Elevators are out weeks at a time. You pay for amenities for a gym with broken equipment (3years). A sauna and steam room that’s been out of service for years. Leaking windows when it rains that they will never come fix(2years). Thin walls(can hear your neighbor sneeze). Fire alarms that go off for no known reason but often, at anytime(3am sometimes) And will stay on for an hour sometimes. Management is pretty much non existent. And a package room that no one cares to organize. I wish I could give zero stars.

This is the worst place I've ever lived. I live here for two years and everything is broken and the manager's work is just disgusting, I pay for underground parking 165$ a month where the door is always open, but after two years they decided to put a fence but did not give me the keys to it, now I have to look for a place around the house on the street ... On the question of how I can park my car the manager says that I have to find someone who can open the door for me or open the door somehow myself! On the fact that this is not normal manager registers with the words "if you do not like it give me your sticker from the car and you can leave the parkin wherever you want" This is just my case, I'm not talking about the fact that the elevator is constantly disconnected, parking underground has a layer of dust in 2 centimeters on the parking space .Sauna does not work from the moment of wet arrival that about two years and many -many moments about which I am even lazy to tell because they are a huge number . If you have read this message to the end I categorically do not recommend you this place to live! It's horrible ...

This was the worst living experience I’ve ever had. We gladly left after 1 long and exhausting yr in this place. I would never recommend anyone live here. It’s a cheaply constructed building that seems to be trying to put out one fire after another, with no success. It’s extremely loud because the walls and floors are unbelievably thin, to an extent that I didn’t know was possible, and so much more. The negative reviews on this building are spot on. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Every manager has a manager, yet this complex is currently being managed by someone who refuses to escalate issues. This building could be nice, and there are nice people who live here. However, too many issues with poor management that was NOT THE CASE when I first moved in under a different manager. Is there anyone I can speak to? Too many concerns and I am uncomfortable speaking with the current manager. ty! also don't know how else to do this so sorry=]

My partner and I moved in about four months ago now, and while our experience hasn't been as bad as others, they're some things I wish the building management had done better. Pros: - Price is decent for being next to the light rail and bus to NYC - Sarah has been great, and we've never had an issue needing something fixed or getting an answerback. - Staff is always down for a chat and is courteous. - Apartments are decently sized and updated! Cons: - The main issue for us is the thin walls between rooms. We expect noise in an apartment building, but we often hear something as simple as sneezes and coughing. We're lucky we only have neighbors on one side but know that the walls are thin. - Elevators are either down or making an odd noise when working. - The front door system doesn't always work for letting people up. - The way the building does packages is frustrating, to say the least. I wish Oxford Realty would just pay someone (besides Sarah) to ensure the front desk and package area are organized and decluttered. Updated: If you don't have to, don't move here. Awful customer service. A fire hazard garage situation, and management that clearly doesn't care about the residents. I'd give it zero stars if I could: Overall: The building is fine, nothing special. It's our first apartment, and we love the space, and the price isn't too bad, either. The gym is typically open and typically doesn't have too many issues. I'd recommend chatting with some folks here if you want to move in.

Is there any specific reason to close this room all the time? Where should I find a printer during Thanksgiving??? Sauna is not working, elevator is not working…can we have at least an access to the printer?!

My overall experience was great! This apartment had everything I needed for the time I lived here. The amenities could of been a little better if the steam room and suna room was working properly. However, I enjoyed living in Plaza53.

Moving from CT and was looking to rent initially. I called the office a few times and no one picked up, which seemed odd and sends a message about availability to deal with residents or potential residents in my case. I came by to read these reviews. What seemed to be a great place on the web seems to have a variety of issues. Definitely will not be renting here.
