A great place to grab diverse food enjoy the ambiance and music, and the people were very kind and helpful. This time we stopped at @FatFowlnewyork is a comfort food very well done the black fried rice with the Mac and cheese is amazing. Also, their oxtail grilled cheese is TO DIE FOR (meaning that you must try it). Wait was a lot in line, almost 1 hour and 40 minutes on a Saturday evening, so be ready they are some hype. They have some seats available at the counter where you can enjoy the view while the cooking, but as recommendations, if you have a party of 2 or more, grab one is the table on the side while the others just order, there's drinks and beverage for selection but it will depend on the service, meaning that if they have a lot of costumers may not be possible so enjoy the fortes.

This place is a fantastic food court! 🍱 DeKalb Market Hall has an incredible selection of restaurants 🍽️, markets, and store! The variety is truly endless and very global: ramen 🍜, dumplings 🥟, pizza 🍕, ice cream 🍨, noodles, deli 🥯, jerk chicken 🍗, burger 🍔 joint, and so much more! And in addition to everything, they also have a Trader Joe's! 🛒 I wish I could come here more often!

Great variety of food options. Definitely something for everyone. From Jamaican, to Chinese, Japanese and Mexican. There’s pizza, ice cream and a couple of bars. There’s always Trader Joes if nothing pleases you’re appetite. There is a washroom and an elevator if the escalator isn’t working.

Getting to this place is easy by bus or subway. The location is clean and vibrant. There are numerous options for dining here. There are also opportunities to do one's shopping too.

Great food court. You can find whatever you like just spent a little bit more time than usual. I have found great coffee shop here. They have great italian coffee (but soon it will be even better - they will be served French roast coffee). They have great choices of different pastries and have great collection of macarons!! It better to buy box then individual macarons. And taste of macarons is delicious. Service very cool - friendly and quick. This coffee shop is closed to exalator closed to Fulton Street entrance. Enjoy 😊

One of my favorite things I did in Brooklyn during my trip. So many food options! It was a great vibe and the bar was cool, but packed with heaps of college students. The bartenders were extremely kind and fun to chat to.

Love this place. All things good food under one roof. Great to get a quick delicious bot when you are on downtown or between due diligence or meets. When it has to be special and yet without all the filters - has to be this place in the area. My absolute go to places are Katz (no huge lines) - not the OG loc but hey i can live with pastrami any time from Katz. Berliner Doner is another of my perennial favs. Forcella and Fat fowl are good too.

Instagram made us do it. We ate at Fat Fowl, grabbed some Jefe Tacos to go and had frozen drinks from Jefe Tacos and Brooklyn Wine Cellar. Nothing disappointed...... definitely want to return and try some other restaurants and drinks. Jefe Tacos....amazing! But if you can't stand heat tell them put that sauce on the side. Jefe drinks better price and boozy. Fat Fowl that oxtail grilled cheese was awesome. Loved their chicken it was so flavorful and the mac and cheese got a thumbs up.

This is in the basement before trader Joe's. I think there's so many options and it's so much fun. It's perfect for groups. There's so many options and variety. There's desserts, snacks, burgers, and so on. It's good for groups but also for a solo trip.

A bustling and vibrant market hall in NYC, with something for every taste and age. Located in a basement, it may feel a bit dark and not like a market hall, however, the choice of food stalls is fantastic, with about 40 vendors.

This should be a foodie’s prime stop on any trip to Brooklyn. Plenty of intriguing street food style booths from global cuisines. Take the time to walk the floor before making your choice. Look for the hidden areas with long queues waiting patiently. THOSE are the hidden gems.

A lot of options to eat. You can find to many dishes from different countries and a lot of appetizers. They have community areas to share with friends and family. Everything looks clean and the food was good.

Amazing experience and great food. Osteria Brooklyn was my food experience, and it was delicious. Shrimps were really fresh. The organic ginger ale hits! Penna Vodka was great. They cook it right in front of you. Super polite staff. My goal is to try a different restaurant next time but I might end up eating Osteria again! Lol Two dishes and two sodas totaled $61. It came with tiny squared Italian bread with sauce and cheese on it, delicious!

Dekalb Market Hall was really cool, but very dense and tightly packed. There’s a lot of food options, but I only got to try food from Katz Deli, Fat Fowl and Island Vibes. If I lived closer or worked in the area I’d definitely like to try out all the places one by one.

I decided to visit Trader Joe's at this location. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the store was. I found everything I went there to buy. There were many customers and the lines were quite long. Due to the professionalism of the cashiers, the lines moved extremely fast with no confusion. I will be visiting again, very soon!

I absolutely love everything here, especially Thank You, Come Again (my favorite Thai place). From donuts to pizza and pierogis, you’ll find something yummy.

This place is awesome to bring anyone in your family especially the restaurants lower level . The only con is they need more bright lighting because it makes it a bit warmer than you would think it is. Food is amazing and the variety is great! It's sad some stalls are closed . Easy and convenient to Traders Joe's too . An afternoon here is something to definitely think about.

Cute Square! Not too much space, but seemingly a hub for events and gatherings. Came to watch the annual lunar new year lion dance.

The food hall is worth the trip! There are so many delicious food options we were overwhelmed but in a good way. The shopping area on its own is in a great location and there are a few stores a large target and a movie theater

I had this place listed as one of the places to visit when I visit NY. The main reason was for the Crepe place inside this market. They did not disappoint. We tried the lychee crepe and it was delicious. I would have had more, but wanted to leave space for all the other places I wanted to try that day. There was a fried pizza restaurant inside the food hall that peeked my interest as well, but they weren’t going to open for another hour???? There is a good variety of restaurants to try. We had a hard time finding them, so be aware they are in the basement next to Trader Joe’s.

This is a great food mall in downtown Brooklyn. For folks out of town it's especially great because there are so many options in one place. And the options are varied and scrumptious! Way Above average. Choices include bakeries, pizza, seafood, burgers, pasta, Asian, Jamaican, etc. We ate at Fat Fowl and it was a 10. Check it out. We went on a Sunday, soon after they opened. It wasn't that crowded...yet.

Pre covid this place was amazing. I would come here every Thursday evening with a couple of friends. Grab some drinks and try all the different food places. My favorite is bunsmith but I think they are closed now. They do still have alot of variety to try.

Very cool market hall with different food vendors and drinks. I had a craft beer in Six Points and it was really good. Nice vibes.

Loove this place. Almost every stall has really good food and its a nice place to take friends or a date. Plus target, the movie theater and the shops on the first floor all make the visit worthwhile. I have easily brought 10+ people here.

I don't understand there are how many different venues in this so called market place and this place has the WORST BATHROOM. !!!! I almost don't don't which is better it or toss the Target restroom. Maybe they just want to take our money and have us go back to work/ home with the food.

  • 5/5 Pauli C. 10 months ago on Google
Diverse food hall selection but a little price-y.We tried the Okey Food Stall. It was cooked well and tasted home-y.

This is a nice place to go and find different types of foods and neat drinks. There's quite a bit of shops and areas where you can sit and eat or just chill. The atmosphere is great and theres never been any wild or crazy behavior that I know of or witnessed. The prices are reasonable and food is delicious.

Downtown Brooklyn's gem is no longer in the rough! This market hall has it all. Restaurants, eateries, clothing shops, and even movies! From Trader Joe's, and pop up boutiques, to Katz's and Target! 5 levels of shopping faves, and businesses, and even an NYU Dentistry. With all the options, you're guaranteed to enjoy yourself, either alone or in the company of others. All you need to do is take a trip downtown and spend some of your money! er, I mean time!!

There are a lot of places to eat, but I can't stress how much I loved Baby's Buns and Buckets. I had a grilled Honey Pork Mini Bun which wad amazing. I don't get why the Mini Bun, but whatever it was tasty to say the least. The Bun and greens/tomato garnish didn't last two bites. Thank goodness I had the foresight to order the sticky rice with it. I was able to savor all the leftover Honey Pork with the rice. I will be back there next time I'm in Brooklyn, that's for sure.

Had a pastrami sandwich and a diet Dr Brown's Diet Cream Soda. Not as good as Katz's on Houston, nonetheless excellent 👍🏻

This place is great bright and fun. Went with my gf twice this month and both times we had no idea what to eat since they have so many options lol we just settled to try a few random things like a donut, crepe & an empanada.

I love Dekalb Market! I'm lucky to live nearby and I go quite often. Fun colorful vibes with a great (sometimes even overwhelming) amount of food and drink selections. They keep adding to it - Six Point was added just recently and there's a cool lively bar now where I walked into what looked like a dancing night (salsa maybe.) My only complaint is that some of my favorite markets don't end up lasting very long and close up, but I guess that's the nature of a competitive food market.

  • 5/5 Steffi F. 1 year ago on Google
Super trendy underground food court. There is a Trader Joe’s grocery store and then lots of places where you can hang out and eat the delicious different foods from the stalls they have there. And there was even a brewery. You can taste food from famous New York KATZ to original DÖNER Kebab from Berlin and everything in between.

I absolutely love Dekalb market hall their are so many great food choices. My go to is the Arepa Lady and Eight turn crepe I absolutely love their ham and cheese creme and my daughter is a fiend for the Nutella and Strawberry one which has actual hazelnuts and a thick layer of Nutella unlike most crepe places I have been to. If you are in the neighborhood make sure to check it out. There is also plenty of seating scattered thru the market hall.
