It's beautiful place but no information or description of it. Found some in the University Museum in Bergen (with a beautiful glass reconstruction of the place)

At first sight is nothing totally disappointing. We walked a bit further and we found a magical, green, fairy tale scenario. The woods

You only need 10 minutes to be there, provided the drive is not far. It's free, good to walk around. If you have to drive a long distance, then you may want to skip it

Interesting ruins and there is a nice walking path into the srrounding area. But not much else.

It's a magical place well worth visiting and a small detour on the way from Stavanger to Bergen. A bit flawed reconstructions but still a wonderful place and great experience - especially at dusk or dawn

It is really nice if you like this kind of stuff. You can walk between wall foundation and imagine how it supposed to look at that time.

Small but very nice ruins to look at. You felt amazed by the stones and was thinking how was it was before

Well preserved ruins, it gives an interesting place to visit in the local area. It gives you a nostalgic feeling how life was before in a monastery.

Nice roadside stop of a historic abbey. It's very nice that there is free parking and free entry. There are very nice hiking trails behind the abbey. This is a nice stop away from the crowds (no cruise ship passengers making this place overcrowded).
