My mom and i wanted to have a drink at this beautiful looking bar but the lady with red hair that was working behind the bar had such a horrible attitude no smile or anything so we left immediately. Service in a restaurant or bar should be your number 1 priority! This is not how you gain costumers.

Newton Bar is one of this long standing establishments in town with a long history and an amazing service. Definitely check them out when you are in town. But be aware this spot is really busy and you probably gotta wait or reserve a seat. The only negative is that they only let you reserve via email or by calling the place it would really be time for an upgrade so you could reserve a table via an online booking system like OpenTable or others. This would make reserving a table there easier.

Absolutely my favorite place in Berlin! I went here in July as part of my vacation and I just though about the nice time I had there! The staff was super nice, talked with them for a while which was nice because I was alone. It was a slow evening so they put on some music I liked (because they asked what kinds of music i listened to) super nice staff!! Almost would go back just for this bar. Only downside is the price (not suitable for students), but totally worth my time and money!

When walking by we decided to try and get an ealy meal here. My wife decided to ask if we could get a table and was overtly ignored by the wait staff. Very rude. I got the distict feeling they treated her this way because she is of Indian decent. It was a bad experience of what was otherwise a great trip to Berlin.

The music was really good but ruined by a barman who thought he was the next greatest dj and kept turning it up and down which was really annoying when you are trying to enjoy it or have a chat.

The only thing to remember is that it is a strictly cocktail bar so there are absolutely no snacks. They only had olives and dried meets that were pre-packaged. It would have been nice to order some snacks to accompany the cocktails. The staff was not the best, it was hard to get their attention even though it wasn’t too crowded and their attitude wasn’t the best. I would recommend it for a post-dinner cocktail.
