My home away from home! I do both acting and tech for both PYT and Upstage Theater, both of which perform in here. Beautiful building with courteous staff and excellent seating. The sound and light boards are the newest technology and both stages are very professional. This isn’t some clunky community theater; this is a place where you experience the best of entertainment and then talk about it for days afterward.

This is an excellent venue for theater. Comfortable seats. Lots of street parking for evening shows and a parking garage. Also, great restaurants nearby! It was my first time at Mountain View Performing Arts Center. Highly recommend!

This is a difficult venue for people with mobility limitations. The floor is dramatically uneven in places. Hand rails are not convenient. The exit signs are confusing, and finding the rest rooms is quite a challenge.

Love this place for it's various events. Recently attended the German Holiday market here. Some booths were very interesting. Although there were several other stalls that were not German

Saw the PYT performance of Peter Pan. The site was good and the kids did really well, but the sound was dreadfully awful. I'm not sure if this was the theater's fault or the volunteer staff not knowing how to work the equipment. 5 star performance. Minus one for technical difficulties :/

Solid performance space. The black box theater is great for small productions. However, the 3/4 thrust stage there makes it hard to adapt productions without completely restaging them. Staff and crew are all helpful and gracious

A professional local venue, every seat is a good one and not far from the stage. We subscribe to Theatreworks which brings contemporary and creative stories to life. . . . and plenty of indoor free parking!

Great entertainment live theater complex with easy free parking for this Smuin Ballet matine performance. A small cafe located in the lobby offers refreshments & snacks. The lobby spills out onto a large, open, sunny patio area easily accessed during intermissions. A few blocks up Castro are 4 blocks of restaurants with the street closed to cars & filled with outdoor tables for dining. Wonderful place for dinner following our matine performance. Felt like we were in Europe. Great gelato shop & a bookstore too!

Very well done performances. Sat in the balcony, 3rd row, center. Good seats to see the stage. Try a few performances. The seat prices are fair.

Hershey Felder Always put on a bang-up show. He is an excellent performer as a actor and a storyteller and a pianist you lost. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed his performance. If you can ever get to one of his performances you will be surely inspired.

I'm giving this 3 stars only due to we were a few minutes late to the show and the usher didn't want to give us the seats we paid for. I told her I paid for specific seats and she's like okay if you want to crawl over people. So what's the point in buying a ticket for a particular seet and then to seat you anywhere. She was rude. Also we bought ballet tickets thinking it was an adult ballet show when it was a children's ballet show. However the building was beautiful. Had it been another venue it would have been nice.

This is a gorgeous theater in walking distance of tons of amazing and varied local eateries. We appreciate the land acknowledgement they make before each show. The plays they choose are always well-acted and powerful.

Close free parking, for an easily accessible theatre. There are no bad seats within. An on-site cafe outside the venue is there to provide food and drink. There is no food or drink allowed in the theatre. The climate within is well maintained and comfortable. The restroom space could be larger but there were no stairs to contend with. Overall this is a great entertainment venue.
