel burger and vegetarian nachos. After 45 minutes, we asked the waiters if our food was ready and it turned out they had forgotten to deliever the food. They served us the cold nachos and burger which we immediately returned because we wanted warm food. They said that they would heat up the food, so we asked again after 15 minutes. Then, they said that they had decided to make new nachos and gave me the falafel burger which was luke warm. 15 minutes later, they were still not ready with the nachos - in the meantime, at least 5 other people had been served nachos. They did apologise to us many times but we did not seem to be priority despite having waited for almost 1,5 hours already. After almost two hours, we asked again and it turned out, they had forgotten to deliever the food again!! So we ended up eating cold nachos after two hours of waiting because we were literally starving and would have eaten anything by that time. That was a truly horrible experience - we will not come back!

It's difficult to be unbiased as I worked here for a while but for the price, you're getting a pretty good deal (considering this is Bergen we're talking about). Bear in mind that the staff is 99% volunteers and relax in a very young and chill atmosphere.

For student, it is a nice place to discuss, you can get delicious food here if you feel hungry. Besides, i feel not only mood but whole environment are comfortable.

A great place for students to hang out together, have a couple of beers and party like you have never partied before. They have events like silent disco, improv battles, and singing drinking songs, and plenty of other exciting events. Would recommend

A very calm place with a beautiful Ambiente. A lot of students and space for working. The coffee is affordable and good! Fair prices!

Kvarteret is a nice place for students, for drinking and eating. The beer is fairly cheap, and the food is very good. The same concepts persists, like MikroMandag, which is an evening with cheaper brand beers (both tap and bottles) in Grøndahls (the beer pub).

Great place, run by volunteers. Cheap prices, good environment and amazing people: definitely the right place for a student in Bergen. There’s a café, a pub, a nightclub, a lot of spaces where you can study or meet with your friends and even a cinema!

Sometimes free coffee for students, nice relaxing music and very relaxing couches to chill with other students. Also enough powerplugs for the hard working student's laptop

Very nice music tonight, would love to have easier access to water but the bartenders were nice enough to fill up and let me take a full jug of water to the dancefloor.

Best place for students! The food is amazing and affordable :)
