The staff are always kind and professional whether it’s the marshal, those working in the pro-shop or the restaurant staff. The practice facilities are really good. Good driving range, and short game areas. The course as a whole is tough, but the front nine is where you can go much lower to set yourself up for the gauntlet that is the back nine. Even though it’s tougher, I actually enjoy the back more. It’s gorgeous up in the hills with views, more wildlife and less housing around. However, you’ll be dealing with a lot of elevation changes, shots that will require a great deal of accuracy and odd side hill lies. The summer can be too hot to play, unless you snag an early morning tee time, which is why I think from February through Spring or September to November are the best times to play weather wise. The price seems fine for week days but it’s getting a little pricy for weekends. Overall, it’s definitely worth a play.

Very beautiful course and first 9-holes was great and the last 9-holes are very challenging. Staff are great and facilities are well maintained.

Beautiful course with challenging setup throughout. Lots of elevated tee boxes. Greens were sneaky quick. Was a beautiful hot day. Pace was great started at 1150 and finished before 4. I usually walk but cart is highly recommended here. Especially if it's warm. This course used to be closed to only Alameda county residents from what I heard, so if you've never been I highly suggest playing here ! Payed 65$ a person with cart via golfnow

My nephew and his new bride celebrating their wedding day. Full bar with lots of choices. Ceremony setting couldn't be more perfect and the reception area was spacious and open door.

Enjoyable golf course. Having to play at 100F is no joke. Dehydrated with lots of water you prepare to drink. Challenging few holes and quite a forgiving course. Love the club house with great yummy food and drinks. Well maintain and love to come back again when weather is much more forgiving .

Course is in pretty good shape, fairways and greens were well maintained. Bunkers could use some fresh sand though (i found a few which why my comment here). Do wish the beverage cart was available though, got a little thirsty on the back nine.

I had the pleasure of having my wedding at the beautiful Callippe Preserve Golf Course. My husband and I worked with Morgan Chandler, their head of events, over the past year and I cannot rave more about the experience. When it comes to planning weddings, Callippe is a well oiled machine and will make the entire experience completely stress free!! Every question or concerned of mine was address immediately along the planning process and all of my requests were easily fulfilled. Callippe provides so much of what you need for a wedding-- the food, alcohol, tables, chairs, linens, arbor, floral, coordinator, BEAUTIFUL scenery, set up, etc. (All info is easily found on their website which makes it so easy! Including pricing) The food is not what you would expect from a golf course wedding. The food was INSANELY good. So many of my guests are still texting me saying it was the best wedding food they ever had!! For dinner We did the prime rib, chicken piccata, pesto pasta, garlic mash potatoes, green beans for dinner. DROOLING thinking back to it. The pricing of the whole Callippe experience is a STEAL. I couldn't believe what we got for what we paid for. I truly don't think there's a better venue out there. I could go on and on. I will always be incredibly thankful that I found this venue and will hold it close to my heart forever. Thank you to Morgan and Charissa for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!!!!

Very cool golf course located in a very residential area! The day I went, there were two tournaments going on and also a wedding. The staff is very welcoming and very helpful. I was there for the tournament. They immediately got me a golf cart and took me to our hole to set up our booth. Anytime we needed anything the staff was ready to help. It's a very scenic place with Mount Diablo prominently in the horizon. Very well kept course extremely green and fun. But you can't beat the scenic views!!

Nice layout, friendly staff. 17 is a bear... Well groomed and plenty of pretty scenery. The greens are typically true and sneaky quick on occasion. It's a good value for anyone in the Bay area! Hit 'em straight-

Scenery is beautiful. Enjoyed the front 9, but back was more challenging for a short hitter making it difficult to get over some hazards. Restaurant was great. Had breakfast before playing. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere!

This is a review for people who don’t golf. I like being outside, riding in the golf cart, and enjoying a good book. This is my review based off that: Golf carts: 7/10 I wished the screen was mounted up high and not so low. There was a glare on the screen often and it was in the way of the cup holders. 🤷‍♀️ Views: 9/10 super pretty, we played at sunset so it was lovely rolling hills, greenery and sunsets Course: 8/10? I dunno based off how annoyed my partner was half the time, it seemed semi-hard but not like super hard. I wish it was more spread out though, there were always people in front and back of us. Vibes: 9/10 this might not make people happy but as a gold cart passenger princess, I love this. Weekends mean there’s weddings happening and I could hear the DJ throughout the course; so that was awesome. Overall: 8/10

Hmm I wanna love it. Just not there for the price. $36 for two ppl to ride is meh, I’ll give them nice carts with Navi, so makes it better. Onto the course. Just to many dead spots on fairways and a couple greens. I expect that at certain courses or here and there but it was to often. The drought is real so I will give them the benefit. I hope to return one day but not at the going rate and conditions.

Great course but hard to ever enjoy a round of golf that takes SIX HOURS. Tees off 12:30 and finished after 6 PM. For $100 round, 6 hours is psychotic. Standing around waiting for every single shot. By the 3rd hole, we were waiting for the tee box, and two more groups had caught up already (4 total groups waiting to tee off). Absolutely atrocious and ruins the round. Won’t be back.

A couple of the tee boxes are extremely close to the adjacent fairway.. The terrain is absolutely formidable.. also, the last hole can get backed UP.. P.S. lots of "Tourist" 8.9/10

Friendly clubhouse staff. Beautiful course. Some holes are nice and wide open, but there are also some challenging holes needing a straight drive. The day I went, the rate of play was a little slow, but it was a Friday with several groups of college golfers walking in front of us. Doesn't take away from my rating, but we only got through 16 holes in 4.5 hours. I will definitely return to play. Also, the course has a wedding venue with beautiful views. (A wedding was set up when I started my round)
