Some of the best Peruvian food I've had and my wife is Peruvian! We had ceviche which was incredible. We also had the chicharrone as an appetizer. Both were awesome. For dinner we had lomo Saltado which is made with marinated rib eye! Best I've had to date and a really amazing take on polo a la brasa which was crispy and full of flavor. For dessert we had coffee and alfrajores which again was the best I've had to date. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful bakery & cafe. Had breakfast here yesterday and the vegetable omelette was beyond delicious. The vegetables were finely shredded and it was cooked perfectly. Coffee is excellent with oat milk option, which I love. The bakery items I tried (which were many!) were all to die for. The Croissant was warm, buttery and flaky. The chocolate bread pudding was decadent, choclatey and delicious. The brown butter cookies are the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve literally ever had. I could basically eat there every day except that I would gain too much weight!! Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful and delicious food! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The baked goods were perfect for dessert or to take home. I highly recommend.

Stopped in during their soft opening for something to go. Outrageous chocolate chip (crispy and chocolatey) cookies that I want delivered on those days when you need the comfort! Buttery flaky croissant and shortbread filled with dulce de Leche - what a great addition to town. Came in for a delicious breakfast. The staff is attentive and it was great spending time with the owners Rue and Brian. The Chicha Morada was a great addition to breakfast in lieu of coffee

I had the Chimmichurri burger. I wish I took a photo before I dived in but from the photographic evidence it was INHALED. I went for a birthday brunch. All 6 plates of food were so flavorful and filling. Chef's kiss 🤌🏼. The place is BYOB which only adds to the cool vibe of the place. Dessert was worth it! We ordered almost everything they had and I wanted more.

As a Dominican-Peruvian, I was surprised to see a Dominican-Peruvian restaurant open up in Montclair! I had the pollo ala brasa which delivered on juicy chicken, crispy hot fries, and an awesome huancaina sauce! My sister got the vegetable omelette (bite taken in the picture) and the yuca fries were to die for. My mom got the mangu which was also very good! Tres leches cake was a nice sweet treat to bring home as well. Small menu but food is amazing! Would love to see them swap in some new dishes as the seasons change. Service and atmosphere was also 10/10. Definitely returning here with my friends to try other items off the menu :)

My husband and I just heard Lubelula opened and were so excited to try it for breakfast! This is their first weekend open. We arrived at around 8:30 and were able to sit down immediately. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The space was very bright and clean. The pastries in the front all looked delicious. We ordered a croissant, chocolate croissant, and alfajores cookie. I don’t believe all of the pastries were available today but we enjoyed the ones we tried! The croissants were warm and flaky. We also ordered the Mangu tres golpes and an egg white veggie omelette. The flavors were amazing and blended so well! I really enjoyed the crispy potatoes that came with the omelette too. We can’t wait to come back to try their lunch options and guava pastelito :)

The mangu 3 golpes dish can be improve. Mangu needs to have a softer consistency like purée, that can be achieved by adding some olive oil or butter and smash the plantains throughly as soon as plantains are boiled and hot. The onions that goes with the dish needs to be cooked for a little longer in that way the taste is sweeter and softer. The rest of the dish was great. Really Happy to have some Dominican food in a nice ambiance. The service was great! Welcome to the neighborhood Libélula!
