😠 Restaurant: Mediocre food, uninterested but quick service. Suspiciously quick in fact (2min). I was clearly served bad food and suffered from food poisining a day after. Would absolutely not recommend. People often mention view,

An old sardine canning factory a little away from central Bergen. It has been re-purposed as an arts complex and has live bands as well as its own cinema. I liked the building in its own right and its location on the edge of the fjord. There’s a cafe there too.

Amazing view, good food and nice service. Ot is a very busy place. If you managed to get in, you would definitely have a good time.

The rice in the poke bowl was, in the immortal words of Gordon Ramsay, “F***Ing raw!” Avoid!! The NY style cheesecake was, however excellent in the opinion of this New Yorker.

A cultural centre located in an old sardine canning factory. Visited on a weekend during Summer and the place is uncrowded. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the harbour but food at the restaurant did not look appealing. There is an outdoor bar stocked with a large variety of drinks. There was an abstract & bizzare art performance taking place outside the building during our visit. Expect 15-20 mins walk from the city centre.

Old factory area was turned into art activities area. Almost every day there are something happening. Or you just stay and wait for the sunset.

Quite a nice wharf-like venue for concerts. Various drinking areas compliment the whole area.

We were looking for something not so touristy in Bergen and this place was close to where we were staying. Wonderfully picturesque, overlooking the harbour, the USF, or United Sardine Factory, offers a little place called Kippers. There was plenty of outside sitting for the summer months and every effort was made for guests to enjoy their meal outdoors, with blankets, overhead heaters, and umbrellas to keep the rain and sun from disrupting your dining experience. They feature a DJ outside to spin some tunes, and on the Friday night we were there, there was a Norwegian rapper laying down his F-bomb laden rhymes. Probably not for everyone. We ordered the Bolinhos (155 NOK), a Brazilian dish of fish, potatoes, and egg formed into balls and fried, served with tartar sauce and salad. It was tasty, not bad. The Jalapeño Cheese Burger (190 NOK) was generous for the Norwegian price and very delicious. I would not recommend the Tortilla Chips Med Ost (83 NOK). It says: “Tortilla chips with cheese...”, which you would expect meant covered with grated, melted cheese, but these are like Doritos, with a cheese powder on them, served with salsa and sour cream. Not bad for what they are, but I would not recommend them. It was expected you would order and pay for your stuff at the bar, they will bring it to your table as well as come to see if you are enjoying and needing anything else. Service was friendly but hands off. I gave this place 3 stars because it was decent, but not amazing.

Super cultural venue. Everything in one place! Cinema, concert halls, black box theater, studios and offices - and a great restaurant with a sea view! Wonderful staff too!

Very nice space. Might not look like something from the outside (unless you come to the bars on the sea side, which can be gorgeous) as it looks a bit like an industrial abandoned place. But inside it is a very nice, clean, bright and cleverly designed!

I have only been to metal festivals/concerts here. I go there because of the bands, not the venue. The sound is usually OK, as good as it gets in an old factory I guess. It's not built to be the best concert hall in Bergen but I don't care as long as I get to see artists like Gaahls Wyrd and Taake live 🤘😁

The place was small let's say, but was great and the position perfect. Looking forward to go back again for more...

Beautiful view over Bergen's harbour, especially for sunset. The food was fresh and affordable. After dinner we went to the cinema - cozy with comfortable seats. Great place altogether. Lots of art and small artisans.

Nice multi room venue for art, concerts and parties, with a sea side bar and beautiful view of Bergen coastline.
