The Home Depot at San Carlos has a good selection of products. The store is clean and well organized. There are plenty of free parking available. Download their App and you will be able to locate the product you are looking for in the store. I am removing one star as is always hard to get the help of their staff.

Looking for a great career opportunity the San Carlos, California (The Home Depot) store is a great place to work with benefits that are competitive with joining the U.S. Military without the same dangers. Store #0628 is a store filled with professional and talented associates. I know this because as an Armed Security Guard under contract at this location I see the greatest day in and day out. Join our team! Stop by the store and talk to Roxy or Alma in Human Resources Department at the store.

I never go to Home Depot. I went to pick up poinsettias for a friend because Home Depot was selling them for 1.98 each. I wasn’t able to complete the purchase because Home Depot doesn’t take Apple Pay. How is that possible? I stopped carrying a wallet since 2019 and now the DMV has an electronic drivers license so I really really don’t need a wallet with plastic things. This is the first time in 4 years that a store has not accepted Apple Pay in the Bay Area. When I travel I do carry cards in a wallet. That is when I travel internationally. Get with the plan Home Depot. This isn’t 1999. It’s 2023 almost 2024.

Employees don't know what They are doing or anything on the store. Not enough employees who have a knowledge. And you have to Pack your own stuff. Very sad, they are very good on their cell phone.

We come here a lot. Fairly standard as far as home hardware stores go. Plenty of options to choose from in terms of product selection. I will say that I don’t have the best luck looking for items that I need that are sold in-store, since I often need items that are not carried in stock (just my luck I suppose). When you get a staff member to help out, they are usually very friendly and helpful in my experience. But to be honest, good luck finding an actual person to help you - so I try to go in already knowing what I need and what isle & bay the item is located. Seems like it’s easier to get help from staff on a weekend but it’s also more crowded. Overall, I mostly have positive experiences going here (no counting my own ignorance when it comes to DIY projects - but that’s on me 😎).

I was looking for a 'water meter' for plants. I believe I asked '6' employees. The first checked her phone app and told me they have it , she just doesn't know where. The next two said somewhere in the front. The next two was with one who pointed at the other who claimed he had a customer and took off quickly while the other just pointed at the one who ran off and told me to follow him. Home Depot managing I will assume and probably safe too , that by the way the employees showed knowing nothing is a reflection in itself about the entirety of the management. Disappointing .

I was running somewhat late but a very nice store rep, Rosalinda, told me not to stress and to get what I needed which was a nice relief. Immediately someone asked me about help finding something and a super knowledgeable man, Glen, helped me gather the parts and give me tips for a DIY project and helped me get all the right pieces In probably 1/20th the amount of time it would have taken me originally! A++ super satisfied ps. Remember your cash or physical card, no Apple pay atm

Do not buy vegetables or fruit plants from here. I bought two raspberry that turned out to be blackberries and am battling getting rid of them even though I removed them a few months after planting. My poblano where actually shishitos, my shishitos where Fresno chili, habanero was something different just can't tell what. Anaheim peppers where jalapeno and my lemon cucumber where a long green cucumber. Over all only two items a blueberry and a jalapeno was right. I can understand a miserable here and there but this was a total waste of my money

Craig, one of the supervisors at the San Carlos HD, is OUTSTANDING! He was very helpful, knew the answers to all my complicated questions, offered solutions I hadn’t thought of and went out of his way to be sure I had all the details taken care of. Highly recommend shopping here.

Least professional and helpful customer service I've ever seen. Refuses to make up mistakes such as missing products forcing you to go to the store directly just to get the items you paid for. They mess up orders and when you call customer service for support they hang up on you or just outright argue with you over products you never received.
