If you get Mate as your waiter, you're going to get amazing service

Hello. Service was attentive and flexible, accommodating two special requests. The fish stew was excellent. Filet with peppercorn, also very good -- the sauce was well constructed and held up well. Scampi with pasta - very tasty. Fish special was cod, quite nice.

I liked the atmosphere, the good quality of food and the impeccable service. The staff was knowledgeable and very happy to make changes to the dishes in accordance with various allergies and intolerances. The starter dish with various hams, cheeses and condiments was perfect for sharing. And they have outdoor seating too!

The food is satisfactory, and the patio is really nice whan the weather is good. The staff is also friendly and helpfull. However, sevice takes forever, and the place suffers from having a too good location. More effort is needed, but sadly will never happen as the location is great. Not a tourist trap, but close.

Always good service .Been here several times , for drinks, lunch and dinner and drinks .. Good GT menu and the guys really know how to make them . The waitresses we've had are efficient friendly and aware ( we've usually had the English speaking ones serve us ... ) yeah , a decent place to go. Prices are a bit steep but hey , that's Norway.. Nice terrass area for when the sun makes an appearance too. We had lunch here today , 29.03.17 , fish soup , burger, 1 beer and a glass of proseco.. kr 568

Nice place with good atmosphere :) The food and dessert is good, along with good wine pairing. Would like to give credit to our awesome waitress Dominica for absolutely great service. :) Thank you all for a great time here. :)

Well. The reason they get a 2 is that the food was good. But unless you are a fan of lousy service (the waiter took 30 min to get to our table, aaaaand we are still waiting for our beverages...it's been 15 mins...). They lacked ingredients for their starters, pizza and I was surprised to know that they could still produce a main course. I am never going back, but that's because I'm not a fan of bad service and a lacking menu...

I came by for a quick lunch and decided on the Ceasar Salad. It came quickly and was excellent. The service was friendly and fast. And the actual restaurant is beautifully decorated and set up. Highly recommended anyone visiting Bergen to make this a must for lunch or dinner.

We went to Theatro on an early Sunday night: Extremely poor service, really unattentive staff! And we were one of VERY FEW tables seated. Never asked about refill of drinks, or how the food tasted. Staff only hung in the bar talking to each other and/or friends. Food was nice, but hard to cut the meat. Asked for steak knives, we were told they "used to have it, but not anymore" (!). After main course we wanted dessert. Waited a long time for the waiter to come to remove our plates. When he came, he didn't ask if we wanted to look at the dessert menu. It was like they didn't want to make any money that night. Also had to ask for toothpicks, as it was not on the table. This is a place that doesn't seem to have a clue about what they're doing. Going to a (pricy) restaurant, you pay for the whole experience, not just the food. With the prices in Theatro, one should expect much better service. Not recommended! Not worth your money - or your time!

Good service. However, for the price, I would have expected á Caesar Salad that actually tasted somwhat remotely like a Caesar Salad. Also, 210 NOK for store-bought pasta is, to me, a robbery.
