Really great place to explore for not only the amazing views over Flesland area but also if you enjoy WW2 history then there is plenty here to look around and figure out with the German Batteri installation, its built on quite a large area when you look around and also you can see why the Germans chose this prominent position to build defenses.

A very good place to watch planes take off and land

Nice little walk through thw forest, nice view of airport, the battery leftovers are not that interesting... But good little hike.

Cozy little trip. Nice with a view to the airport at the top. Can be used by wheelchair users and prams.

Great lil «hike» walk in the area. Can see the whole airport runway, and surrounding area. On a sunny day its pretty gorgeous here. Around 2.5 ish km from the Rema 1000.

Was a nice walk starting from the Airport Hotel. The old battery is cool to see and the overlook towards the airport is great for sunset/sunrise timelapse. There’s a few geocaches in the direct area, one along a man made lake nearby. Also there are various trails that stem off the main road up which appear to be used for land navigation training. Worth the effort!
