Quite low budget style hotel. Smelly corridors, (mostly) small rooms and extremely noisy. If you like your peace and quiet, don't stay here or at least demand a room on the backside of the hotel. It is right in a busy nightlife spot and you will hear loud music and people shouting. Alarm bells should go off when you see the complimentary earplugs they offer at reception. Breakfast is not real breakfast, but a bag with a ham/cheese sandwich and a bottle of apple like juice they hang outside your door in the morning. There is no fridge or water boiler in the room, although the latter can be borrowed from the the reception. They don't clean the room every day, just drop off some fresh towels. This hotel was booked for us by a travel agency (since the regular hotel was full), but I would not advise you to stay here if you can afford a better place. Only plus points: helpful staff, clean beds and bathroom, lies in the center of Bergen.

The hotel itself is OK in a good location. cleanliness not well maintained. there's a VERY LOUD nightclub in the basement Breakfast is delivery in your door before 7am everyday (it’s a juice with sandwich). We visited the place on January. One night it cost us 659 NOK (approx. 66 EUR) Only positive is the price, but even for that price I expect better rooms and service

You pretty much get what you pay for here. The room I stayed in was a single bed, very clean and well kept. The building is showing its age a bit. Don't expect anything fancy for breakfast! Also to those planning on staying over the weekend, this building shares with a night club in the basement. If you want quiet of a nighttime, you won't get it in this hotel. Personally, this doesn't bother me, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Pleasant&friendly staff, boxlike room practical for sleeping, very clean apart from some dust, central location above a popular pub. In fact, the room was directly above the pub. Dreadful breakfast...

Hotel located at the city centre, with a nice view from the window. Breakfast is supplied, but it is given by putting them inside a plastic bag and hanging them on the door's handle. The room is furnished with old materials. This hotel is great though if you're on a budget.

Location is great on the main street of Bergen leading to the wharf. Inside the place is old, our room had a broken shower, we switched to another room which only had twin beds rather than a double and still the shower was broken as we could not hang up the shower head! The bed were comfortable though and the new room had a view of the main street, which however at night is very loud!! Breakfast is a sandwich and a juice hanging from the door at 7 so be careful when booking thinking you will save money on breakfast!!! Overall given location for the price paid it was acceptable but could be improved. Nice range of restaurants right around the block to have an ok dinner at without spending an exaggeration for Norwegian standard.

I booked single room, was very clean and organized. The attendants are very nice! Breakfast is delivery in your door before 7am everyday (it’s a juice with sandwich). The only problem is have a bar close the hotel and people are too noisy, but I used earplugs to sleep and everything was ok! cost benefit 👍🏻

Lovely room. Reception staff are wonderful!! Polite, friendly and very helpful! Situated in city centre - so great to get around and catch trains etc. Would be nice if we had kettle and coffee in room. Strange breakfast - sandwich and juice found hanging on your door in the mornings. Don't cater for those who do not eat bread. Noise at night from restaurant goes on until early hours of the mornings. 😑

Can be great, or a terrible experience. We came a year ago and loved our room over the square, five stars, gorgeous room and great location, for cheap. HOWEVER, we booked a room again this year with totally different results. Two stars is almost too generous. Arrived at check-in time with our bags, but were asked to wait nearly an hour in lobby while they were still cleaning. We were not offered a place to put our bags so basically sat on them for 45 minutes. Unreasonably rude staff member when we politely questioned/complained, we were treated like criminals for the rest of our stay. Finally got placed in a hostel-type building across the street: with a broken elevator, five flights of stairs to our room, massive stains on the walls, and a tiny 30 year old television. Found the locking mechanism on the door was unreliable, sometimes wouldn't lock for a while when we tried to leave. Hopefully P-Hotels changes these things, this visit left us baffled.

Central location, nice and clean rooms. Warm and spacious bathroom. The breakfast which is hung on the room door is not very enjoyable. The many restaurants and bars around the hotel are definitely a better option.

Cheap price. Breakfast is useless but better than nothing. You get what you pay for. Decent location in town. There is a nightclub underneath so can be loud. Made me laugh when I came to reception and they had ear buds to hand out. Didn't bother me but I wasn't on the lower floors.

A decent budget hotel in the heart of Bergen. Rooms were simple yet clean. WiFi worked well in the room. Breakfast is just a simple ham and cheese sandwich with a bottle of orange flavoured juice. Be aware there is a nightclub in the basement but we never heard a sound from it. Would definitely stay there again.
