We stayed in a cabin for two nights when our accommodations in Bergen fell through. The staff was very helpful in getting us set-up on short notice. The facilities and campground was well kept. A hiking trail was accessible from the campground and from that trail other trails could be picked up.

We stayed in a caravan for 3 nights. The site was clean, people working there friendly but the spaces for camping are tight. The staff didn't care about people taking up 3 camping spaces on the grounds for themselves nor did they enforce the 3 m rule between caravans/ RVs. The showers are terrible. Expensive and you only get 4 mins of water from a mounted shower head. You can NOT change the temperature of the water or get everything on your body clean without a washcloth or two. WiFi didn't really work which is not acceptable these days. Washing machines and tumble dryers are expensive. Obviously the site tries to milk campers for as much money as they can. Kitchen was small but nice and clean. Reception staff were very friendly but the staff actually keeping up the grounds didn't care about enforcing the rules as I mentioned. It's quite far away from town but it has two local supermarkets nearby and you can charge your car at the local gas station. The gas station also seemed to have lower prices on gas and diesel than stations closer to town.

We had a great nights stay at Bratland camping. We stayed in a cabin and it was absolutely lovely. They have fresh bread and coffee in the morning which we loved. The staff was very helpful and kind. We highly recommend!

Got a room there because wetter was terrible. It was rather small and a bit pricey but beds were comfortable, showers free, kitchen available. Public transport is a comfortable option to get to town in like 30 minutes. The camping site itself looked nice but also kind of muddy when too much rain is falling.

Nice camping, clean facilities and kitchen, showers included (4 minutes per person per night). Nice views, especially in the mornings. Quite a lot of places for tents and caravans, many cabins. Two downsides: half of tent lots are near caravan waste dump, so it can smell a bit (we slept there and it's not bad though, and very close to the showers), and road is near, so it's not very quiet.

Nice campsite, small place for tents but next too the water which is a perk. Reasonably priced for tents and a lot of access too facilities (shower, kitchen, badrooms etc.) without additional costs. Most spots are for campingcars however so it can feel a bit like a horizontal flat.

Camping on a beautiful location, next to the lake and in the mountains. With good facilities, little supermarket with fresh bread, laundry machines, a shared kitchen and a small place to sit and eat when it's raining. Location: It is quite far from the centre of Bergen with the public transport. The distance is easy to travel, but be aware of this. During the week there are a lot of busses going there, but in the weekend there are no early busses before 7:52. It takes you 12 min (bus 90) to travel to "nesstun terminal". And then 25 min to Bergen centre (tram 1). So approximately 50 min. See bus schedule attached. Cabin: We stayed 5 nights in a cabin with lake view, "bruvik 8". The cottage was perfect! Located on a small hill, with a veranda and view over the campsite and the lake. Next cabin was not too close to ours. Cottage was really spacious for the two of us. A spacious dining and living room with kitchen, dishwasher, couch and table. A nice and clean bathroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bunk bed. Everything was very comfortable. And we really enjoyed our stay here. If you need to choose between the cottages, choose the more expensive one with lake view and request for "bruvik 8". The small cabins at the lake are quite close to their neighbours and this cabin feels more free. Note: if you're camping with a tent, make sure you locate your tent on a spot where the runoff rainwater won't flow when it starts raining! Because of the heights, rain can become small streams by the time they get to the lowest parts of the camping and it just happens to be that those parts are where a tent might be pitched.

Fine place to camp, but access to Bergen is not very good. To get to the city you take a bus and then a tram. However, we found the bus to be so crowded that the driver turned people away. And when we were returning to the campground, there was only one bus per hour. We left early because of this.

Worst camping place we encountered in Norway. Expensive und as you can see from the photo, not the greatest view. Only the cinnamon rolls were pretty good. Better than a lot of bakeries in fact

Good price for a cabin compared to other places around the area. Location to Bergen is a bit far away (by public transport takes about 30 min, with min two connections). Quite good common camping facilities (toilets, kitchen, shower, laundry rooms + diner room with TV set). The kitchen area is large and clean but minimum equipped (1 oven, 1 kettle, 1 microwave, and several hobs).

This place is really just a place to sleep. We had two cabins for 6 people and it was a bunk bed with enough space for 2 at the bottom. The shared bathrooms were okay and it was an easy check in and out. All in all pretty ok for just one night. You get what you buy. Perhaps if the cabins had a kettel and space for 3 people to sit by the small table, when we are 3 in the room, would make the experience better.

Do not choose this place! Really sucking system with cards to enter the bathroom. I only get one card to share for two people. We had two shower credits on one card (they were not willing to give us a second one), we came home late, my sister went to the shower and BOTH credits were gone. Then the reception was closed and I could not go and have a shower after a 5 hours hike. In my eyes: inhuman.

Beautiful campsite by the lake! A hiking trail is near too. Friendly staff and a little shop at the reception. There was also a shared kitchen.

the camping is well organized. there is a busstop in front of the camping that takes you to bergen comfortably. there is a camp shop that sells the basics and fresh bread each morning. the facilities are living room, shared kitchens with hot plates, washing basins, water cooker, washing and drying machines, toilets. but there is too little of everything. people are standing in line for most of these facilities most of the time. camping with a tent: plots are small, and sometimes you even have to share a plot. campers are crammed next to eachother. the road is very near by. all the huts put pressure on the favilities too, as people from the huts have to use these as well. there is a wonderful hike statting from the camping that takes you into the mountains immediately

A wonderful place with very friendly staff! I got problem with motor home in camping and I got best help from staff which I am really thankful! Camping located about 16 Km. To Bergen and local busses available and bus station located just outside of camping!

The pictures from booking com promise a completely different hut. The bed mattresses hung completely. The Wi-Fi is only at the front desk to receive and there only with weak Internet strength. The staff was friendly. On the men's toilets the toilet paper was once wet, probably because of the missing cover. The showers were OK, nothing more. one shower had a toilet in the room, another had once stunk dog. 4 minutes shower for 10 kroner. The water in the cabin was whitish, however the tap water was good in the practical community kitchen. Our cabin had no advertised TV connection (was not bad for us). Overall for the price, the accommodation was still fine. Unfortunately only as I said by no means Honest as described.

Nice site, good facilities and excellent for catching the bus into Bergen as the stop is outside the campsite. The only downside, and reason for not getting 5 stars is the very noisy road that runs alongside the site which did keep us awake at night.

Great camping experience. The staff made this place with the stay. The cabin was roomy and clean. The shared bathrooms were good but having to line up was a nuisance in the morning. I recommend a cabin with a bathroom. The location is spectacular though with amazing views.

Showers cost extra, toilets are okay but not worth mentioning. From many spaces on the campsite you'll hear the noise from the nearby road which is somewhat frequented during the night by lorries and cars.

Nice place. Clean facilities, many showers. Has it's own short hiking trail, close to Bergen (good bus connection), small on-site shop with a wide variety including freshly baked stuff. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Three stars for the friendly staff and the location close to Bergen with the public bus stop at the gate. But this also means, the place is directly beside the street. Downside: The showers and the restroom. The showers are tiny rooms from which you almost drop directly on the street. No chance to choose the water temperature, it starts when you insert the 10 NOK (4 minutes). Only two hangers for your belongings. If you want to brush your teeth you have to do it next to people sitting on the toilet. Kitchen is ok and well equipped and there's a TV room which I haven't used. Parking is on stony ground with some grassy spots beside but much higher. There's also a short hike starting at the campsite (3 km) and you could climb up to the Ulriken.

Camping site 20 minutes by car from Bergen. Kitchen and sinks are ok but all the services are a little bit old. Clean bathroom but showers costs 10NOK for 5 minutes. Price too high for the service. Wifi included. Tent area little bit small

Very nice place and friendly staff. Stayed one night with my bicycle. I really liked this little camping hill where you can put your tent. With that you have a nice view over the camping place. Wifi was a bit troublesome but who knows there were also a lot of people. The kitchen was also very good. Even some pots free to use. One thing might be the difficult arrival for cyclist but that's surely not on you ;).
