I haven't found a better place in Bergen to eat this quality of sushi! The fish is fresh and the rice is perfectly cooked. Definitely, recommend!

Huge portions at affordable prices - fish quality isn't the best I've had, so stick to Maki (rolls) instead of Nigiri or Sashimi. The space inside to eat is quite small, so takeaway might be the best / only option.

My favorite sushi place! I love pretty much everything I've ever ordered from Ichiban. Its not cheap, but the sushi pieces are quite big. My absolute favorite roll is no longer on the menu, unfortunately, but they still have plenty of very, very good rolls. I recommend the crispy tuna or dragon roll!

This is by far my new favorite place for sushi in Bergen, they have had consistent good quality for a very competitive price, and after sitting there and eating (wouldn't recommend that by the way, they're definitely more take away focused, although it was still fine), the staff seemed to be smiling, laughing and having a good time with each other. So all in all it's really hard to find anything to critique about it 😃

Compact restaurant, but cosy. Price is reasonable (at least in Norway). The staffs are very friendly. I saw people walk in and out, and they were greeted by the staffs, looks like they know their neighborhood customers pretty well. The only little down side is the tuna could be more fresh. I’m from Japan, it’s pretty easy to tell the freshness of your fish. Overall, not bad!

If you want quality sushi for a reasonable price, this is the place to go. They have a variety of different dishes to choose from, and i can assure you that you won't be disappointed. The staff are friendly, and the sushi is prepared within 10 minutes. I can recommend the grilled eel there, it's pretty good.

Had the Nr54. lchiban Familie Pakke. The quality was really good. Quantity-wise, it is a big meal for 2 or reasonable meal for 3. The service was very quick and friendly. Price-wise it's probably in the middle range, but given the quality it's a good deal. I'll be ordering from here again.

Amazing place! Ichiban delivers great sushi at an affordable level. It's the perfect place for takeaway , but you can also eat indoors and enjoy good service. The menu has both classic and creative sushi. What blew my mind is that you can taste how much time has gone in to finding the right ingredients and the correct amount of each ingredient. The sushi tastes amazing! Definitely come here if you haven't and like me maybe you have found your new favourite sushi place that doesn't destroy you wallet. Highly recommend!

Really impressed with this take out place. The seafood was fresh, and sashimi slices were a decent size. I also liked that they included a citrus soy sauce mixture in addition to container of normal soy sauce. The combination of ingredients for the rolls was also well done and made sense (I.e. none of this strange strawberry topped sushi that I’ve been experiencing in Bergen lately). And best of all it’s reasonably priced.

One of the best sushi spots in Bergen. Central location. Unpretentious service and vibe. Good quality sushi. Not a lot of seating (most ppl get takeaway). Can easily recommend over any chain sushi in town. Maybe best I've had in Bergen when comparing price and quality.

Sushi was fine, but nothing special. Experience ordering online was not good - I ordered a small sushi set and a bubble tea, and when I came to collect it I was told that the bubble tea wouldn't be ready and they could just refund me instead. They could have rejected my order on this basis but instead chose to wait until I arrived there, leaving me rushing to find the second half of my lunch from somewhere else. The sushi also took longer than expected. It was supposed to open at 12 but when I arrived just after 13 the door was still locked. So don't trust what you read! I'm sure it's fine if you're not in a rush, but avoid if you are short on time...

Ichiban is a great place to visit if you want to eat take away sushi. The food is quite good for a take-away sushi restaurant. I recommend you to try out Ichiban's various sushi party trays . It is better places/restaurants to visit if you want to eat sushi in Bergen, but if you want to get some "value for your money" , Ichiban is worth to visit

I would give 2.5 if possible. We had the Ichiban pakke for two and the Rainbow rolls. The dragon maki were good (4 stars), but the rest was mediocre. It was not well assembled and the rolls fall apart. There was supposed to be 6 nigiri, but we only got five. The sashimi was also supposed to be in 6 pieces, but we got 5. The sashimi was the worst thing of the order, not the right cuts. Not ordering again.
