Built
circa
1700
on
the
footprint
of
a
10th
century
monastery,
Klosterhagen
Hotel
is
magical
having
retained
many
original
features.
It's
situated
perfectly,
on
top
of
a
hill,
for
visiting
the
old
fish
market
and
the
Hanseatic
Bryggen
Wharf,
which
is
accessible
by
walking
down
steep
steps
to
the
quay
and
taking
a
five
minute
ferry
ride,
costing
only
£3.00.
A
wonderful
place
which
will
definitely
have
my
custom
again!
The
staff
couldn't
be
more
helpful,
the
rooms
are
well
appointed
with
modern,
immaculate
bathrooms
and
extremely
comfortable
beds,
and
breakfast
is
superb
with
really
lovely
bread
baked
on
site,
delicious,
home
smoked
fish
and
freshly
squeezed
orange
juice!
Perfect.
