I came around 5 for dinner. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was quiet and calm and perfect, and the waiter was incredibly kind and attentive. I forgot my backpack when I was there! The waiter noticed and tried to call to me when I left the restaurant, but I didn't hear. When I came back, they were keeping it safely in the office for me. I'm so grateful for the awesome people working here!

Very pleasant establishment with really good food. We stopped by one night to try the food and inquire about potentially having a baby shower there. We were both really happy with our burgers. They have a nice party room for private events.

I gave the service only four stars because we were a group of 5 but they automatically added a tip to our check which is only done for parties of 6 or more. Good thing I throughly looked over the check or I probably would have double tipped them. Pretty shady! Overall, the food was great, prices were fair, atmosphere was terrific and service was attentive. We'll be back...

Five stars for service! Sunday brunch steak was cooked the right medium rare and the eggs were perfectly poached. The crab cake sandwich was good. Beer and cocktails were $4 each during brunch hour.

Warm atmosphere and good food. Had the chicken marsala dinners whiich were tasty. One order served with the salad and the other with a cup of chicken gumbo. Loved the soup. Friendly and attentive service by our waitress, Karin. Nice layout of the restaurant with a couple seperate banquet rooms. Small, but comfortable bar area that has some booths. I thought the prices were a tad above average.

Fabolous place for food as everything is great on the menu . We tried the calamari, steak sandwich , burger and very very large chicken fingers. Everything was plentiful and well-cooked and large enough portions that we took food home .

Everything was delicious. Our waitress was awesome. We had a big group and they had no trouble accommodating us.

3 beers, 3 shots, and 3 bottled waters 68 dollars. I can see two soda guns. You're too lazy to push a button for water into a pint glass? Don't serve water after "x" hour? Okay bud. Owner or GM is serving shots for friends and takes a chair with my coat on it without any sort of acknowledgement. It's not like the other chairs on the bar top had coats. Place is not great. Would not recommend. Edit: "Hospatality" establishment responds with sarcasm. Assumes it was for NYE. This was a Saturday night. Day before NYE. sounds hospitable. I'll enjoy my water at home. Local tavern with amazing chef skills. Was surprised honestly at the quality of eats. Wings were meaty and crisp. Had the short rib goulash cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding from hostess to waitress.

My absolute favorite bar in the northern nj area! I love the laid- back environment and they honestly serve some of the best food around! I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal from here , ever. Some of my favorites are the chicken Parm, cauliflower tacos and the goulash. But what really makes Twin Doors the best is the people who work there; all of the servers and bartenders are so friendly and you always feel part of the family when you’re there! ( Friday and Saturday nights are also great with live music) 10/10 recommend!!

Food is usually amazing, but we had a large bar pie that wasn't. Band was great. Dip and chips were good.

Sunday late lunch,outdoor seating. Veal chop, bronzino with squid ink pasta was very good.

I've been dining at this establishment for decades - since it was Victor's Maywood Inn. Always great food and good service. They remodeled their interior a few years back and I must admit I preferred the old layout. Their prices have gotten a bit high as well and I couldn't hear myself think over the loud DJ last night. But, all in all, still a nice place to meet local friends and have some really delicious, expertly prepared entrées.

Amazing food and great service, first time there I ordered lobster risotto and it was to die for. This picture was a dinner night late summer but I have been back and ordered duck and tomahawk, we didn’t have time for pictures 🤣. And the reasonable prices, I’ll take that too. Definitely recommend it!

Love this place! Great food and great drinks! All of the staff that works there are friendly and kind! And they have the thinnest thin crust pizza I've ever seen! Highly recommend!

We went in and wasn't to busy. Service was quick. I had a bloody marry and it was perfect. My burger itself though was lacking some flavor and the bacon way to over cooked. The slaw on the side was good. Onion rings where good as well. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger but also says it was lacking some flavor. We would go back give twin door tavern another try.

This place was fine but the owner was a horrible person. Fire alarm went off and then they tried to charge our party to pay $500 because of an alarm. The owner was awful, rude and demeaning. He yelled at women and forcibly threatened us to pay the fire department bill. Horrible experience please avoid this place at all costs. They also quoted a certain $ per head for a party then when we paid they raised the quoted price by $5/person. Horrible place.

Great place in a real nice town. The pappardelle bolognese I had was crazy delicious. I knew I was hungry but I enjoyed every fork-spun mouthful of this delicate and really tasty dish. Finished it in F1 record time, hopefully without looking like a starving orphan.

Great ambiance, delicious seafood especially the Portuguese garlic shrimp. Our waiter Brian was excellent! I like how they have local beers on tap. Will definitely return.

Went on a first date here. Was not disappointed. Mozzarella sticks were REALLY good. Crispy and stringy, definitely unlike your run of the mill mozz sticks you would find elsewhere.

We have been long time customer to this tavern. We loved to eat there in summer days because they had outdoor table setting. My wife and I usually ordered seafood items from its Sunday brunch menu, and then enjoyed the scene of busy business center on west pleasant ave. The food was always well prepared. For my kids, they loved this tavern because their school hosted their graduation dinner there for their life-time memory.

Our waiter was excellent! I like how they have local beers on tap. Will definitely return.

The only issue I had is that bread was served under our food after I told our server my partner was gluten free. I deeply expressed that their food could not be cross-contaminated with any gluten products. We then ordered accordingly to fit their dietary restrictions. Also this isn't by choice, they have celiac disease and it doesn't take much gluten for them to have an immune reaction resulting in them feeling extremely ill and causing damage to the small intestine. Our server was apologetic and had the order fixed. I honestly believe it was just a busy night, but this happened to one of our app's and my partners main course. Both times it was something as simple as a toasted slice of bread the food lay on top of. Regardless we had a great time, with everything being fixed when the problems were presented. I'm just trying to shed some light, so maybe in the future if anyone else suffers like my partner does, then maybe just a chat with your chefs about double checking an order with dietary restrictions. I've worked as a server and I know how busy and hard the job gets with the rush of the night, just a little thought. But a big thanks to the chefs because the food was a 10 out of 10, delicious, hot and beautifully plated! :)

A great in town restaurant/tavern with excellent food, drinks, & service !! They can host sizeable parties or a cozy, quiet couples' brunch or dinner. Try it, you'll like it !!!.

NEW OWNERS!! I called last minute yesterday (VALENTINE’S DAY) for dinner and to see Tommy Walker. Way beyond what I expected! We don’t normally go out for days like this but wanted to see Tommy. We had the Valentines Day special for 2 and it was EXCELLENT! Filet Mignon, lobster tails, Baked potato, asparagus, strawberry shortcake FRESH CREAM and a bottle of Champagne for $130. All the food was great! Our server was sweet and it was a great night. The new owners are very nice and I wish them well and will be back!!

Place was horrible!! The air conditioner was on and everyone at our table was freezing! Blowing right on us, told the ( new owner) and he said no problem I’ll turn it off! I’ll save money lol did nothing, I mean it’s winter🥴. Service was horrible waited over an hour and a half for a burger! Let alone drinks!! And the prices were outrageous!! Oh and if you pay by credit card isn’t it only like 3 or 4 percent??? Got charged 9%. I’ll report tat because sometimes not right, beware of that. Believe me I’ve never did this review thing but felt it necessary. I mean, BAD!!!! And my party was in the back not the front and I talked to you personally about joy cold it was and the air was blowing right in our table! I never said it was warm, you confusing me with the room and people uo front. And j was charged 9 % on my credit card but unfortunately did not save it or I definitely would of showed you. But again we were in the back, j did ask you if you could turn down the air, you responded by telling me no problem I’ll turn it off , I’ll be saving money ( as you laughed) guess you didn’t notice us sitting there with our coats on. Oh and I did make reservations 2 days before. Now to be fair as we were leaving cause we couldn’t take it anymore, the front was hot!!!! But where we were was freezing In the back ! Ya might want to try 2 zone. Not all about the money.
