The neighborhood is beautiful however are several issues with what is communicated and actually done. 1.We were offered a first floor apartment, applied for it got approved everything went well… then once we were given the keys and when to look for our unit it turned out to be a 3rd floor apartment. Definitely not convenient, especially with kids and simply not what we wanted. When we went to the office to let them know the mistake, they said there was nothing they could do since no other units were available at the moment. 2. When doing the application leasing agent explained that on the website the price was higher however the actual rate was different and once the lease was signed they would fix it to the correct price we had been given and therefore it would be honored. Turns out the lease was written at +$261.00 more, than what they said the price would be, and the prorated rent amount was based on that higher monthly rate instead of what we were told it would be. When we asked about this they said it was actually prorated at the rate offered, however I am not quite sure that is true anymore since the lease states the higher rate. 3. Due to the already 2 big mistakes made by admin of course we asked if they could do something, like a discount or something and they said no since they were already honoring the price the leasing agent told us instead of the actual rate. We are not at all thrilled about this issue, first of all the rate mistake is by no means our responsibility and therefore is not like they’re doing us a favor and secondly the fact that we were given something completely different then what we were offered is such an inconvenience for what our family was looking for and I’m sure for our neighbors as well, since like mentioned we do have a kid and main reason we wanted a first floor unit and of course also due to the moving furniture hassle up to the 3rd floor. Currently waiting for them to send us the updated lease with correct monthly rent rate in order to avoid any further inconveniences. Honestly quite a disappointment and it’s been barely the 1st day of an entire year 😏

Great location though and it is a growing area. Traffic is difficult, but the apartments are nice, although a smidgen noisy depending on your neighbors. Plenty of restaurants. Close to everything really. The apartment community is clean and nice. A bit expensive, but you do get what you pay for. Will say management is quick to enforce the most ridiculous rules, while turning their heads to other more important issues. Their lack of concern is evident in my experience. May not be the same for all, but definitely was for me. Would never live there again if the same management is in charge.

Tenant since November 2020. I lived in building 9000 on floor 3. Problems with roaches since January - i clean and mop weekly, have pest control test apartment every Monday and close all drains and they still get in. The big ones. A nice community, just unfortunate that these nasty crits ruin the peace at home. Also, management has changed twice since moving in. Make your decision based on information given. ---------------------- ---------------------- (Old review w/ 3rd management team) ROACH INFESTATION My review earlier mentioned the trouble I've had with large roaches here since January. I live in building 9000 and am convinced management does a poor job to treat the buildings. I've clogged every kitchen/ bathroom hole and source of water, clean weekly, have pest control treat biweekly and these guys still find a way in. It is possible to not have roaches in your apartment unit - that was the case for me in 2018 in south GA where bugs are much worse. Move here at your own expense. Like another tenant mentioned, management has changed - they want you to move in for your money but do little to care for your as a resident.

I attempted to rent here but changed my mind because I had a bad feeling about the community. They will only hold an apartment for a day or two, but God forbid you pay the fees and deposits and expect a prompt refund. They won't hold an apartment but they think it's fine to take a month to give your money back. Drive around this place before you decide. I was attracted to polished concrete floors but I think the fact that not a single apartment on the first floor can leave their blinds open might give you an idea of the lack of privacy you have there not to mention their shady business practices.

Where do I begin!? There are many issues with this facility but I will speak on the most pressing. My washer and dryer was down for 4 MONTHS, the front office and maintenance constantly lied to me about fixing and or replacing the washer and dryer. To make matters worse they continued to charge me the washer and dryer fee each month while I had to do laundry at a local laundromat for myself, wife and daughter. “Miraculously” they replaced the washer and dryer a week before my move out date. The office manager even went as far as calling the police on me after I visited the front office asking for a resolution. She told the police I was belligerent and cursed everyone, which was a complete lie, she should have been arrested for putting my career and reputation in jeopardy. I escalated all concerns to the corporate office and was completely ignored. My vehicle was stolen within a few weeks of living there, which isn’t the facilities’ fault but there definitely should be camera surveillance around the buildings, and that may have helped resolve my case sooner than later. So if you do decide to ignore this review at least do not settle to live in building 14000..

I am certain they gave incentives for reviews. Those excessive number of reviews with 5-star ratings is misleading because this place is not 5 star worthy. I lived here for years. It is slowly but surely diminishing as far as quality and the staff is incompetent and disrespectful. The SURROUNDING businesses is nice, however, these apartments are NOT. The staff has falsified documents on my lease because they failed to do their job correctly, and tried to cover it up. There is no sense of safety and a complete disregard for the living conditions of its tenants. For as long as I have lived here, I never had my vent replaced. I have had high value items stolen while living at these apartments (one was a vehicle) and both items were secured. So while the area may appeal to be safe and pretty, it is not. The staff did absolutely nothing to assist or made me feel at ease. People speed and drive recklessly throughout the neighborhood and the pool is always overwhelmed with non-residents. The apartments are tiny and lacks storage space, and they wreak of marijuana constantly coming through the vents. The trash compactor lacks the capacity for the number of the tenants, therefore, it is always overfilled or piled onto the concrete surrounding it. Dog park is a mine field with pet waste. In addition, I have found pet poop just sitting inside the middle of the gym. For the price you pay, it is not worth it. I am not the type of tenant to complain or cause problems but do what you want with this information, whatever you decide. I hope your time here is better than my experience.

Although there are so many awful reviews, Parks at Nexton is an amazing community. The ladies in the office are always so helpful, they have been changing so many great things about the apartments including the landscape, gym, redoing the pool table for better enjoyment. It’s the little things that make me realize they are doing their best. These are the cleanest, nicest apartments I have ever stayed in. The location is phenomenal, walking distance to several shops, eateries, and even… the grocery store!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place, I don’t plan on going anywhere for a while!

Was going to rent with them a couple of years ago but decided to back out before actually signing anything, due to many reviews stating just how terrible this place really was. They demanded $323 from me as some kind of ransom despite nothing being finalized. Then when I finally reached out to them and asked to know why I was being charged for a lease I never signed they cut all communication and send it to collections. Don’t ever rent from these people. If I could give negative stars for all of the trouble they have caused me, I gladly would.

Trash a$$ apartment complex! They over charge due to the area! Not worth $1200 for a studio. I lived there and had to battle with roaches. The staff is incompetent and don’t return phone calls, nor emails. Do yourself a favor go to the apartment complex down the street because this one isn’t a good one!

This place is a rip off. If you have the money to live here you have the money to live somewhere else. First off, there’s a camp of homeless people in the park across from the complex. Numerous people including myself have had items stolen from them. The staff in the office have absolutely nothing to do with it and blame the city for the lack of control. You will also hear every single noise from the city and the interstate. Not only that but they charge you for services like valet trash that never works and pest control that never shows up. They get the cheapest appliances they can and take weeks to replace even important things like your fridge, washer, and AC. they can’t keep consistent staff and they are rude and passive aggressive when you bring up any issues. Theft is rampant, people speed through here all the time blasting loud music. This place sucks and for them to bill themselves as a luxury apartment complex, it’s a stretch

I have lived at Parks for over 3 years now, and while when I first got here the management team was not the best. As of the past year to year and a half things have been great. The maintenance guys are great at their jobs and very friendly, and Michelle and the office crew get us everything we need when we need it! Best apartment complex I have lived in.

Been here since Nov. 2021. The Parks at Nexton seems like a posh, luxurious apartment complex, but it's really not. Their models are so well-done that it feels luxurious. 1. The leasing office has had a high turn over rate and management has changed a few times already. 2. Customer service has slightly improved, they're starting to answer the phone in the leasing office and follow up on service orders. 3. The pool is so small for as big as this complex is. 4. The clubhouse's amenities are sub-par: pool table is old, missing a cueball, all 3 pool sticks are broken, and there is no cable tv, so if you want to watch tv, you can only sign in to your Hulu or Netflix account! 5. There is a dog park, but there's no playground for kids. 6. Our breezeway is so dirty; there has been sticky residue from spillage on the ground right by our front door from since when we moved in. 7. Lastly, the walls and ceilings are PAPER THIN! You can hear people just talking outside; and I can hear our neighbors upstairs when they flush their toilet! I suggest spend a little extra and go to a different apartment complex!

The staff with this community is fantastic. It is tough to leave reviews for most property management's, but I feel this one deserves a shout out! It just seems they overall CARE. That is definetely something that cannot be taught. Maintenance is great! The staff, great! My experience with Geoffrey has been very pleasant. He is prompt to assist with all my questions & just easy to speak to. He is very understanding & helpful! I hope this staff is here to stay because they all make time much more enjoyable here. Thankyou!

Just moved in and already loving it. The place is gorgeous and my leasing agent, Kailynn Driggers, is AMAZING. She has helped me so much start-to-finish through the leasing process, promptly answers my questions, checked in on me the day after moving in, and is just a wonderful human in general. Oh also - DOGS. So many great paths and trails for walking my dog and I love seeing all the other dogs in this community. Cuteness 24/7/365 🐶🐶 So happy to call Parks at Nexton “home”.

I love it here! It’s a great location… and the layouts are perfect! Something for everyone. The apartments are quiet…and everyone is very friendly. The grounds are well taken care of and certainly I am enjoying being a resident of Parks @ Nexton!

The office staff are AMAZING and made my whole process living at Parks at Nexton really enjoyable. They keep us up to date with what’s happening in the community and offer social events too! They are super quick to handle any enquiries that I have had.

As a potential future tenant, Geoffrey was absolutely amazing at assisting us and providing us with information and a tour. The office was very busy with potential customers, and he was kind and welcomed everyone and showed them where they could wait, and got to everyone as soon as he could. We were able to see a few units, and the model. Although we did not end up moving in to this complex because we found another apartment that better suited our needs and was a little larger for a lower price, this was definitely at the top of our list and we will keep them in mind for future needs and recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks for being kind, and professional!

The office staff was great! Very friendly and helpful to help our son get his first apartment. This seems to be a great place for upcoming young adults with a nice town center within walking distance.

I visited Parks at Next on midmorning on Monday July 2nd. I was greeted by Kaitlyn and another agent. Kaitlyn asked some questions to narrow the search and showed me various one and two bedroom floor plans that were due to be available soon. We settled on a two bedroom that was very reasonable and spacious with quality feature. Kaitlyn pointed out the ceiling fans which are not always offered in standard apartment. The two bedrooms were separated on opposite corners and each had master bed/bath features. We then looked at the amenities which were well maintained. The best selling point of Parks is the walking access to restaurants and shops. Also so close to 26. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
