Very creative pizza selection. The pizza crust is more like New York style I would say; not too crispy and thin. I liked the way they combined different ingredients that you would not think of using on pizzas often. Our choices were mushroom & sesame and pineapple & ham. Mushroom contained fish sauce and soy sauce which worked so well all together. The cutting way of mushrooms gave them a move while the pizza was still hot. The pineapple was also delicious but the red onion pieces were added almost raw which did not exactly go well with the pizza. Note: If you are staying at City Box you get a discount of 10% but honestly, I don't think much is changing since the prices are already a bit higher than some good pizzerias in Oslo.

Little pizza bar place named after norwegian snake. Hoggorm makes the best non-Neapolitan-style pizza in Bergen. Unfortunately, table booking is not possible. Unless you are a big group, they have a strict first-come-first-serve policy. The restaurant does not take reservations for groups under 10 people. The usually offer vegetarian options, and can even adapt to vegans.

Excellent pizza! Lots of tasty toppings, the crust is thin, almost Italian style, but a lot more crunchy. Fun and exciting with the sauces on the side. Plant based option was delicious. Great selections of wines and service was very friendly too.

Very limited menu with really strange combinations of flavours. Our starters were dry and unappetising. Only given forks and no knives. My husband's pepperoni pizza was really greasy. My pizza, which I think had a Japanese element?? was vile. I had to leave it. Ordered a red wine, and it smelt and, only what I imagine, tasted of dog poo. Had to leave that, too. Uncomfortable chairs and tables too close together. Overpriced, inedible food. Complete waste of money.

This is a relaxed place with good pizzas. I am not surprised that they are almost complete at all times. The menu is small but good enough to satisfy many various appetites: from meat lovers to vegans. The pizza of chicken with green curry is the best in my humble opinion. The portions are food enough for the price, and the service is quick. I'd go back.

This is incredible pizza! Plus, the sauces are also delicious (garlic, spicy oil, and a hot sauce). We ordered pepperoni and three cheese - we were so impressed with such simple pizzas because they were exceptional.

Outstanding pizzas, interesting combination of toppings. The whole concept of oyster, pizza and good wines is also something unusual, but in a good way. Worth to try.

Exceptionally creative and delicious pizza! It seems like Hoggorm regularly changes the menu which makes it even more unique. This place is therefore loved by locals. Tables are always full. A cool and a hip vibe. Perfect for a dinner with friends and some beer, but maybe a little loud for some people.

Crispy pizza, heavy metal in the background, and a great wine and beer selection, what more do you need?

Best pizza in Norway! The pies speak for themselves–– perfect thin crust, a variety of innovative toppings, three incredible sauces to squeeze on top–– but it's the great wine selection (the wonderful Peter knows his $%#@!) and service (unflappable Laura runs a wonderful restaurant, Paul's got a memory like a steel trap) that makes this place bar none.

Great food. It's usually quite crowded so it takes a while until it gets to you. Decent selection of pizzas, with both red and white options. All of them are thin crust, unlike most pizza places in Bergen. Some good options for side dishes, though they're a bit pricey in comparison to the pizzas.

Will take anywhere from 10-20 minutes for them to take your order and another 30 minutes if not super busy to receive your pizza. Been here several times and surprisingly consistent in that regard (started timing to see if I was crazy). They are as chilled and laid back as their music selection. Music is very tasteful and varied, great rock music. The pepperoni pizza is one of my favorite pizzas by far in Bergen, the other pizzas are fine. The habanero sauce is something I didn’t think I’d enjoy so much on pizza, if you like spicy it’s worth the try, super delicious and spicy. Cost is above average, should be better service I personally think for the prices you’re paying. It’s a fun place to try out though, worth that much at least.

Great pizza place. Amazing pizzas and a killer wine list. The staff is cool and the atmosphere is great. A must visit in Bergen.

Soooooo good! We got a really tasty pepperoni and the amazing mushroom and sesame (with Bonito flakes!) pizzas, plus super yummy garlic bread. All delicious and good size portions (two pizzas was enough for two people plus lots of leftovers). The sauces you get to top the pizza with are really good - garlic, habanero and chili oil. Good service and didn’t take super long to get our food, even though it was pretty busy. Definitely recommend to pizza lovers, it tastes super unique!

Very chill place with excellent pizza. We had the pineapple/bacon and aubergine/paprika/za’atar pizzas which were both great. The crust was perfect! I liked the additional sauces offered (garlic, chili oil, and habanero). The habanero paired especially well with the pineapple/bacon. Beer list was modest with multiple Norwegian brews. Would highly recommend!

Seemed like a very popular place by the time I left. Pizza was good, a nice selection of craft beers and that ginger drink was heaven after hiking the mountain earlier in the day. I wish they'd open early. Pizzas are inventive and interesting.

I already had some bad experience with weird customer service in Norway, but this one was next level. Incredibly ignorant waiters and staff. It was not even crowded when we arrived, but for 10 minutes no one even greeted us. One waiter finally brought a menu for us without even saying hello or making eye contact. We immediately decided to leave, even though we have heard a lot about their good food, but with this service, no way. Even Kebab shops have better customer service.

Clearly the best pizza place in Bergen! The crust is thin and crispy, the toppings are creative and rich. We had the chantarelle and fennel pizza, which was delicious. The four cheeses pizza was also good. The service was friendly and quick, given the high demand.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting a lot from Pizza in Norway, but I must say, Hoggorm has some of the best Pizza I've had anywhere in the US or the world, for that matter. The staff are super friendly, the beer is fantastic, and the Pizzas are perfectly cooked, thin and crispy. If you're in Bergen and want authentic thin crust Pizza, this is your place.

The pizzas were pretty good although the one with 3 different cheeses on it had a strong lemon taste. It was still a good pizza and the one with pineapple & bacon was excellent. It took very long to get the pizzas but I was okay with it because I saw how many pizzas were picked up (a looot! :)) and the restaurant was full. I also really liked the restaurant (the look etc.) and especially the music. The service was okay-ish. Not very enganged, not very attentive and did not really pay attention to the people sitting there. We had to ask twice for the menue, had to ask the waiter if we could place an order, had to grab the cutlery by ourself and after 20' of waiting we went to the bar to pay our food. For quite a pricy pizza I expect a better service.

Went to check their place in September 2022. Ordered 2 vegan pizzas. One had coriander (and I am not sure it was specified in the menu), which I hate a lot. Another looked more like a salad instead of pizza. Noticed that they use pizza "oven" similar to what you see in kebab places. So, pizza was a huge disappointment. Meat versions might be better though, but I won't be coming back to try them. Wine selection is what saved the day. Tables are pretty close to each other and there's not that much space for people to walk (I was hit by passing by customers 2 times and I am not a huge guy taking a lot of space). Overall, disappointed by this experience.

Very cozy place to enjoy your dinner during your stay in Bergen. The prices are at normal levels for Bergen. A few variety of pizzas but very delicious each of them

The quality of the food is truly excellent. The oysters had the best shuck we have experienced in Bergen. The vegan pizza was exceptional with a grating of horseradish on top posing as parmesan. The chef takes great pride in the product and came out with each element to present. Limited selection of taps. Funky interior. They have recently expanded, two doors down, to an al fresco outdoor setting.

One of the best pizzas my husband and I have ever had! English menu is projected on the wall. Our server also spoke excellent English and answered our questions about the menu. My husband enjoyed his beer, and I enjoyed my Prosecco. If you are staying at the nearby CityBox, this is a great place to get a meal! Oh, and the oysters were divine. I ordered the two cooked oysters, each a different style, and they were phenomenal.

Dope pizzas, nice atmosphere. Heard the come up with new amazing recipes. Crust is good. Girlfriend had allergy on pork so they wiped blades before cutting it.

My favorite restaurant in Bergen. The vibe is more bushwich than Bergen, but that’s just a plus. Friendly staff, delicious pizza and oysters, and a pretty broad selection of natural wines by the glass, even though the really funky ones unfortunately only is by the bottle.

Good pizza, not classic Italian toppings but tasty! The only problem was a quite long waiting time, the service non the less was kind and they were helpful! They understood the waiting time was getting long! Nice wine choice of natural wines as well! 👍🏼👍🏼
