I haven't been back to this place since I left the country but I must say the flavors do not disappoint. I have visited Japan and this Ramen spot definitely is still one of my top go to Ramen shop. I had the black ramen. It has a warm hearty soup with just the right noodle texture. Fresh and crisp vegetables and that charred pork is so tender but still has a good bite into it. Good serving size that will leave you satisfied. I'm glad this spot survived the pandemic.

The ramen tasted great specially for the reasonable price. The service was really nice too. Food came out quick and it was nice and warm. The inside is kind of small but it gave a Japan vibe and I liked everything about it. The parking could be rough though depending on the times you go, but pretty worth it.

I love Menya - they are my favorite ramen spot in NJ. I frequently order take out from them, but also dine in. I had their special release of lobster miso ramen at their Parker Ave location. It was delicious!! Everything tasted incredible which is no surprise as they always do a great job. I definitely recommend checking them out if you haven’t already! A decent ramen place. The restaurant is pretty small, so feels somewhat cramped inside. Parking is available in the back. Menu consists mostly Pork broth based Ramen. Few vegetarian options available as well. They also have some side dishes like Gyoza and rice bowls with beef or pork. The shrimp is my Shoyu Ramen was blend, no real flavor. The broth was also okay, the bamboo shoots or marinated egg didn’t really enhance the dish, they were also average. I have had better ones in other places. I liked the noodles in the ramen though. Food taste - 3/5 Food prep time - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Price - $$

Got the Tantanmen, overall a really robust flavor and surprisingly refreshing and had all the right notes of salty and savory without being too much of either. The gyoza were also pretty good, fried quite masterfully, and not overly oily. Everything came out quickly, server was very polite and attentive, and they even brought out some water along side our drinks since it was so hot. Great food + Great Service = a Great Time!

Summary - they can really use a face lift. Something is missing. Ramen is good but not amazing. Fried chicken is so so disappointing. Space - it’s a small place and fit about 16 people or so. It’s a place you get a quick bite and head your way. I was expecting a little more and I think they can. Food - ramen is good. Great flavor and soup base is good. Noodle is cook to perfection as ramen should have that bite feel. The fried chicken is just a disappointment. They are way too big. It’s like a patty. Cut them smaller and would be so much better. Happy to return if they change up a little. Service is quick. Not much wait but it wasn’t busy

We live nowhere near this spot but if we happen to be in NJ we make a point to slide through. The Tonkatsu ramen is amazing and they offer it with several upgrades. There is also a few other ramens which you will have to explore on your own as I always get the same dish. Along with an order of Gyoza. There can be a line but given the size of the menu and it’s not the kind of place where one lingers tables flip quickly. Enjoy!

This is literally THE perfect bowl of Ramen!!! The broth is amazingly flavorful, the noodles is so good and bouncy, the pork belly is beyond tender but still holds its shape! This is by far a must visit when you're around the area!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 6 stars The dumplings are also sooo delicious 😋

Traveled from Pompton Plains to try their Ramen as friends and family spoke highly of this place. I was not disappointed. Staff are pleasant and friendly. The food came quickly and smelled so good!!! The flavors are delicious and the Noodles are cooked perfectly. Worth the drive!!!

Very authentic Japanese needle house. We ordered the Gyoza, tonkotsu ramen and black ramen and they were all very good. The staff is super friendly and I recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a Japanese menya.

Tiny place but big flavor, broths are the best I’ve had. Don’t expect fancy ambience, feels like a traditional small japanese ramen shop. Parking can be challenging if busy.

Seriously good ramen and gyoza! Had fun chatting with the General Manager too. She was friendly and provided excellent service. We’ll be back for sure. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at this place! Looked like it had some awesome reviews and a good menu. I love ramen so it was the perfect spot. I got some pretty tasty ramen. Decent noodles and delicious egg. I wasn’t too big of a fan of all the veggies and found them to be overwhelming, but if you like veggies and a nice crunch this is the spot. The beef bowl and gyoza were also very tasty and done well. I didn’t wait long and we got a nice seat. The place was comfortable and warm. Definitely a solid ramen spot! I would definitely recommend this place. In a nice area and friendly staff!

This noodle house has been around a while. Wish we live in the area buy we only get to come here maybe once/twice a year. It's so good. Everything is good. Expect a line to get table on weekends. We came on weekday right when they open. Gyoza is juicy inside and crispy outside. The ramen broth is tasty, not salty. The char siu was tender and delicious. The noodles just perfect.

Here is the deal. You want Ramen in Fort Lee, this is the place to go. This is the original location, they have another one in Fort Lee near Bergen Blvd. but for some reason the Ramen (broth) is much better here then the other location. Its tiny, and hidden from the center of Palisades Ave in Fort Lee but if you want no-frills, just good Ramen then this the place to go. There's other Ramen shops in Fort Lee now, but I would probably say this may be the best one right now. Space is tight and not many tables. Metered parking is available on the street and on weekends the bank parking lot across the street is available as well.

Been going here for years. Many more ramen places has popped up and I did try them. However, I find myself comparing them all to Menya. The ramen broth is clean and tasty. Most other places has a very thick and oily taste. I usually order the Karakuchi ramen and a gyoza. Attentive staff with a traditional ramen house atmosphere. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

👍👍 I had never been to a revolving sushi bar before this one. What a great experience. Sushi was high quality, great variety to choose from. They had a-lot of interesting items I’d never encountered before. They did a great job of turning it into a game of how many plates you can eat, with a prize at t...
