Lovely hotel situated a little way out of the centre of Bergen (10-15 mins walk). Highly recommended. Very modern interiors. Breakfast (very good) is included. Staff are lovely. You can also make yourself yummy waffles in the restaurant after 4 pm.

Cute hotel within a walking distance from centre, a bit uphill so might be heavy for some. Breakfast included but not very good: cold scrambled eggs, out of warm food on both mornings and when I asked about vegetarian/vegan options they said they have olives. 🙃🫒🤷‍♀️ Rooms are nice and tidy all tho quite warm/hot even in the beginning of June.

We had a wonderful stay for one night. The people at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. You can get delicious waffels and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was very nice and cosy and the part of the city is beautiful without many groups of tourists. It was very fine

Wonderful small hotel. Pleasant room with good bathroom. Staff absolutely brilliant. So friendly and helpful, could not do enough to help us. Breakfast was self service but with a large selection of fish, meats, cheeses etc. A range of loose leaf teas also available. Could not find a fault.

Great location, very close to center but aside of tourist routes. The room is good projection of Norway, compact and minimalistic. Nice place for short break.

Not recommended. The reception ladies are inconsiderate and rude. Was trying to request with the reception to extend the checkout time from 11am to 12pm due to work call - the reception lady I met during checkin keep shaking her head and ask me to come back and check again the next morning. When I come back to ask again the next morning another reception lady keep shaking her head again, and saying you need to pay, you need to pay, you need to pay x amount even just awhile without asking the reason and that’s it. This is my worst customer service experience in Norway.

Great location. Stayed both ends of our BKB trip with Hurtigruten. Lovely helpful staff and good location although up a hill. Bergen is full of hills 😊

Good value mid range hotel in reasonably close proximity to the city centre and easy walk to Hurtigruten terminal. Excellent range of food at breakfast. Note to get TV channel yoy need to cast from you phone or laptop.

Excellent quiet location in historic part of the city with gentle dlop up and down from town centre, light rail terminal and bus to airport if you don't take the light rail to the airport. Rooms light and airy but to get TV you need to cast from a laptop or phone. Spacious room and bathroom. Free waffles between 1700 -2000 and comprehensive breakfast offering in price.

Excellent staff who are always willing to help. The free breakfast is simple, but delicious. Their fresh-baked bread is fantastic! And the complimentary waffles in the evening are such a nice treat at the end of the day.

This is such a lovely hotel, it's a beautiful building, my room was great, they served tea and waffles and an excellent breakfast. On top of that, the staff was very kind and the woman working there during my stay was very helpful and kind. Oh and they have google chrome on the TV in the room, which is a great idea in a rainy city like Bergen. If I return to Bergen, this will be my hotel again. Thanks Klosterhagen! 🙏💜💙💛

Very comfortable and nice place to use. Breakfast and waffle at 4pm was good. no connection for TV, but they connected chromecast and provided fast internet, so I could use my phone to watch youtube or other content.

Very nice little hotel in a very cute place in Bergen. It's just minutes away from sentrum. Very good breakfeast that u vould choose out from a form. (dont know if this is just in the COVID-19 time) ALL in all-we likes it

Built circa 1700 on the footprint of a 10th century monastery, Klosterhagen Hotel is magical having retained many original features. It's situated perfectly, on top of a hill, for visiting the old fish market and the Hanseatic Bryggen Wharf, which is accessible by walking down steep steps to the quay and taking a five minute ferry ride, costing only £3.00. A wonderful place which will definitely have my custom again! The staff couldn't be more helpful, the rooms are well appointed with modern, immaculate bathrooms and extremely comfortable beds, and breakfast is superb with really lovely bread baked on site, delicious, home smoked fish and freshly squeezed orange juice! Perfect.

Cute little hotel, located in the area with few of beautiful narrow street. Receptionist Annette really helpful and really nice. She is really friendly and made your feel very welcome. Breakfast also has good variations.

Great location and staff Anna is so helpful to get our bags to the room. Lots of variety at breakfast. Toilets well maintained clean and beds comfortable. The room is not warm enough even the heater is on. Rooms not too bad enough to fit the 3 of us.

Hotel is close to city center, but on quiet place. Very nice view from my room, I could see Floyen an Mt. Ulriken. Very nice selection for breakfast, especially for fish lovers :) I had budget room, so it was bit spartan, but good enough. 5 star overall
