The Murphy's Irish Pub is a huge chain of pubs in many Cities. The vibe here in Berlin was really amazing. There was also living music, which by the way was amazing! The prices are like very normal compared to any other pub. The place is pretty huge, and so it takes a bit of time for the drinks to arrive. It's always better to go to the bar and get the drinks.

Would give it 0 stars if I could! Racist and rude waitress!! Refused to take our order then didn't want to check on our food after 45minutes. Shouted at us to say we could leave if we want to. Of course we did. Shameful. Saw her serve a white couple as we left with so much courtesy. Shame. Absolutely terrible. Do not visit

Great location at Checkpoint Charlie - indoor and outdoor seating available. Our group of four came in for cocktails which usually leads to 3 or 4 rounds. Unfortunately we only stayed for one - I ordered a Bailey's Irish Coffee since it was on the menu - the bartender said "this is a bar not a coffee shop". - wait what ??? It's on the menu and the menu doesn't state no coffee after 2:00 pm. So my friends had their one drink and we left.

The service is ok, beer is great but the kitchen is pretty disappointing. Really slow, Shepard Pie is not seasoned, fries looks dreadful, it’s been a while since cook changed the butter. Great place for drink, not food.

We had the best time here, the food was great, especially considering the price. The atmosphere was fantastic, we came across a very lively group of people at a gig here who lifted everybody off their seats for a good bit of dancing. A night to remember indeed! Definitely coming back when I return to Berlin!

The pub is great, but the food I had was terrible. I made the mistake of ordering a vegetarian shepherd pie, which looked like it just came out from the freezer. The taste was bad, too salty, and not good flavours. It is a shame as the beers and prices are really good, as well as the service team. Would have love to come back as a regular, but the food is not worth it. It is clearly intended for the tourist coming to see Checkpoint Charlie.

Right near Check Point Charlie with great staff and an even better atmosphere. They accept card and cash. Very attentive and they have a pretty good selection of food or drinks whatever you may choose. For the price of the drinks and atmosphere I would definitely come back again. Perfect place to visit if your a solo traveler or looking for a quick place to stop by before starting your night.

Bei unserem letzten Besuch im Dezember 2019 waren wir so begeistert vom Murphy's, dass ich das Lokal ohne Zögern zum besten Pub Deutschlands gekürt hätte. Jetzt im Februar 2024 waren wir allerdings, auch aufgrund der hohen Erwartungen, enttäuscht. Die Bedienung erschien einsilbig und genervt bis überfordert und die zahlreichen Bildschirme zeigten auch auf Nachfrage keine der beworbenen Sportveranstaltungen (Darts oder Europa-League). Sehr schade, hoffentlich war das kein "normaler" Abend.

Awesome service, Dylan, Malena and Steven are completely awesome. 100% recommend. Can take time to help you get your way through Berlin, or recommend great drinks (whiskeys for instance) really listening to what you like.

Really great atmosphere, a cover singer was there and sang American songs, that was a great experience to sing with everyone in the pub. No IPA, but two Ale options are available.

I was there and nobody ask for my vaccination card nor test. The pub was almost full. This was Friday evening late October 2021. Otherwise the pub is okeyish. Prices are a bit expensive, but nice. But I'll not go back, as they are not complying with the 3G law.

Awful service. Ok, I ordered food. They brought it to me. Then me, being extremely hungry, had to stare at it, cause they did not bring me any cutlery. I called a waiter, told him, he answered ok. But then forgot to bring it again. Had to eat my food cold. Did not like neither food, nor service, nor ambience, nor beer. I asked waiter what kind of beer that is, and he, somehow, thought I wanted to order two beers. I said one, he put two nonetheless.

Beer was not well tapped , and food (burgers and fish&chips we ordered ) was just bad quality bread , frozen chips (and not great ones) ... Maybe ok for a beer when is emptier , but not a place to order food

Beer was good but the food was awful. The burgers felt like they were from Macdonald's and the vegeterian schnitzel felt like frozen schnitzel from the supermarkt that was heated in the microwave. Good place to drink but not for eating.

I liked it here. I'm not a big drinker and therefore not a big fan of pubs but the Radler and Currywurst with french fries were flawless in my opinion and the waiters were friendly. The table we had had not too much legroom available for five which was a downside but that also depends a lot on when you arrive, we came at a time the pub was fairly crowded so it was OK after all. Unfortunately, we missed some live music by a few minutes so I assume it might be worth 5 stars if you're into Irish pubs as I think everything here fits your expectations in such a place (The amount of people inside confirm what I wrote I'd say).

The beers are pretty good and the prices are fair given the super touristic location, however, having no vegan options in the menu in a city like Berlin is frustrating. They already have vegetarian Beyond Meat burgers, why not making a vegan option? Since there wasn't anything specified as vegan-friendly, I tried to order simple french fries, but the man who attended me just kept on making so many jokes and picking on me that I just gave up on eating anything and ordered drinks only.

11 of us Visited this Bar yesterday for a quick drink before heading of for a night out. Left the bar 7 hours later after having a brilliant night. Only 2 of us ate there but the general feed back was the food was good. Never had to move to get a drink as the polite and well trained staff where always happy to help us. The act that was playing certainly livened up the bar and helped to create a fun atmosphere

My wife and i visited this pub to watch the rugby world cup quarter final between Ireland and New Zealand. We got there one hour before kick-off. There was a great atmosphere there and a good banter between the Irish and New Zealand supporters. We were lucky to get a seat and had a view of the large screen tv, The seating was not very comfortable so we left after the game was over. The floor service was very slow and could have done with more floor staff, It is not a pub i would go to for a relaxing evening and only suitable for watching sports events.

The food was awful as well as the service, staff acted like they didn't want to be there at all and didn't want to take your order.. Then finally after the order is placed, one of the plates in our small party of 2 is missing, and never arrived. The other plate was the "shrimp burger" and it was easily the worst burger we've ever had. No one apologized for the missing plate and they never came by to our table, had to go to the counter to PAY. No courtesy either for what happened. Would never visit again and would never recommend.
