Small club. DJ sucks, music sucks. Felt like sleeping in here. The only good thing I can say is that the staffs and security are friendly and nice peeps. Probably can only fit 60pax.

A Nice place where People from 18- 40, maybe 50, get exposed to their first club experience. Østre get money from the government too, so they have a clear advantage on the economic ability and oppertunity to book Internationally renowned djs and artist that normally dont get to experience this cold, desolate rainy, always windy place called BERGEN. SO IF U WANNA HANG OUT AND GO CLUBBING THE YOUNGEST AND OLDEST OF CLUBGOERS IN BERGEN ØSTRE IS DEFFINETLY A PLACE TO BE WILDIN OUT.!!! They also have a pretty good soundsystem!

It's a wonderful cultural feature that Bergen should be happy about, there are trance performances with international artists, so a place for those preferably under 30, I'm a bit reserved since I love the place and I'm 54 years old, but it's an enriching establishment, and the staff, they are as you would expect guards and waiters at a cultural event, so if you like rhythms, along with progressive electonica tunes, then ÖSTRE is the place I strongly recommend, because they are very good at finding dj's and musicians from all over the world to come there and perform, it's cheap there and insanely nice service, art is enriching when it comes in such packages RECOMMEND EAST

Østre is an amazing venue, with a top-tier sound system and professional FoH sound techs - providing excellent clubbing experiences for the ravers of Bergen. While Østre caters to a larger audience, and not only electronic music, the best events found there are the curated techno club nights with PLOINK, DOT, and the EKKO festival, to name a few.

Østre is probably one of the music venues I have been to the most since I moved to Bergen. This place always hosts great live music and art events. Look forward for many more to come!

Small but well run club mostly specializing in electronic music, with excellent sound system and good choice at the bar.

Amazing place with a nice atmosphere, but who ruined the sound there? All bass below 50hz is just completely gone! It’s a shame one of Bergens finest clubs is lacking good bass 🤔

Great atmosphere, great music and very friendly service. I heartily recommend to all open people. Very good vibes. My dream is to invite a few musicians from Poland to show you our stage. Bless

Pretty bad staff. Was kicked out after 20 minutes because the rather unfriendly bartender had decided (after having had 1 drink the entire evening with 7,0% alcohol) that I was too drunk to be served any further and offered me water. At first I thought she was joking, after all I had left the house with my partner at 10 pm and arrived there sober and had my only drink there that night. After normally asking why, once I realized she was serious, I was not given an answer but instead a dirty look and a handwave. As I then proceeded to go upstairs I was stopped by “security” and another employee who escorted me outside. The employee I spoke to outside was incredibly condescending and rude and had clearly already made up his mind in regards to my “drunkenness”. I tried to explain what had happened to him and was rudely asked if “I would let him speak now” when I said it must be allowed for me to say what happened he informed me that he had apparently gotten the full context from me on the stairs already when I said “I’m really confused as to why this is happening”. Then when I further inquired for the reason I was told I was “too aggressive” (for getting upset at their treatment) and if “i had been nicer and just accepted the water this wouldn’t have happened”. I was treated unkindly and unfairly by this establishment. I was not drunk and I did not behave in an overly drunk manner. I do not know the reason as to why the bartender decided to cut my and mine partners night short but the only thing I can imagine is having norwegian as a second language and being neurodiverse and a bit odd, gave the wrong impression to someone who does not give the benefit of the doubt often. I was told they can’t breathalyse people but if their bartenders questionable intuition is the alternative perhaps the owner should invest in that. Aside from that the club itself is pompous and stiff and you have to watch where you stand because that specific glowing thing you’re standing on out of the 300 others might be “art”. Don’t go here if you’re sincerely different and looking for a welcoming vibe, all the LGBT flags on the walls are merely for show.

👍👍 Stopped scrolling through countless Google Maps recommendations and chose this cute little pub. Hearty and delicious food. Pricier than fast food but so worth it. Go for the fish pie and artichoke soup.
