Amazing view on top of Bergen. The hike there is a bit difficult, but you will forget all about it once you reach the top. Not too crowded, but I went there on a Monday morning.

Short but very challenging way up. About 800 steps to the top, but the views are amazing. Lakes at the top are clear and you can drink the water from their streams. I highly recommend this, but you must be able to climb lots of steps.

Stoljakelvin mountain accomplished.. Small distance to cover but full steep to climb. Fastest climbing record is 6-8 minutes as I heard. We took more than 80min 😛.. You sweat well when you reach the top mountain.

The most beautiful viewpoint to Bergen! It took us less than 1 hour to get there from the upper funicular station. Stunning views to the pine forest and several lovely lakes during the way. I recommend this route to everyone because it's pretty easy and beginner friendly (unlike the route just near viewpoint, huge rocks are very difficult to climb, people who did that were out of breath. We used this way to get down though, and that was a bit difficult but ok). I recommend you to choose your route depends on your preference and go there, you'll not regret 💯

As a male 30, working from home, with jeans and backpack it was hard! Wanted to give up 3 times 😄 had to do breaks. Be prepared! But worth it! The view is awesome and u can do it in around 30-40min. A lot of people work out on this trail.

A great hike up the mountain. The stunning view of Bergen city from the top was totally worth the cardio exercise! Be cautious though, It could get icy at places so mind your steps going up the track.

Short but hard trip to one of the most beautiful views in Bergen! Stoltzekleiven is a steep paved trail and stairs with approximately 722 steps up to Sandviksfjellet and Sandvikspilen. Stoltzekleiven is short but hard and one of the most popular trails in Bergen . The more you climb, the better the view you get! The trip is suitable for children from about 5 years old. Not recommended when it is snow or ice (can be very slippery). From Sandvikspilen at the top of Stoltzekleiven you have breathtaking views! (see my attached photos). Highly recommended trip from a local! Regards Svein-Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.

Wonderful views of the city and awe-inspiring lakes, you can make connection with some good hiking routes from here. Be careful with the stairs that come up from Sandviken since they can be frozen and very slippery in cold season.

Fantastic hike up (reminds me of grouse mountain in Vancouver), with equally awesome view of the city (the best view is up to the right on the rocks after you get to the top).

This is an amazing place with a wonderful view over Bergen. To get the it is recommended to start fro Munkeboton bus stop. The way up you can get only on foot. The way up is quiet easy but requires some stamina. When you are done with consuming the view proceed to floyen. That part is easy... alternatively take the tour starting fom floyen. ..
