*Support Black-Owned Businesses* I have been putting off jumping back into working out since I have left the military. As a disabled veteran, it can be difficult to motivate myself to get into the things like exercise, etc. Last week I decided to go all in and I purchased the Vibranium membership (20 classes & 2 Guest Passes/mo) and went to my first class on Mar 10. As of Mar 15 I had only not gone one day (rest is important)! When you enter Harlem Cycle, you walk right into a cozy waiting area and shop that has water bottles, Beyonce-themed candles, healthy snacks, and more! The staff are incredibly kind and make a great effort to remember who you are. All of the items for sale are incredibly reasonable in price for the quality that you get. The workouts take you to the club, if the club happens to be up some very steep hills. I have now had 4 different people's classes and each one brings its own vibe, but that vibe is always a bop. As someone who /hates/ going to the gym because of the monotony, I really enjoy that I can get lost in the music and vibe while getting enthusiastic encouragement to push myself. Another nice thing is that there is no skill level requirement. The staff will help you set up your bike, and will constantly encourage you to listen to your body on how hard to push yourself. If you were wondering if you should give it a go, this is an excellent place to get your feet wet. I'm hooked and will likely be going 5x a week for the foreseeable future!

Amazing classes, friendly staff and highly energetic coaches! I love it that this gym is in my area and beats the commuting - no excuse for not working out. Staff greets you with a smile, personalized attention and help you set your bike if needed. Classes start and end on time. I love that the coaches are not overly pushing you to go the extra mile; it reminds me of when I learned about yoga and its #1 rule - honor your body and listen to it - that’s the mantra you hear from the coaches whether you need to be gentle with yourself or go for a challenge. The music selection is well put according to the theme of the class. Everyone follows proper covid etiquette. I may have found my next-to-home gym!

It was a nice place just felt that the cycling could’ve been more intense harder and comparing it to other cycle bars that I went to it was OK

I just signed up to Harlem Cycle 2 weeks ago. I have attended classes at both locations. They have been the best classes I've experienced in spinning in a while. So energetic, the teachers and staff members are so nice and welcoming and will help you with anything you need. I really appreciate how clean each facility is. The studios and the bathroom as well as showers are impeccable, and every single bike is cleaned and disinfected after each class and each use. I love how they also offer classes online. If you're thinking of joining, stop thinking and join already. Best decision you will make this year for your fitness journey.

I love Harlem cycle! I previously took classes at their 138th street location and now am taking classes on 125th. The new studio is so easy to access, clean, and the staff are amazing! The classes are hard but in the best way!

As a newcomer to indoor cycling, I was nervous going in but everyone at Harlem Cycle (instructors and other cyclists) are SO welcoming and positive. I’ve enjoyed every class that I’ve taken so far and always feel better coming out than I did going in. I’m actually excited to get up early and get to class because it’s so much fun. If you’re looking for an effective, positive, joyful place to get some movement in, come to Harlem Cycle.

On my journey to get back into fitness post-pandemic, I decided to give Harlem Cycle a try via a trial pass (love that they offer this option btw!) and planned to see where things would go from there. Halfway through my first class, I knew I'd be committing to a membership lol. Aside from the friendly, vibey, welcoming, serene environment, the classes will push you to be your best, and know that whatever your best that day is more than good enough. The teachers are very kind and intentional in the type of class culture they create and that makes it so that everyone is welcomed and valued for the entire duration of class. In a space that can sometimes feel vulnerable for most, Harlem Cycle does a good job of making you feel welcome from the time you walk in the front door and are greeted by the very welcoming/inviting receptionist. They maintain a very clean space physically and energetically and it definitely transfers to us clients because there is a certain camaraderie and support that is shared even amongst despite being complete strangers. Not to mention, they keep things fresh with little Easter eggs (no pun intended lol) that makes coming to class exciting and anticipatory. I've tried multiple teachers at the 138th location and I love them all the same! I am so happy that I tried that one class and found a new space to spend my time while burning some steam. I 100% recommend joining or even stopping by to try a class! My next goal is to bring friends and family in to ride with me. It really is that great here.

HC has been such a friendly and fun environment to better my mental and physical health. It’s unique that Harlem has community-centered spin classes and I’m really glad to be a part of it. HC is part of my weekly routine and I always look forward to seeing the staff and instructors. I appreciate that each instructor has their own style for each class (the music is also phenomenal) and it doesn’t feel like a competitive cult where you end up injuring yourself or excluding different levels of fitness. Thank you HC for giving the community a place to challenge and take care of ourselves!

This review is long overdue! I've been going to classes at Harlem Cycle since February of this year and love them because the instructors are so friendly and engaging! The instructors also remember you and your progress, which I find very motivating! I appreciate the variety of classes they offer such as combined classes with cycling and weights! I'd say my favorite class is Harlem Sculpt because it’s primarily focused on lifting weights. I’ve found the instructors are very mindful of their students and are happy to help you improve your form and make modifications to exercises when necessary! The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes me look forward to coming to class! Lastly, I love that they organize community events like bike rides and the fall hike!

Harlem cycle is an amazing place! The staff is great and welcoming. They welcome new comers and support them to get the best experience at the studio. Strongly recommend it! Only con I see is that you can schedule more than 2 weeks in advance.

I loooove Harlem Cycle! I was always very nervous about group fitness classes and preferred to get my cardio in at the gym alone. A friend convinced me to go with him to try doing a cycling class and I was hooked. Everyone is so welcoming and the classes are small enough where I don’t feel super overwhelmed, just supported and rooted for. Now I go about 4-5 days a week and it’s my favorite way to exercise!

I have enjoyed every cycling class I have taken here so far. Each time was with a different instructor and they are all great. All the staff are cheerful and kind. The space is always clean and smells great. I really appreciate their COVID related rules.

Harlem Cycle is a wonderful intimate studio & community. The instructors are friendly, energetic & well-prepared. Shoutout to Tammeca’s Saturday Soca Sensation ride which was my intro to the studio & is one of my favorite classes, Teela & Shelina’s rides are also strong. Looking forward to more classes, meeting more instructors & the 125th location opening!

Every class I’ve attended is an amazing workout! All of the instructors are knowledgeable, motivating, energetic, and they each bring their own unique style. I feel supported and pushed during each session. I would recommend Harlem Cycle to anyone looking to have fun getting a great workout.

I am obsessed with Harlem Cycle. Two months ago I took my first ever cycling class with Tammeca and have been hooked ever since. The team is so welcoming and encouraging. It’s a great workout and definitely doable for all levels. I have bright family and friends with me and cannot say enough good things!

I’ve dreaded exercising and visiting the gym in the past. Cycling at Harlem Cycle has been the best exercise experience I’ve had. Everyone is extremely friendly and encouraging. I can truly say my health and confidence have improved since cycling at this special place!

I'm absolutely obsessed with Harlem Cycle. I recently discovered this hidden gem and I couldn't be happier that such place exists in the daily NY hustle. The team is AMAZING, they bring tons of positive energy and motivation on the classes, the studios are EXTREMELY clean (clean towels for each member, water fountain available, fresh air, etc.) This is literally the only fitness studio that I've been to that doesn't have the "odor of sweat". I got myself a package (and gear) from them and looking forward to my next ride!
