Cozy hotel in the city center with a beautiful concept (it's called Magic for a reason ;), professional staff, fantastic views and delicious cuisine.

The hotel is in the heart of Bergen and is new. There are several oddities with the hotel. First, it has a parking garage under it for guests but you cannot access the hotel without walking outside, around a curve and up the hill. Second, the hotel tried to hard to be cute with the rooms. Walking in you feel like you are in a space age movie theater. The rooms are anything but traditional rooms. There are no phones and all the light switches are hidden and clustered and unclear. The staff was great. There is free laundry on the 4th floor but it has to be the tiniest units I have ever seen. There is only 1 washer and 1 dryer. All irons are in this room as well as there are none in the rooms. The breakfast was splendid and varied. The restaurant is on the 5tg floor and has a beautiful view of the city. It's clean and quiet, but we had a difficult time with the temperature in the room.

·The room was very comfortable and the staff was efficient and helpful. The front desk was busy when we arrived but the staff was able to sort everything out quickly. The breakfast room is way to small for the number of guests. A good and quiet breakfast goes a long way and this is not possible due to size of the room. Even so the staff did everything it could to ameliorate the crowded room.

It is a really good place for a short stay. Our room was well equipped and had a nice view to the Ulriken mountain. There was no electric kettle in the room but we asked for it at the reception (free of charge). The breakfasts were delicious and varied. And on top of that you could have your breakfast on the nice terrace from where you can observe the city. There is possibility to leave the luggage at the reception which is very convenient.

Best value for a price in Bergen. Breakfast is delicious with a respectable selection of options. There is a supermarket next to the hotel, a gas station, and a bicycle rental. There is a hotel option to do independently laundry and washing powder can be purchased at reception or purchased independently. Every day, the room was cleaned. Each day cleaned out the room and replaced the towels. Train from the airport stops a 5-minute walk to the hotel, good option since taxis are expensive. The staff was nice and efficient and always happy to answer questions and help.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, the view lovely. Its a few minutes walk to the tram (to airport or centre). With the tram, it only takes ~5min to get to the center. We enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are small but the beds are very comfortable. The blue light is very annoying. We had our room to a very noisy courtyard. By 6:30 am we were not able to sleep since it was so noisy. I don't know if it was the delivery for the supermarket or they emptied the trash bins. Breakfast was good with a nice view over Bergen. But for this rate I would not that hotel again.

Best you can have for the money. Price was cheap while including the breakfast. Place was very close to Tram stop which was very convenient. also the hotel located at city center, so easy access to many tourist places. Breakfast time restaurant was very crowded and we had to stay on queue until we get a seat. Most of food options were finished and we had to ask for them. This happened when we went to breakfast at 9AM, may be due to the time.

I stay several nights, in diferent days. The hotel has a modern design. Breakfast is superb. The view from the terrace is fantastic, special at night. Rooms are really good. Its not far from the city center.

This hotel was a wonderful quirky surprise! The rooftop restaurant has gorgeous views of the mountains and sunset. Food is good. The rooms are tiny (even the family rooms) so be prepared. Staff is friendly! There is a market next door where you can recycle bottles for cash and a gas station below the hotel. It's about a mile from downtown but easy to get to the light rail station.

Very good value! The rooms are clean and modern -- with a very particular design language, that might not be everyone's taste, but I found it enjoyable. The breakfast is very good. You should know that daily housekeeping is not included in the price. I for one was completely fine with that.

One of the best views I have ever had from any hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. They gave good information for how to get to Bergen and key attractions to see. Breakfast was fairly basic however but the rooms were perfect. Would highly recommend anyone staying in Bergen to stay here and the price is very low so an extremely good value for money
