Water park Indoor swimming pool Aquatic center

😠 The pool is nice, the people who work there also....but many people wear clothes when they are swimming..... It is not hygenic to wear clothes....some women wore even jackets...terrible...I felt uncomfortable. But of course for the Islamic religion everything is allowed.....maybe I wear my winter jac... People often mention pool, swimming, swim, people, time, lanes, water, pools, kids,

No more than frustrations for those who want to learn by themselves. Its painstaking to know the right time and get desirable pool depth because of declared and undeclared swim courses running in the arena. It would be really helpful to have a single table with available pools and respective pool depth in real time.

To me, swimming is a way to both mentally relax and work out, I’m sorry to say this place is quite chaotic for it. There is no swimming etiquette people are following. There are usually only 2 lanes offered to swimmers who are not part of a professional team or a swimming course etc. And with those 2 lanes, I wish you luck because people will ask you to change the lane when there is no other option. There are lots of kickings, hittings, pushings, swallowing water because of other swimmers splashing too much. Only few knows how to pass a swimmer because majority are unaware of the etiquette. I had an incident where someone literally tried to swim on top of me instead of swim passing me through my left even though it was available. There were times I felt trapped, it is sometimes impossible to swim faster so I prefer to stop and let them pass but even then the situation becomes problematic because they allow 10-12 people on the lanes where only 4 maybe 8 people (if they know the swimming etiquette) should be sharing the most. And they didn’t even segregated the lanes as ‘fast, medium, slow’ according to different speeds, all sorts of swimmers from experienced to beginner swim in the same lane, this of course ruins the experience. Often too many people wait next to the wall, some does not have the courtesy to take turn. These problems can be solved if swimmers are informed through brochures or an app about the universal swimming etiquettes and by limiting the amount of people in the lanes while providing more lanes for high number of people who do not belong to any team/course etc. Otherwise nice facility.

A great facility for swimming, diving, jumping, water play for children, and heated pool for small children. Has 3m with fixed board and spring board, 5m, 7.5m and 10m diving tower.

Although I thought the service and the cleaning is perfect but it is pretty expensive for a family especially now with a corona time when many families list their jobs. 30 euro for a little family is expensive and in summer at least should be good prices to let the families go many times in the summer not all the families travel abroad and not much places to go I think that the prices are so expensive.

My name is Oleg. I am a refugee from Ukraine. I have been living in Bergen for 2 months now, from day 4 of my stay in Bergen I immediately signed up for the AdO Arena sports club. I am very satisfied with the service, facilities and professional staff. Of the drawbacks, the coffee machine takes a long time to work and there is no pilates group.

Amazing place. Every time we visit we find new activity for kids in the pool. There are 6 pools. baby pool. Warm pool. Long swim pool. Playing pool. Little jacuzzi . Deep pool with 5 Meters You can buy light food on the reception and ice cream as well . If you miss to bring swimming cloths or equipment you can find at the reception. Enjoy to the most. After my experience this the the best pool in all Bergen area.

This is a swim arena and limited opportunities for small kids, but the slides are really cool :)

Huge area, very nice swimming pool. Note: not super great hair dryers and no soap in the shower.

Great place to swim in a large heated indoor pool or go for a kayak in the nearby lake and onto the harbour. They can be rented by the hour. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Good training place. Water temperature is 28 Celsius degree. Standard swimming pool. Draw back: too crowded most of evenings and when it’s bad weather. Need bigger capacity since it’s very popular. Shower water is colder than last year since energy price increased.

Amazing swim facility. So many different levels of diving boards and platforms! Our kids enjoyed those even more than the slides (which were also fun.) Great way to spend a rainy day in Bergen with kids. The family entrance price is a really good deal. Parking is a five minute walk away in a public (paying) parking garage.

Excellent swimming Hal with a training Hal. The Olympic swimming pool is nicely divided to give also a 25 meter long and a training shallow area. There is a children heated pool, a hot tab and another hearted swimming area for activities for elderly, disability personal, professional jumping tower up to 3 floors height. Sauna in the showers. You get en electronic watch Which serves as your key for the locker is a very nice touch. I always forget the small change for the lockers and its aggravating.

A great place to spend time in the water, whether you want to work out or play with your kids etc... Several different pools with different temperatures to support various needs. Maybe you want to dive or give the water slides a try? Modern and clean facilities! Cash be s not crowded during the most popular hours of the weekend. AdO is highly recommended, but beware, you might find it expensive if you are not used to the local price level.

Very nice swimming pools with a lot of space. Tidy and well organized changing rooms and showers (baby friendly). Perfect place to train and relax. Highly recommended!

Practicalities: *BYO bodywash and shampoo. You enter the pool via the changerooms where you strip off and wash fully before entering the pool. *Pack a lunchbox and drinkbottle to have with you for when you get out, unless you are willing to satify your hunger with icecream. ADO does not really sell food, there is no kiosk. *$$ Entry prices vary, its cheapest at lunchtime. *Parking is a little walk away at Bystasjon, so take a beanie and jacket for when you get out so you don't die of exposure with wet hair in the Norwegian outdoors. *They sell Speedo, Zoggs, and other decent brand swimwear, googles and hats. What's it like? *The lap-pool is Olympic length, immaculate, temperature controlled, and usually has 4 or more lanes open. They play music all the time. *The lesson pools are often booked-out by schools. They are shorter, learning depth, and warmer than the main pool. There is also a baby pool, which is quite a busy spot. ADO Arena is an aquatic centre not a fun-park, but it offers a couple of slides, a pontoon or two to climb around on, and sometimes some inflatables. *Amazing dive pool with a selection of springboards and platforms up to 10m and a small spa-bath to warm up in.

It may not have the bells and whistles of Vestkanten, but if you are just looking to swim it's the best in Bergen. Both kiddie pools are great for the little ones, and the second of them is out in the main hall so families who also have larger children can feel like they can keep an eye on both. The water is clean but not too full of chemicals, she kept at a great temp. The food on site is of course way too expensive, but that's what you get with a "captive audience" type of situation so bring you own if you can.
