I went here 7 times in 40 days!! I was vomitting, high fever and almost couldn’t walk. They told me that i’m normal sick and that its nothing. They gave me nothing and kept sending me home all 7 times. They didnt Even check me properly, it seemed like they just wanted to send me home. The next time after those 7 times i went to the hospital. And the hospital told me that i have diagnosed blood cancer!!!!!! I COULD GET TREATED 40 DAYS EARLIER BUT BECAUSE THE EMERGENCY PEOPLE DIDNT WANNA HELP ME ALL 7 times, i’m sadly at a critical condition now.

We waited for hours just because we are not Norwegian, a lot of other people with the same problem arrived hours later and were taken in earlier.

8 hours waiting and counting… with my sick mom. She is 67… this place is a joke. Call an ambulance if you want emergency treatment. Everyone that came after us is gone. Processed over 100 clients. Noske standard.

I came there with twisted ankle, I have been waiting for less then 1 hour to go inside. The doctor who took care of me was very professional and understanding. All visit there was no longer then 2 hours (including X-ray).

I think they don't like tourists! Five hours and still waiting... People who came after me are already being treated. Would definitely not recommend if you can go somewhere else

Affordable health care. There is a triage system so if your problems are not urgent you can expect to wait. They do let you know that there will be a wait. You should call when you’re on the way so that they can prepare their system for your arrival.

This place is hopeless. Have visited here a few times before and waited almost 6 hours. Now they've implemented call first then come at the agreed time. Still hopeless. Waiting already for 2 hours now after our appointment schedule. Note - I'm with my daughter and the time is 10:30pm.

Already in the phone conversation, which starts after 20 minutes of waiting, you are met with extremely unfriendly people, it seems as if their job is to prevent people from seeking help. Got scolded for not going to the GP, and several times told to wait until Monday even though I explained that the condition was acute, also explained that I had been through this before and that it had previously become dangerous to my health. But she thought this was my own fault... Health-Norway's disgrace, and the worst treatment you can receive in the whole system... it's a shame that our tax money is not enough for a better offer, with people who want to help the patients...

I had a serious health problem during a trip to Bergen and was brought here by an Uber. They all speak English and they were able to take care of me super efficiently. I really recommend it, nurses and doctors are kind and responsive in case of urgency.

Doesn't take you seriously and you can be sure you'll be sitting there until you get wrinkles on your forehead

Every time that I come to the Legevakt in Bergen I promise myself that I’ll never return again. Sure enough I did, and this time was no different, even after years apart from my last time, and supposedly after many improvements from them. I came with my daughter, who has been high high fever for 4 days. Had to call and make an appointment. We were called in quite fast after the first trial. The nurse was great, and she said that we would need to wait a bit for the doctor later. We were sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours, and nothing. When I asked in the reception if we were forgotten, they said that they couldn’t predict the time, and that sometimes people have to wait for 6 hours. I find this extremely disrespectful, and I wish that could be an organization that we could file a formal complaint, and this is totally ridiculous. What’s the point of making an appointment, if you go there and should expect to wait for 5 hours? What’s the point of having a child section if the children have no priority? This is the first time that I ever posted a review. The feeling of powerlessness and customer disrespect is so great, that the only thing that I can do is to raise awareness for others to avoid it at all costs. You can always go to the dropin alikes, the few hundred crones that you’ll spend there, will certainly save you in years of avoided stress on Legevakt queues.

I had heard good things about healthcare in Norway, but I am surprised. Even in Spain, patient care is faster. All day long to be seen and prescribed some sad pills, and there were only 20 people waiting. How can they be so slow? Children coming in crying or bleeding and they have to wait for someone to attend to them when everyone else is in perfect condition waiting for their turn. They really take it all in stride in this country. They don't know how to work efficiently. The emergencies in this country leave much to be desired.

Quite simply tragic. Calls on the phone, and gets an appointment 30 minutes later. Have now sat for 4 hours, and were not allowed to borrow a phone charger from those at the counter, even though they had one that was not in use. Getting a little lost for words from the buzz here. People have to take time off to just sit here and wait? We could work an extra 4-5 hours and pay tax for them instead of sitting here waiting. So it's just sad.

I was very worried when I read reviews about this hospital. But I no longer had a choice, I couldn’t delay, especially before the holidays... I don’t know, maybe I was so lucky, but I was accepted 10 minutes after I walked into the hospital building, because the other 30 people were sitting in line. We tried to talk to the doctors through an interpreter, but after a while they found me an interpreter over the phone. I was examined by 2 doctors who asked a bunch of questions. Communication is polite. We paid about 200 CZK for the appointment. Then they sent me to another hospital, where they were already waiting for me to confirm the diagnosis. Let's consider myself lucky :)

A big thank you to the Bergen legevakt team, great work, very quickly detected a rather serious illness at the initial symptoms, quickly referred to the hospital! Thanks to all of you!
