Been here a couple of times now. It's biggest advantage for me is that's it's conveniently located near to other things I'm in the area for, but that's about it for me. The climbing area itself seems pretty small and so it feels like it gets pretty busy fast. Also the air quality is really terrible and you can see the chalk dusk just hanging in the air. It really needs to be ventilated better and I'm sure that based on how bad it was when I was there last, it's a health issue as it was clearly making folks cough. Service isn't great either. First time I was in the guy behind the counter seemed a bit surly and second time the staff were just no where to be seen and I was just standing there like a lemon for some minutes. It has changing rooms with decent sized lockers, so that's a plus for it, but overall wouldn't recommend this climbing center unless the person already lived next door to it. You're better going to Åsane or Fana.

Bergens latest and best equipped climbing gym aimed at bouldering. The main bouldering area offers a great variety of bouldering problems aimed at beginners, intermediates and advanced. They have a dedicated area for specific training with fingerboards, pullup bars and monkey bars. The gym is equipped with it's own café and dedicated seating to chill and enjoy the view of the fjord and passing ships. There is also a climbing shop connected the the café. This shop have shoes, chalk and other accessories for climbing. To get here you have to take the 16 or 17 bus from Bergen city center. Drop of at the stop "Holen" and follow your Google maps directions.

Excellent center, good routes, very creative, but the air quality is really disastrous on rush hours like sunday afternoons, we could cut the air with a knife as it's so full of particles. I also don't understand why there is no prevention for asbestosis (good pratice rules for examples, information about asbestosis), it's so important to protect the people who just come to have fun and don't know the risk they are taking breathing all this, especially when there are many kids in the place and sometimes even babies.

Too full and very bad air. A lot of lime in the air which caused breathing problems.

Very cool hall for bouldering. The boulders were creatively designed and there was enough choice for all levels of difficulty. It's definitely worth a visit if you're traveling through! :)

I like it. Friendly owners and social climbers. Large and open bouldering area with a variety and creative problems. They just expanded the bouldering area just before Christmas aswell! Should be a small discount on food for those with a year pass or students. To get here take the 16/17 from sentrum or Bergen busstasjon and walk down to the coast using google maps. Go all the way down to the parking garage by the water and you will see a door on the right. I write in English and not Norwegian so everyone understands.

Very glad to have this kind of activity center opened in the neighbourhood. I guess there is a lot of space for people interested in bouldering. Children area is also interesting and can hold them active for about 1-2 hours. Very nice coffee and delicious snacks, provided by BKB I guess. There is also a room for children birthday celebrations.

One of Bergen's best bouldering centers. Good variety of problems from 3 - 7+ Children's room. Café with beautiful view of the fjord and the mountains. Recommend.

Accessibility: The gym is located not far (10 mins bus) from the city center, although finding the entrance is a bit tricky. Reception: I stood there like a potato for about 5-10 mins before having someone to help me through Ambiance: I found too much of chalk floating in the air, due to the lack of ventilation and as almost everyone using powdered chalk. Bouldering: the problems seemed really fun, the gym definitely has everything for everyone also a kilter board if you are an advanced climber.

We were in Bergen for 3 weeks and thought we'd just pop by this bouldering gym for a couple of sessions, but we loved it so much, we went EVERY SINGLE DAY (you can buy a one-month pass for 500 kr which is super duper good value for money). The route-setting is really creative and fun, with interesting and educational routes for all levels. We never got bored even though we climbed daily for 3 weeks. The warm up and work out areas are probably the best out of all the bouldering gyms we've visited, with ample equipment and space. Our favourite part of the gym was the friendly staff though, who were caring, knowledgable, and approachable when we wanted to chat. But they also left us alone when we just wanted to put our heads down and train, very good at reading our moods! We also adore the cafe! The coffees are very good, and so are their buns, sandwiches, and pizzas. They do this mini breakfast buffet on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it's just soooo cosy, best way to start the day. If it sounds like we basically lived in this gym, then you'd be right, haha. This gym was our favourite thing about Bergen, we're definitely coming back soon :)

Excellent bouldering, a great spectrum of grades and types of problems. Clean, spacious and good air quality. Friendly staff and cafe.

I really enjoyed climbing here, there were lots of fun and interesting routes. I especially liked the little piece of paper on each wall spelling out exactly what grade everything was, made it easy to choose what to work on! They should consider stocking a souvenir T-shirt like their counterpart in Tromsø :)

Excellent! The place is built for bouldering. Kids room is good and next to a canteen where they sell coffee and a bite. Also an equipment shop.

A nice spacious bouldering hall with problems in all levels, from very easy to a level that I can only dream of yet. There is also a small shop with climbing utilities like clothing and shoes.

Althoug i can train more endurance like on the kilterboard, I really miss the longer bouldering routes. Never been to a place with such a majority of short routes. I can imagine they are doing this based on their safety focus, and that short can be challenging too, but yea, i dunno. Also the grading is overtly soft. It was not like this before, and seems they are doing it to sell people what they want; the feeling of progression and achievement.

Clean and welcoming! Great and inspiring for new beginners but also more than challenging enough for advanced boulderers. Best place in Bergen!

Just travelling through Bergen and I was very thankful that I stopped by. Best bouldering I have experienced. Great route setting and beautiful location. Will come back again for sure when I’m here next.
