Dr Ibrahimi is the most talented dermatologist and I can’t recommend him highly enough! There is absolutely no other Dr. I would trust with my skin! Before finding Dr. Ibrahimi, my skin journey with was long, filled with painful procedures and stress… I developed acne scars after a sudden bout with acne. While I was able to clear up my cystic acne finding a doctor who had the expertise to treat to my scars was another story. I had no idea how challenging it would possibly be. I did my homework and I only sought out board certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons. I found out the hard way that in the world of scars and lasers, that is not enough as after 1.5 years of treatments, my scarring not only didn’t improve but actually got worse. After more research of doctors, I found Dr Ibrahimi and he advised me up front that the fraxel was the laser for my scarring. After a series of treatments, I can definitely say my scars have improved immensely to the point where they are barely visible. Aside from Dr. Ibrahimi’s talent, his great bedside manner and amazing staff have made my experience as a patient the best!

I followed Dr. Kim to her new practice with Connecticut Skin Institute because she is an excellent dermatologist who is very approachable and personable. Dr. Kim really values patient relationships and listens well. She offers solid, understandable explanations, and will discuss different options and timing to skin care. I think moving her practice to Connecticut Skin Institute will be a wonderful fit for both her and her patients--Dr. Kim can do what she loves in a patient-centered setting, and I can leave behind her prior practice which evolved into a corporate franchise with too much structure and "herding" for me.

I followed Dr. Sang Kim to this dermatology practice after she left a very large impersonal dermatology group. She is phenomenal! I have been seeing her for years, and would never trust anyone else! She is a caring and competent practitioner! I highly recommend her!

Dr. Ibrahimi came highly recommended from my husband’s dermatologist then my husband’s become his patient then me then my cousin. I can say that our family are his patients. He’s been taking care of our skin problems or even we need an advices about our skin. I’ve been seeing him for my skin problems and scar issues and i have great results from the laser. Dr. Omar Ibrahimi is not only skilled cosmetic/laser surgeon but he's also the most considerate, honest, and ethical Doctor. It isn’t easy to find Dr. like this professional but honestly. I’ve been visiting him more than 2 years and I have to say that his experience and his knowledge was very helpful and I’m so happy about it.

I brought my 92-year-old mother to Dr. Ibrahim because of a cancerous spot on her chin. We were in and out in no time, the surgery was quick and thorough. My mother’s face healed beautifully without any visible scarring. We are extremely satisfied with the doctor’s professionalism and skill.

I cannot speak more highly about this place, its ownership, and its staff. I have been going here for years for various treatments, and I can tell you as a small business owner that these folks really care about their customers and only perform services that they stand behind and believe in. I’m not an established patient of the practice…yet. Dr. Ibrahimi came highly recommended by my regular dermatologist. I called his office to get preliminary information because I was concerned that one specific laser treatment may exacerbate an underlying skin condition (and didn’t want to take time off from work for an appointment). Sinead, who answered the phone, and Solo, the Cosmetics Coordinator, took the time to speak with me, called me back on more than one occasion to give follow-up answers to questions, and showed photos of my skin to Dr. Ibrahimi - who also took the time to determine up front if I was a candidate for the specific laser treatment. I’m impressed by the time and attention they gave to a prospective patient. This isn’t the norm at most practices.
