On one of the rarer consistently sunny days in Bergen, I admired the sunset over mountains here. That was really sensational! Personally, I also liked this viewpoint better than the one from Ulriken! The visit up the funicular is a must! Be sure to walk the many paths when you are up the top! We went in the pitch black but didn’t get lost! Quite scary though . There are also plenty of goats to pet lol Make sure it’s on your list!

Great viewpoint with an adventurous mountain ride. From Bergen center you take the steep cog railway to the viewing point. From here you have a great view of Bergen and the Byfjord. From above you can perfectly hike through a beautiful forest area back to the center (approx. 3.5 km).

Beautiful view of the whole city, looks really nice. Didn’t seem to be boring even after visiting several waterfalls, but apart from the view nothing much to see and the tickets are quite expensive on the cabin

First of all, we go high up Fløyen railway and then you have a great panorama over the whole of Bergen. Especially when the weather is good, you can simply find a comfortable place to sit and let your gaze wander over the fjord.

Spectacular views of the entire city. It's very worth it. You can go up with the zip line and by walking, which is 3.5km with 300m of elevation gain

Beautiful views of Bergen from early morning to late evening (during summer). The Fløibanen operates from 07:00 to 23:00 and costs around €13 a return trip to the top of Fløyen and back. There is a lot to do at the top of the mountain, and a picturesque forest to explore.

Great views over Bergen as long as it's not too foggy. The place is the perfect starting point for a short hike or just to linger. For children, the playgrounds are centrally located.

You have a great view over Bergen (hopefully you have more luck with the weather than us ) and it's a great starting point for different hikes. They have toilets up there you can use for free. The hot chocolate we drank was delicious and reasonably priced ( 43NOK). You can also buy souvenirs up here in a small, cute shop. Would absolutely recommend!

Breathtaking view of Bergen. So nice. There's a cafe nearby & restaurant. You can also walk-around the peak there's a sign on how much time it take to walk around. If you want to hike without taking the train also possible.

If you come to Bergen it is mandatory to take the funicular and come and enjoy the view from here. The most beautiful view over the entire city of Bergen and its fjords. Absolutely recommended!

What a spectacular view! My first time traveling to Norway and the AirBnB where I was staying is very close to the path leading up to this view. The tram was about a 5 minute walk, so I decided to take that instead of walking up. A few small shops are at the top here. Including an ice cream place, small pastry/drink/ice cream shop and a small gift shop. Once you're here, you can wander off the many trails, but they are pretty steep, but worth it. Also had goats wandering around too. Once you're done, you can either take the tram back down or walk back downtown. Which takes about 40 minutes, but it's quite steep going down. Highly recommend this observing place when visiting Bergen!

After light trekking, we were rewarded by astoning view ... and we reward ourself with the ice cream. 😁 It was sunny day, pretty warm for Norway and Bergen, panoramic deck was crowded with people that are sunbathing... and we deserved ice cream, aren't we? 😁 If you are not a fan of hiking, there is a cable car.

The journey up Mount Floyen was a lovely experience via the Funicular train. The view from up there is so beautiful. We could see the whole Bergen city.

A small hike to the panorama views. It’s easy hike , however , during winter the walking path gets real icy and need crampons to walk up. The same can be bought near the Floyen ticket counter at any supermarket or grocery store. At the viewpoint, it really gets windy and word of caution is to avoid tripod usage as even the strong ones can trip and break. Breath taking views for any season and nice spot for after lunch walk.

10/10 sunset. I have not seen a more beautiful sunset in my many journeys. Would visit Bergen again just to watch it again 😍

What a view over Bergen. Just take the Fløienbanen or walk up from the city. A lot of tourists and be careful not to drop anything.. you won‘t get it back anytime soon.

A very nice -- and very popular -- observation deck at the top of the Floidbanen. Worth visiting, especially at sunset, but expect to have a lot of company. You can access this area by hiking up the mountain (recommended!) or by the funicular.

Definitely the best 15€ you can spend in Bergen. For just this small fee you can experience an incredible panoramic view, take photos, chill. There are restaurants, souvenir shops to spend your time and a large area to walk around and explore. There is also a nice area for kids to play. Really recommend it.

Awesome view of Bergen, easily accessible using the small train from town center. This is also the starting point of very nice easy walk/hiking routes. We really enjoyed our walk there!

Too many tourists to give 5 stars. But if you visit, buy an ice-cream and enjoy the view with :)

Definitely worth a visit. Lovely panoramic views of the harbor. Lots of facilities including children’s play area, toilet, café and tourist information. You can catch the Finicula train from the town or walk up which takes approximately one hour.

One of those viewpoints where it is worth forgetting your watch to enjoy the wonderful views it offers without haste. It has different points from where it is worth contemplating the city of Bergen and the fjords. It can be accessed either by funicular or on foot. Whichever way you choose, this is a must-see on any visit to Bergen.

Definitely one of Bergen's must-see spots - nice viewpoint over Bergen area. Warning: can be pretty crowded during weekends (especially if the weather's nice).

👍👍 One of the most beautiful places in Bergen . I will never forget this place as this where I first saw the Aurora in Norway.
