The service was good and foods felt like they are well thought. I had a bouillabaisse and monk fish. The bouillabaisse has a burst of flavors and bits of different kinds of fish here and there. I really enjoyed it. Monk fish was a little chewy but I've never had monk fish before, so it's probably what it is supposed to be. All the fixings are nicely flavored. I don't usually care for beans but all the bits of veggies and herbs on top made them not boring at all. Overall, I enjoyed the foods here. The presentation was very clean (so was the restaurant), simple but the foods made you feel like the chefs put a lot of thoughts into it. Recommended.

The mushroom sandwich- possibly the tastiest meal I had while in Norway! Delicious coffee too and beautiful setting. Only sad I didn’t find it earlier in the trip

The restaurant is composed of 2 parts. A fancy place in the front and a trendy place in the back. I liked both parts. There was a chill vibe in the restaurant. Food: 1 entrecote: small portion, but very tasty meat. 1 fish: did not taste too fresh, good sauce. It did miss some variation with (more) vegetables and bread/patatoes. 1 risotto: got 'dull' very soon, more tastes needed.

We had such a lovely dinner here. Flavourful classic food in a stylish setting with great service. Would highly recommend, especially the hake and the cheeseboard.

Location: In the heart of Bergen and easily walkable if you're staying in the center. The place: It reminds me of a super modern, partially hipster-y cafeteria. Great decor - semi minimal but warm and cozy. I dig it. The goods: After eating random Icelandic cuisine for a few days, I was really looking for something light. I ordered the chicken salad and it was delicious! The greens were fresh, the chicken was tender, and the whole thing was full of flavour. The dressing was similar to a Caesar dressing, which appealed to me less but it was good nonetheless. I got some raspberry juice and that was a lovely treat. Great little spot to check out if you're in Bergen. Service: OK. Price point: All I know is that everything is expensive in Norway. Especially if, like me, you're coming from Canada. That said, this didn't break the bank (I don't think... ).

On the positive side: Excellent and attentive service, relaxed atmosphere To be improved: Food quality and level of sophistication in preparation and presentation, red wine should not be served chilled Bottom line: We will give it another try

Excellent sommelier - the Southafrican wines come at a bargain. His front house colleagues lost steam as the evening went by. The kitchen both produced excellent flavours and less excellent flavours and was especially challenged on the grill section. Vegetables could be more local.

By far the most delicious gastronomic experience in Bergen. Such delicious and creative food with plenty of tastes and textures, and such amazing service. The visibly open kitchen with chefs cooking in front of your eyes - speaks for itself. This restaurant for sure deserves many Michelin stars!!!!

We felt sad. We told a survey several times that we would like to order. We were waiting long time. But the server said us “ I’m busy so I can’t serve.” We went out this restaurant sad. We never want to go to this restaurant.

Amazing eggs Benedict with ham. A the sandwich brandad - fish with mashed potatoes and peas on bread. Very tasty. Service is quick and friendly, coffee was tasty. For a lunch or brunch, this was excellent.

Had lunch with my girlfriend around 1300h She ate CÆSARSALAT I had 2 OSTER and BLÅSKJELL. At 1850 I throw up everything, got food poisoning. I almost can pin point the blåskjell with a funny flavour. Our experience was 4 stars. Called them and told them what happened, he said he was going to inform the kitchen. If there is any developments I'll update the rating.

Good food, good ambiance! Would go there again. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict were the best I’ve ever had. A bit pricey though.

It was a nice experience, the food is good but not overwhelming. The atmosphere was conviviale and I assume it is better to go there for a lunch.

Visited for lunch and had a pleasant experience. Firstly it was away from the big crowds of people who flood the areas around the fish market and Bryggen. There was a nice selection on the menu from sandwiches, salads and warm food. Also a range of drinks was on offer including a lovely strawberry juice. Service was efficient and food delicious. Staff were also very friendly and hospitable. Recommended.

Tasty and fresh food! We tried the mussels, homemade sausage and broccolini salad. Food tasted as good as they looked. Bonus points - this is also located next to Bergen’s only indie bookshop.
