The configuration of the store requires wandering around for an excessive amount of time to find desired items. There is no theme and items are randomly placed around the store. For a person with OCD this is kryptonite so to speak. Once found, everything is fine. Check out clerks are personable.

The store was quite understaffed. I waited about 40 minutes to get to talk to someone about my custom frame job. And their was only one other person getting a frame fitted.

I came here a few days ago to get some canvases and oil paints as I have became more of an avid painter. I was greeted by a friendly woman by the name ‘Andrea’. She helped me sign up to get some rewards as I come here fairly often and explained the benefits of it doing that so. She’s very patient and kind. The store is also quite small, but organized fairly well. They have numerous of options such as yarn, glitter, paints, and anything that you can think of that resembles arts and crafts. The workers around the store are also super friendly and approachable too. I will be going to this location here on out for anything that I need! :) Keep up the good work team!

A nice upgrade of the original space. I guess they took over the next door spot which was Dollar Tree and made a larger store. Parking has a few spots reserved for curbside pickup. Inside was super clean and organized 👌. Store associates were helpful and nice. I'll even add that the manager had friendly interactions with the workers there while I was shopping. Which was nice to hear because it added to the "positive vibes" shopping experience. 🛍

Came in to this location today to grab a few things quickly and found this store was pretty clean and organized. I was greeted by a sweet lady named Andrea. I asked her where to find the things I was looking for and she was so kind to tell me exactly where they were located. Even from afar I can hear her and saw her greeting people warmly and in smiles. There were enough employees in the aisles to help out customers which is so refreshing. It's very helpful to have workers around for questions (which I had) and each one of them I encountered today were extremely helpful, available, eager to help and quite knowledgeable. Very happy with my trip to this store today.

I had no problem finding what I needed but the cashier had an attitude, rude, condescending and had the worst customer service. I asked to speak to the manager she told me she was the manger. I asked what is the number to get in contact with the manger over her. Of course she didn’t want to give it to me but had the nerve to say Google it! Is this the type of people they hire!! smh. Be aware of this women

Don't do online pick up. They will mark your order picked up even if you don't pick it up. That's just theft on their part. You'll have to jump through hoops to get a refund.

they have what was looking for ..I was looking for something and I ask a worker and she stop what she was doing and help me look for what I need and the clerk so nice and very good attitude

Rude employees the teen girl who was the clerk was the rudest person ever. I had to wait several minutes for them to correct the total. It was buy one get one 50% off and they messed up where the put it but still gave me an attitude.

Came when they were ready to close shop. Big mistake. I get it though. They want to go home. So the lack of support I got may have been better had I not come at that time

Great craft store especially when on sale. Some associates rudely say no to competitor's coupons so I just stopped asking. Many times the store shelves are completely empty.

My first visit to San Leandro Michaels. Cindy in the framing department is the absolute best! She was extremely accommodating especially because she had two customers needing help simultaneously. She made both of us feel important and she handled both of us with five star service. We both left the store with a big smile on her face and a happy purchase. The two for the price of one frames beat there 20% off coupon. Don't miss this opportunity.

I use to be intimated by Michaels but I have grown to love it. Since starting my business they have been my go to for craft items. They are pretty reasonably priced and usually have a really good sale or coupons. The staff here is always nice and patient with me even if I don't know exactly what I'm looking for. Lol.. Parking can be a hassle depending on what time you go because of the bank next door and other popular stores in the plaza. I prefer to go later in the evening when the crowd dies down. Great for art supplies but employees got attitudes, not happy with the customer service. I had asked someone where the hot glue sticks were and the employe said “over there” nodding his head, I responded saying “idk where over there is” I just wish he could’ve given me a aisle #.

This Michael's location is nice and the staff is very friendly but, we used to depend on their framing services because they were very good and the prices were always very reasonable... The prices are still OK but the quality is not as good as it once was... Sad ☹️

I have no complaints about this store. The people so far have been friendly and helpful and I've been able to either get items I like on sale or use a coupon which is always nice.
