Visited in August 2017, the cathedral is under construction. May take several months to finish based on construction activities. Avoid the place.

A great place to warm up on a cold and rainy day. Especially when you also get a chance to hear the church organ play.

Closed. Visited the church on a Thursday at 11.30 AM in September even though Google Maps say it is open😡

Lovely experience to sit in the cathedral during mass and listen to the organ. Stayed a bit longer to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with the locals who are really eager to share the history of the place.

Not a touristy cathedral, but we were there for the communion service.

As it was Sunday and a holiday, the cathedral was open. Can't be compared to Catholic churches' interior, but still nice to visit.

Well preserved historical building. It was closed when we were there, but the outside was beautiful. Don't miss the 17th century cannon ball still stuck in there.

Afraid this wasn't open when we visited but it looked a lovely place from the outside. There was a lot of building/renovation work going on though. Hope to come back and see it inside and out when all the work is finished. Sure it'll be worth it.

Easier to locate in Bergen than finding when it is open. There's a cannonball lodged in the front of the cathedral from when the town was attacked, which is kind of neat.

Bergen Cathedral is located at the centre of the city within walkable distance from the Floibanen Station. There are some beautiful art installations nearby.
