My husband and I were interested to try the pizza here after seeing their 8.1 rating from Barstool Sports one bite review. We found a parking spot on the street and the area was not too busy around noon on a Friday. The employees were very helpful and friendly. We ordered a small 14 inch pie and the crust was crispy and the sauce and cheese were tasty. I noticed how the workers treat everyone very kindly and the regulars are like family. Try the honey latte. It's so good.

This was an absolute pleasant surprise. The spot is cozy and inviting. The staff was friendly and made you feel at home. The final and best touch of all, was the food. It was delicious. We had a Grilled Chicken Panini and Cauliflower crusted Pizza. We enjoyed both very much. This quickly became one of our favorites.

Unexpectedly good pizza! Always passed by this place until a friend said it was good. I tried the Spicy Honey and the Buffalo Chicken. The Spicy Honey is good but not my favorite. Maybe a slice is good. After that it gets too cloying. The Buffalo Chicken is where its at. Good quality chicken and the buffalo sauce pairs well with the base pizza. I recommend this one!

Update! Does not get old!! The pizza, hambueger, steak panini, meatball hero EVERYTHING here is AMAZING!! the staff is phenomenal! Thank you Aaron, Mike Angeliba & Sarah for always being such great hosts! 💗 Awesome place!! We've enjoyed their pizza as take out. LOVE their White Pizza drizzled with hot honey.. today we stopped in for a quick late lunch. We ordered the penne vodka. It was devoured before I had a chance to take a picture! Finished off with a wonderful cappuccino. Definitely recommend all to visit this wonderful spot!

BIG difference eating in and getting this pizza delivered!!! Pizza was fantastic when I stopped in on the recommendation of the local FB group; but then I ordered a pie delivered to work and was soggy, no crisp, dough was uneven, and all the toppings and sauce were placed in the middle. I contacted them about it and go no response.

So I work at the village two doors down and I decided to check this spot out since everyone at my job raves about how good the food is. I went and ordered the hot honey pizza and it was phenomenal. The taste was amazing , the service was impeccable and the staff really did an amazing job interacting with customers & being attentive. Urban tomato is by far the best pizza place in New Jersey…. I’ll even say they are better than most nyc pizza places. It’s fresh, tastes amazing and you don’t get that weird gross feeling after eating this. If I can give this place more than five stars I would. Definitely will be coming again !

My family loves the food, the owners, the service and the place. Pizza is great. Pasta is very good. There are a few solid tasty healthy options and you can finish it off with a good coffee. We highly recommend Urban Tomato!!!

Very good pizza spot! But my favorite was actually their pastas. The meatballs and the chicken parm were delicious. The Fungi slice was my favorite. Will try their Special pizza next time. I recommend it if you’re around

Cute place with a comfortable neighborhood vibe. Can't believe I haven't stopped by sooner! The eggplant side dish was 10/10 to die for and my partner especially enjoyed the Fungi pizza with shiitake mushrooms. Great place to bring a group of friends for a casual bite. We'll be back for the good prices, tasty food, and mostly because it's just around the corner!

It's very close to my house, so I saw it often while passing by, but I've never been to it, so I regretted why I didn't come until now. I ordered margherita pizza and penne pasta with additional meatballs, but the fresh basil on the pizza was so good that it was delicious , and pasta was perfect!

Absolutely in love with their gluten free Buffalo Chicken ranch cauliflower pizza 10/10! Asked for mushrooms, super fresh! Excellent truffle fries too. Made my first experience here a great one, Highly recommend.

Definitely order a fresh pizza when you visit! So good! Also ordered the spicy honey chicken which wasn't bad (no photo). We had expected them to be boneless wings but it was more like a katsu. The flavor was great but would've been better as wings.

Their pizzas are pretty okay but too thin. I ordered pepperoni and spicy honey bc my kids wanted it. Next time I'll be ordering what I want. Pepperoni pizza was too salty and greasy for my taste. Spicy honey was good. The pizza was so thin that the middle part didn't hold and fell apart.

This area has a lot of great pizza options and you can’t really go wrong with the mom and pop shops. I’ve tried just about all of them and didn’t think the quality could get any better. Boy was I wrong. As a new yorker, I know what quality pizza is suppose to taste like and this place is BY FAR THE BEST IN TOWN. I’m more upset at myself for not discovering it sooner as the location is hard to notice as it’s mixed in with residential housing. We ordered a margarita and a cheese pie and they were to die for. I already knew the pizza would be great judging from the smell the restaurant had when I went to go pick it up. Wow, just wow. You won’t be disappointed not 1 bit. Would give it 10 starts if it were possible. DELICIOUS!!!!!!

I saw the review for Urban Tomato on Barstool Pizza Reviews on YouTube. They got a really high rating. So my son lives in Palisade park, we live in New Hampshire and 5 large cheese pies are coming to the Granite state. Can hardly wait. No good pizza up here. It looked like great pie on YouTube.
