The worst experience ever. This one star is too good for them. My boy friend and I regularly order their food and quite a lot of amount by UberEats. Today, he ordered his food and found a cockroach inside of the soup. It was literally floating inside and visible as disgusting as you can imagine. He called them and explained the situation and what they said was they will make it again and I need to pick it up??? And the manager is not there but we still haven't received any call or update. This is insanely horrible experience that we shouldn't have especially something for eating. We are waiting for the phone call from them and also will call and email NYC Health Department to inspect them regularly. Many of people consider their food as Korean healthy dining but this business is such garbage. Sorry to disgust you but see the photos I attached. The business doesn't care their sanity and customer experiences. Needed to shut down to protect the people who purely love Korea dishes. Manager? Or Owner? Please eat this everyday and you might get extra protein from cockroaches.

Located on the 2nd Floor right off of 32nd Street servicing Korea Town and the adjoining areas of Manhattan. Moderately clean facilities. Not a large menu. Staff is nice and the food comes out quickly. Typical Korean Cuisine. Price point is on par with most Korean restaurants so bring your Credit Cards. We will most likely be going back.

This Korean restaurant is well known for the Seolungtang, a traditional milky soup. In Korea, they have focused on only this Seolungtang (beef soup) and Bossam or Suyuk (steamed meat). However, here in Manhattan, they serve a wide range of typical K foods, such as Bibimbab, Kimchi jige, Pajeon, and Nangmyun (cold noodles).

In general the food was quite average. The liver served with the blood sausage set was too dry for me and the Bibimbap here would not be my favourite. Also, unfortunately when I visited a few times, many items were not available especially from the drinks list. The menu is not very big so you have relatively limited choices. Not too crowded and the price is ok.

Still the best traditional Korean restaurant in New York City. Their seolleongtang and yukgaejang are amazing, and kimchi is excellent.

Open 24/7! What else do you need? Good Korean food anytime! Late night munchies or hardy breakfast….always open. Cold days have a Bone soup. BBQ also available.

Food was okay but the service was quite terrible. We got here around 10:30 in the morning which was after they OPENED. But the guy at the desk didn't give us the table because the food was not yet ready to be served. It was so awkward and weird. Even though it might take some time to serve the customers, you still want to give them a table. Also, why open the restaurants and the food isn't ready to be served. Moreover, this guy server was extremely nosy. He kept telling us how we should seat.. which js totally up to customers.

Despite the strange rumor, this place still is pretty great for 설렁탕 and other k-dishes. I’m coming back. Level of service can be improved, but not terrible. Go here.

We got the bossam, galbitang, japchae, and bibim naengmyeon. The food is generally decent, but not as good as other Korean places nearby. The service is also incredibly slow.

I’ve been coming here for years now and it never disappoints me. While the food might not be the flashiest or most flavorful you’ll find in K-town I appreciate that this place is 24/7 and the food is really comforting (I used to work on 34th and on late nights when I was super tired I would come here). I recommend the soups, manju(?), and the beef tongue dish. Bills paid by card can be split up to 3 ways.

I hadn't ordered Seollung Tang (Ox bone soup) since I grew up. Lol. Because my mom run the restaurant so she always gave me this kind of bone soup due to my nutrition when I was a little kid. I was sick of this kind of soup. That is why I had never ordered the soup when I could buy the food that I want to eat!! Haha. Also, this kind of bone soup with meat could have bad smell easily if the restaurant cannot don't pay attention to the soup. BUT! Last month, my friends and I went to Maru. Then, we were hungry so my friend asked us to come here. She recommended this soup. Long story short, IT WAS SO GOOD!! so I came back here again!!!!! This restaurant made me love this soup!!! Especially, their Kimchi is dope. I got refills three times😂 The soup with Kimchi is heaven!!!! Anyway, I tried this at another Korean restaurant. It has some bad smell from the meat. I couldn't finish all of them. I haven't tried any other soups here except for Seollungtang. But their Seollungtang is legit. 🤟 My friend's Dolsot bibimbap was good, too! By the way, the rice was already in the soup. Personally, I don't prefer the rice in the soup. I will try to get them separately next time!

The beef bone soup is excellent, very nice. The mochi they serve with it is delicious as well and so if a lot of their other dishes. I don’t recommend the Galbi/short ribs though, very thin, and small portions for the price. The place is pricier than other places for sure

Good, delicious, and comforting food. Beautiful atmosphere 👌 but one of the staff members gave us a bad taste. He was really rude and we felt really pushed

Found a dead cockroach right there when I opened the food package. Called up the restaurant and all they told me were to come pick up the replacement food. Not that I would have wanted to eat this anymore, I had to come pick it up myself. I left my name and number for a callback from the manager but did not receive any. Never order here. Going to call up New York City Sanitation Department for inspection.

This place has been around forever and I find myself coming back every once in a while. Pretty staple food when it comes to nangmyeon and sullngtaang. Service and atmosphere decent but not amazing. Usually less crowded than other spots in ktown which is a big plus.

They have great seolleongtang, but other foods are near average, especially considering that it is a restaurant in Manhattan. Their kimchi and other basic stuff seemed to be great, but unfortunately, it seems that their quality decreases every time I visit. They still have a lot of room to dine in and is 24 hours open, but if you are looking for a better quality meal, you should go elsewhere.

It has been 16 years since I was there. Shame shame and embarrassment. Food is bad and no service but asking for tips . Sorry looking kimchi and doesn’t taste same like year’s ago.

Have you had knuckle tendons in your life? If you like those cartileges, come and try them out. I usually have them in hot soup but this plate is refreshing with vegetable garnishes.

It was great at the original location. And it's great here. Food and service is great.

Very home hearty seollongtangmyun! I do wish they separated the rice as it soaked the soup, so maybe ask about that before you order it! Their kimchi was really good!

The restaurant management really needs to look to staff properly. The server forgot to put in our order and told us after 45 mins we were waiting!!! Do not recommend! I would give zero stars if I could.

Kimchi is delicious. 도가니무침 can be for 3-4 people a little sweet not too spicy was okay!

Fantastic service, went at about 6pm and was nice and empty. Servers went above and beyond to take care of us- try and get Kianni to serve you, she’s great! Little bit hard to find, it’s on the 2nd floor above 5 senses.

Great ambiance, spacious seating support for large and smaller groups and some of the dishes are designed to share. Love Korean food!

Got bosam and the spicy jokbal. It was very mediocre- nothing really special. The jokbal was pretty disappointing compared to others i have tried but the bosam was pretty standard. Not a terrible experience but I wouldn’t come back nor recommend given the other options in the area.

Really great Korean food in Koreatown NYC! Great portion sizes, nice atmosphere, and plenty of seating so we were able to just walk in and get seated around lunchtime. Great food including delicious soups to warm up on a cold day, plenty of foods to split with friends, and great menu descriptions for those less familiar with Korean dishes.

Nice spot with 24/7 food options. I stopped here on my way out of town after staying in NYC over a long weekend. It was pretty early in the morning and a small group was leaving the after after after party get together. Food was solid Korean fare and friendly staff.

Honestly I came here before last time and loved the dish with cheese and fried rice, but this time I believe their menu changed. It incorporated kimchi and it kind of offset the entire meal as we already had kimchi on the side too. I would have just preferred fried rice and cheese with kimchi on the side next time.

The food is great. I Definitely loved it. It came out perfectly delicious. BUT the waiters need to be more attentive on what the customer need and ask for. I would gave it a 5 stars.. But maybe he is new and I will come back next time to determine if I was right on my perspective on this.

Restorative seolongtang. A Korean specialty that is both good and does marvel if you are hungover ;)

I stumbled onto this and it was a GEM. It’s on the second floor with a cute view of the street. The food was really good. Would 100% recommend

I try to come here every time I'm in Manhattan. The sullung tang is the best here. The kimchi and radish is also the best.

Food - great Service - below expectation, but tolerable Food quality outweighs service for me.
