I do not know why this place seems like a very top rated tourist destination. The drink and music are good. We were at the window seats yet there is not much to see as it was facing to the zoo. If it was facing to skyscrapers, the view would be so much better. This is the reason I don’t why people are crazy about this place, like there is NO view lol. It was during covid so we waited for like an hour? The seats are also very close each other. Anyway, drinks are good. That is it. No need to wait an hour to come I think.

I had been to this bar after 2hrs standing in the queue in the cold weather but the waitress is really rude. I ordered coffee and tea because it was really cold outside (it was on the menu). The waitress was making fun of us saying why did you come to the bar to order coffee or tea. My friend felt really sad coming to a fancy bar to face such humiliation. An average Berlin bar with a gimmick that doesn't work. We saw an ad for this and it sounded really cool so we wanted to check it out while visiting Berlin. However it was not a great experience. The apps and drinks were ok. They sound fancy but honestly they're just alright. Typical big city: make it look and sound fancy but it's just average food. The cocktails were the highlight, that's for sure. The service was really bad though. We were able to find a seat quickly which was nice, and the server did come bring us menus fairly quickly, but it took a very long time for him to take our order. It also took a long time to get 4 cocktails as well. Our server didn't even deliver them, he was standing outside nearby and had someone else bring them. Not very personable. Finally there is the view, which is what they advertise. The Monkey exhibit is only visible on one side of the building. Unfortunately there were no seats on that side available and it only covers about 1/5tg off the seating space. Also on our visit there was nothing going on in the exhibit so there wasn't much of a view. Overall I would not recommend this bar. Go to one with nicer food and drinks and or a better view of the city. Berlin has a TON of better bars, restaurants, and clubs. This doesn't do enough nor have the quality to stand out.

Keep in mind that drinks are on the expensive side (€13–15), but we all agreed it was worth it, since they all tasted really good. Also consider that the zoo has no light at night, so if you want a good view of that side, you should come before it gets dark. And there was a line to enter the bar (about 10 mins), so one more reason to come early! However when I tried to come here this time an incredibly rude desk clerk answered my request to have a table with “you’re gonna have to wait at least 30 minutes” and smiled with a disapproving smile. If we’ve arrived at an earlier time we might’ve had a better experience, but for a Friday night out I’d recommend going somewhere else.

Perfect view over the park. The drinks are also delicious and worth the premium price. The side dishes from Neni are also perfect combination. Especially the Korean chicken. Unfortunate to read all complaints about the waiting time. They are open from 13h so you do not need to stay in line. Just do not come at peak times at night.

View was amazing! Great vibe but very busy...Good wine/beer at reasonable prices - definitely worth a visit...

Really cool rooftop bar with amazing view on the Berlin Zoo. However, you need to consider queuing for a bit, since bar is pretty busy. For this reason, you may be seated by waiters not necessarily in the outdoor, pretty area but inside. I would recommend booking the table before.

It was a wonderful experience. Specially by the sunset. We had nice drinks and finger food, having the zoo ahead of us. It was a pretty view.

Very crowded with loud music. A place to enjoy the vibe, not to talk. Staffs were nice, the drinks were okay. If you sit outside, there‘re people always coming to take pics of the skyline and block your view. Would be better visiting during the daytime - relaxed with good views. (Plus most of the positive reviews are from the people who visited at afternoon.)

I went to this place on a weekday. We didn’t have to wait for a long time like on a weekend. Still, the place was so crowded. They have good cocktails and an amazing city view from the top. But I don’t think the place matches the hype.

Fantastic cocktails, great atmosphere and spectacular view over the zoo and city. Cocktails slightly on the pricey side at around 14 euros each but they were lovely and well made. Absolutely would return here.

It’s always busy here, but the view is pretty nice. We found out this last time (April 2023) that you can also order a couple of smaller dishes from NENI next door (hummus trio pictured). It is not the cheapest, but a nice treat every once in a while.

A bit crowded place to grab a drink with a view of the zoo. We got a few cocktails and hung out here before our dinner reservation. I'd highly recommend to get here earlier in the afternoon, because there was a huge queue on our way out at around 7pm. The bar is nicely sized, but the demand to sit up here is high. Even if you come early, there's a possibility that you'll be stuck right next to a window with the sun shining on you without much of a breeze.

Stunning view. Perfect for a summer/spring after office or evening date with your partner ir friends! Great drinks and best sweet potato fries. Limited food offer though and not the place to go if you are looking after your wallet ! 💲

Was a fun place to visit, they made an amazing negroni for sure. I couldn’t see any monkeys as it was dark, probably advisable to go in summer for monkeys. Music was cool and the toilets where amazingly clean for a bar! Definitely worth a visit.

Good vibes, nice view, chill music, helpful workers. Did not try the food options, or the alcoholic drinks, but even though was worth visiting. despite the bad reviews the staff was nice with us :)

Such a lovely experience, service was almost as amazing as the view! Watching the sunset or monkey enclosure was great. Cocktails are fairly priced, considering the view/location. Can’t wait to return again!

Great place with an amazing variety of cocktails. Also a cool DJ. But it is quite crowded on a weekend and it is a bit hard to enjoy the atmosphere. It was also hard catch service, mainly because of the number of people...

This place has a wonderful atmosphere. Aswell as the snacks and drinks are good. Probably the best view you will get in Berlin. The staff are really nice. I would highly recommend this place.
