Probably my worst experience in life. Food never tasted that bad, the atmosphere is terrible. I had some kind of sea food mix in super hot sauce and couldn’t even enjoy it. Just 2 shrimps, some kind of white fish that tasted like it was unfrozen and frozen again and again, and lots of celery.. the price for the dish was too high. You would get nothing, but bad experience.

I guess the chef is someone non-Chinese but likes the Chinese food.. lol. shanxi liangpi (homemade noodle in menu) used actually Japanese udon noodle (not homemade, you can find them in Asian stores lol), good but super spicy and not tast like shanxiliangpi... gongbao chicken is all the gongbao chicken I tried in my life that is the most far away from the authentic Sichuan gongbao chicken. Steamed egg was not fully cooked and served as a starter (the chef corrected it very quickly though). Tempura vegetable is also funny, not crunchy and served with soya sauce(?). I find it an interesting experience (view it as a foreign chef trying cooking Chinese food), environment is also nice. But if you are looking for the best Chinese resteraunt in town (as they claimed) as a Chinese foodie, maybe this is not the right place for you :-). I see many people had a good experience with dim sums, maybe that is also what to go - usually resteraunts buy them instead of making them, so quality should be stable :-)

Nestled one block away from the fish market and tourist attractions, this modern decor high end Chinese restaurant is one of the best Bergen has to offer. The tofu in the mapo tofu had that great melt in your mouth texture, and the sauce was sezchuany but not too spicy. The broccoli was peppery too but had a different but also great taste. Three really distinct dishes. We also had some veggie dumplings which I personally thought were a little plain, so I'd skip these and go for the other amazing dishes!! Loved the clearly marked vegan dishes and the staff being knowledgeable about veganism. 5/5 from me though - I'd visit again for sure!

A nice restaurant with cool atmosphere. Everything was correct, nice appetisers and desserts, but two out of the three main courses were dissatisfying. The fried noodles had a taste of burnt and the chicken with rice was very very basic.. seemed like the vegetables were from the classic frozen bag. Desserts were superb and the appetisers were a nice variety of tasty dumplings.

Excellent vegan/vegetarian options. Dumplings a bit undercooked, main dish could be a bit less oily but tofu was nice, last dish was a tad too sweet. Overall pretty good food. The people I went with had dishes with meat and were satisfied with their food as well. 10/10 atmosphere.

Definitely a rather fine dining restaurant. Quite pricey for the volume of food. However the food was good. I ordered the Sichuan munk fish and the chicken rice in lotus leaf. Although opinions may vary, for me the sichuan spiciness could be felt throughout my whole body. It was alot of spice to handle in such a portion. The rice wrapped in lotus paper was lovely and perfectly moist (because of the oil), although it did not have a signature flavor. Would definitely visit again, soya later!

We did take out a couple of times and we have not been fully satisfied. Several items on their menu taste pretty much the same because they use the same mix of vegetables, pineapple, and baby mais from the hot and sour. We found this mix in the Tom Yum Kung, Szechuan Hot & Sour, Pang Pang Biff, and Kam Kon "Hot Pot". The best dish we tried were the Szechuan Hot & Sour and the Dampet Char Siu Pao. The dumplings and gyoza were good, but not memorable. The Tom Yum Kung only had 2 shrimps (I counted them). The Pang Pang Biff was our least favorite, the beef was overcooked, a bit burnt, and the sauce very oily. Overall I would rate it 2.5 stars.
