We visited this location for the 1st time a few weeks ago and haven't stopped talking about our experience.The food and service were phenomenal! Roti, doubles, curry... when bit into the channa (chick peas) in the doubles, I was home. We went to order and go, but we opted to dine in. Our host/server Patrick happened to be working alone at the time, but he managed to still provided us with superb service. He was warm, patient, courteous and respectful. He truly made us feel like welcomed guests. We definitely intend on visiting/ordering from GT in the near future. Thank you so much, Patrick.

The service is amazing, they are so warm and welcoming. And the food is just as amazing. It takes a little time but it comes out so fresh and hot. The food was delicious and their hospitality definitely made me a repeat customer. The only thing i regret is not getting more

Wow this was exactly what I was looking for. Delicious. I actually want more sauce so I can dip it.

I first gave this place good reviews. I need to update. They got real cheap. I am a guyanese from queens so I know what should be expected. I received a ton of white rice and no meat with my chicken curry. All bones and no gravy. What the hell. Being one of the few west indian take out in the area. Its embarrassing that you call yourself GT deli. I am GT and would never cheat people like that. I recommend going sonewhere else. So disappointed.

I went to this place for second time today. The customer service is 💯 they’re super nice and care about heir customers. The food is delicious🤤. I had boneless chicken curry and daal roti, loveddd it. Thank u sm and definitely going back. Highly recommended

The Saltfish & Bake was so yummy. I will be making a trip back in the near future. It was worth the trip.

No more trips to Jamaica NY to get my doubles on. While I'm used to the "taco" way of eating doubles, GT's West Indian makes them like a sandwich, which actually makes less of a mess. Curry goat was also good. I will be trying everything on the menu. I have 2 tips: 1) you can park in front of the store. And 2) call ahead if you want to skip the wait. This no frills Caribbean eatery is a home-run.

I'm just excited that there is a local Guyanese place that I can get certain products from my country,they are so friendly,didn't rate the food,because I haven't tried it,only had the plain roti which is good you can eat three times it's so big,i guess if you don't see a product that you like you can tell them

I’ve never been more disappointed with my Guyanese food 🤦🏾‍♀️ On my way to get my hair done I saw a place that says GT deals Immediately I got excited and also I was very hungry So after my hair appointment I took a lovely walk back there I got there no one responded to my call and also the little bell I kept on ringing It literally took someone almost 20 minutes to attend to me An older woman came out and she wasn’t even pleasant enough to respond to my greeting of hello However I over looked it I proceed to order my food which was Fried rice with baked chicken I waited about 15 minutes for my food I didn’t think anything of it maybe they had to prepare it However when my food came out I immediately inspected it and I noticed the rice looked extra swollen and I said to myself maybe looks can be deceiving I also made a purchase of chicken foot and plantain chips Immediately began to snack on the chips and they were both stale and tasteless I disregarded it given the fact not everyone knows to make these snacks to my liking However I went to front to eat the meal that I purchased and it wasn’t even what I had ordered It was a mixture of fried chicken and maybe pot roast chicken 🤷🏽‍♀️ Who knows I still didn’t think of anything The chicken was very stiff and salty Due to the fact I was very hungry I really tried to eat it but it didn’t taste good I went back to log a complaint The woman took my food and I tried to explain my disappointment However I was really over it so I left I hate to be this person to leave a negative review for my fellow Guyanese establishment but they need to do better with their food and customer service My hard earned money went down the drain for no reason and I am still hungry Next time I will do a tic toc and let it go viral so they can get their act together Again I am extremely disappointed

Unsalted Chana..doubles were not up to point. And I had called way way ahead for my order. They had completely forgotten it

Great food. Try the Doubles which are unbelievable, roti skin with curry (Curry Mango is something you never see anywhere) and get the tamarind based sauce. They have a large selections of unique sodas. The mother and daughter at the store were friendly. This place is better for take out or smaller group if dining in.

Was very happy walking in today to see a lot of Caribbean groceries in the restaurant. I got the roti, puri, pumpkin, spinach, and doubles. Also got 2 big foot. Every thing was really good.

I am West Indian and from the Caribbean and this was the worst curry chicken I ever ate. No seasoning and they didn’t wash the meat.The chicken was boiled in curry water and was burnt. Only Americans who never had good West Indian food will say it was delicious.

They were missing chadon beni when I went there for the doubles however, they were still pretty dang good. Will return for more doubles in the future.

Tried this place on a whim. Haven't had West Indian food in years. The aloo pie and doubles were awesome and better than I remembered them. The roti was also incredible. The flavor of the goat curry was top notch. My only gripe would be the amount for the cost was a little on the pricy side. The baked chicken was on the dry side but I recognize this may be a difference in how different cultures cook their poultry. Service was great. Would give a half star off but I'm rounding up.

Stopped by because I was looking for some nice vegetarian food. The Vegetable roti and Aloo Pies were delicious. Would definitely recommend. The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, over all stellar lunch experience

I went to this restaurant hoping to have some good Caribbean food but was sadly disappointed. The food was disgusting, it did not have any good flavor and the food was not cheap either. I don't know where the good reviews are coming from. Don't waste your money go somewhere else.

The doubles were better than in T&T. The bara was shaped to make them really easy to eat too. We bought roti skins as well. Fantastic.
