Worst Berlin door policy. Basic club with unacceptable entry. Doesn’t matter if your friends are inside, if you have a friend’s birthday or anything. Only girls kissing hello to the bouncer get in. As a person who entered Berghain and other great clubs in Berlin, I would definitely not waste time going there.

We tried to go in as a group of well-behaved proffesionals from Switzerland and the answer from of of the bartenders (smoking outside in the moment ) was that he recommended us to not even try. Next thing he approach the bouncer and said the following: "i just got rid of these group of guys trying to come on". Really disappointed that this still happens nowadays... So not recommended at all, just try somewhere else.

Ok, its the ultra racist bar I ever been. I went with my friends white people and I was allowed with out any questions asked. Another week I went with one of my friend we both not white and German, and they say sorry not allowed. The lady at the door thinks she own the bar, horrific personality, the owner should do something or at someday it will be ruined.

Bouncer may have thought he’s security for Merkel, chill out, people are here to spend good money on below average drinks. Please be more considerate, and a smile would be nice. Rude (and deluded) bartender spilt drinks over guests, didn’t apologise nor take responsibility - instead, blamed guests for not leaving their expensive jackets in the cloakroom - I applaud the audacity but very moronic. Also, cocktails were below par and expensive, bartender maybe should spend less time at the gym (and trying to find the tightest tops on earth), and instead practice making basic cocktails.

This is a very odd bar. I would not recommend this bar especially if you are a lady (which I am not). The toilets have been setup in a way so all the locks are broken but with the appearance that this is not deliberate. My girlfriend was in a cubicle when multiple men and a woman claiming to work there forced their way in and demanded to share the cubicle with her. Call the emergency services if you are in danger. There is no security in the unisex bathroom and we suspect that there is some systematic process involved here which the owner is aware of.

Great atmosphere with good music. I visited in a very cold and rainy tuesday evening so it was almost empty. Will definitely visi during a weekend as well. Coctails are a bit overpriced, even though they’re average.

A very nice, fancy looking bar with rather expensive drinks (14 euros Moscow mule) but you are paying for one of the nicest bars in the area (which is also a very nice area). The drinks are however very good and hence you could justify the price tag. There is usually a dj inside (techno / house). Be careful with the bouncer he can be a bit dificult and not let your entire group in (especially later on). Also important to remember to put your jacket in the coat room, they will be very strict.

I've never been somewhere like this before. Firstly and most importantly, they should be shut down for the state of their toilets, it was like a horror movie in there. On top of that, this place has all the red flags for a bad place: Tiny bar, 30minute waits, staff with too much to do, no prices on the menu, card only for over 30Euro orders, aggressive & slimy clientele, overpriced drinks. All that said, music was ace. I guess that's why people keep coming back.

Berlin is a free and proud city. Racism is not accepted. The man with the long hair working at the door should not be working there. Very rude. Doesn’t fit for a place like that in Mitte. Really felt that the stuff is treating women like meat. Extremely disappointed.

Waren gegen 24:00 dort und sind gleich rein gekommen. Die Stimmung im Laden ist ganz gut und auch angenehm, dass der Laden nicht komplett überfüllt ist und man sich bewegen kann (im Vergleich zu anderen Bars in Mitte um die Uhrzeit). Die Getränke sind ganz gut, aber ein Stern Abzug, weil die Bartender langsam und unhöflich sind. Könnten sich definitiv mehr Mühe geben.

I was seated close to bar seemed nice enough, I noticed Cash only sign! I didn't have cash, went to local ATM in convenience store 'ridiculous fees charged next day!' Was eventually seated.. and waited and waited One waitress serving atleast 20 tables no drink for nearly 15 minutes!! Pretentious place, terrible service not to be recommended, it was busy and Saturday evening but get more staff or allow service at bar..

Do not recommended. They charge more than in the list for the soft drinks. Cocktails overpriced. They force you to use the Cloak Room. Some staff try to be nice and compensate but others are just rude.

The bar itself is fine when you go on the weekdays BUT super overrated especially the door policy is unacceptable! There is nothing special about it inside and the bouncers make it worse. Even tough you have friends waiting for you inside, you might not be able to get inside..

Ich habe mich selten so wie ein Mensch zweiter Klasse gefühlt. Man zahlt fast 50€ für 4 Drinks und wird dann unfreundlich und absolut überheblich von Pseudo-Stammgästen und Bedienungen behandelt, weil man an einem „Tisch für Stammgäste“ sitzt. Ich habe es früher hier sehr geliebt, aber bin nun echt traurig.

Never met such unfriendly staff. When ordering, they told me to go just leave although I was just asking nicely for the prices. After that, I was just ignored and the upcoming customers were treated in a similar way: don’t ask any question, otherwise you will be disgusted. What a pitty and inhuman way to communicate! There are much better places to go in Berlin, so I recommend to don’t even bother to ruin your night :)

Horrible. Starting with the drunk door woman with unclear communication, bar packed with rude people making it unable to move around comfortably, music too loud to talk but too quiet to enjoy the tunes, at least 30 min wait for the cloakroom (cloakroom staff being nice but very inefficient - put a price lelist beforehand, so that the people can prepare their cash or make card payments possible), weak overpriced cocktails and a stylish but super dirty bathroom. Music was quite nice later at night and the bartender was nice, but I have very little reasons to come back 😏

Stay away from this place. Way too long waiting time for way too expensive regular drinks. If only that were the worst. We were 2 couples who had been allowed to sit at a table that was reserved from 11:00 p.m. At 9:30 p.m we were thrown out very suddenly by an overly drunk and aggressive doorman. The guest who had reserved the table for 11:00 p.m had obviously arrived before time, and we therefore had to accept being treated like little naughty children. When we pointed out our dissatisfaction we were threatened with a beating - he was also very keen to tell us that he goes to boxing. It must be said that the bartender was very sorry for his behavior, but unfortunately she couldn't do anything about it - she seemed almost afraid of him.

Guys, this bar is extremely xenophobe. When I questioned the doorman why he was refusing to let us in even though we had a reservation "2 couples", he actually stated, "Foreigners are not welcome," while letting three white dudes walked by us. I am slowly noticing and actually astonished to see how the locals in this country still behave like N*ZI, I'm new to Berlin and I'm slowly learning why everyone is struggling with the locals, which is quite terrible bearing in mind the history of this place. I was very excited about Germany before I moved here but I am slowly seeing only its dark side haunting everyone lives here, How awful!

I love it! If you are too sensitive and did not live in Berlin in the 90s then don't go to Odessa and stay in Disneyland. Babies, GO HOME , take a selfie, feel pitty and cry about it. And don't forget to stretch before you go to bed!

I don’t recommend this place. The look at your face to see if they can let you in. The waiter was drunk , and probably on drugs. Was really aggressive to my friend.

DO NOT ORDER AN APEROL SPRITZ...OR A WINE... OR ANYTHING Overrated place with bad service and bad drinks: I came with my friends after a restaurant visit and aimed to order a wine. The waiter did not have a menu and asked us to come to the counter to see on the screen. Fine - after all that might be due to covid. We selected the Grauburgunder and wanted to see the bottle (to check whether it is a dry wine or not). The waiter did not find it and chose Weisser Burgunder instead. We wanted to try it and, after finding out it was terrible, were asking for the rose. Another trial was not possible - fine - but also the bottle was not available. The waiter asked the bartender, potential bar chef or owner, and he was clearly annoyed by the waiter / us and it did not seem to be possible to drink Rose. (Btw we were really nice and friendly, not asking for much). Thus I opted for an Aperol. I did not check the prices (was not visible onlythe screen and no menu available as said) and given the MITTE location and a somehow hip attitude, I expected like 7ish euros for a decent Aperol. The waiter arrived with a water glass full of two ice cubes and a somewhat shot of Aperol spritz. The full table bill - my friends had two cocktails - let me assume that I just got charged for the smallest Aperol 8 Euros!!! I first was puzzled, then decided to ask for the breakdown and got it confirmed. Since I had not seen the menu I asked what the intended size of the Aperol was. The waiter did not know (guessed 0.33l) and asked the bar chef again. He said - clearly annoyed again, 0.1 (clarifies prosecco) then also showed the small glass. After my question whether that is really what they serve for 8 Euros, still in a civilized matter, he turned away and ignored me. Well, I will never come again. Thanks for nothing

Manager doesn't allow the great djs that they hire to turn up the music and play bangers. It's almost always a chill vibe and people sit and talk more rather than dance. Beer is expensive for 0,33L, but the cocktails are average for an average price. The people they attract are usually upper middle class people from a range of 25 - 40 yrs old who have inflated egos and try to show off their wealth. What's saving this bar is really the interior, location, and the really nice staff.

It was a Saturday night. First of all, the atmosphere is cool. The DJ is playing and people can dance or sit if they want. There is enough room to dance and sit. The unique interior design was nice, the toilet is not clean... The problem is that they smoke inside. In fact, there is no oxygen inside, there is cigarette smoke……. The ventilation is very poor.

The door policy is racist. Unless you are a blonde European woman you don’t get in. If you want to create an exclusive Berlin door policy come up with one thing more creative

If they tried as hard as they pretend to be fancy (and hugely fail), this could be a nice bar. Unfortunately it's all paper wrap, simply posh decoration and expensive cocktails but rude bouncers, fake people and wannabe. They force you to put the jackets in the paid coat check even if they're laying on your chair or not occupying space, but oh surprise this does not apply to the friends from people working there (: Btw clearly identifiable "friend-of-the-house" make up almost half the crowd, which brings down the mood to a snobby-wannabe, sadly. This bar is only recommended to sociologists aiming for experimental work.

A chic hipster hell. Classic Mitte location for the young rich and beautiful or those who think they are. Crowded and uncomfortable. The bar has a very small team that can't serve the crowd at peaktimes without long wait. It's pricey and there are better places with less stress...

Man MUSS für 2€ pro Jacke seine Garderobe abgeben. Nicht zu empfehlen, macht einen unfreundlichen Eindruck. Und die Garderoben-Pflicht ist einfach nur dreist.

We were there on a Wednesday night. It was not crowded at all. The staff was nice. Just please note that it’s CASH ONLY. But luckily the ATM is nearby. I ordered Whisky Sour, it was 14€. The taste was not bad. I didn’t have to wait long either. The place was nice. There was a DJ. The shared bathrooms were clean. The only thing I don’t like is people can just smoke inside. So the air was a bit polluted.

Worst club/bar Recommanded by our club soho house and doorman was upset and don’t care about people who are ready to spend money for having great time. Run away this club

Weird Olives... I usually go to Schmitz across the street if I crave a drink. This place is way more fancy, which explains the cost of drinks. I was sitting at the bar and the servers got into some kind of argument that seemed to erupt due to dried candle wax. Music was bueno. Oh also, as a native english-speaker, does anyone else think it's weird you can't order your drinks in german anywhere?

Compared to some of the other experiences that have been shared here, it seems that we got away quite luckily. Came here on a Wednesday night, drinks are good but nothing super special and overpriced. My friend paid 8€ for a small bottle (330ml) of peroni, which wasn’t even listed on the menu. We spent a very long time waiting to be served between drinks, even though there were several staff but only very few customers at the time. Card payments only from 30€ but we weren’t allowed to split our 80€ bill in half either. They don’t seem to be very customer-oriented and try to present something which they’re clearly unable to live up to. In general very pretentious. So glad we didn’t come here on the weekend, it would’ve been terrible.

The cocktails and atmosphere here are great but a few moments clouded our enjoyment of our visit here. Firstly apparently photos are not allowed to be taking although I saw no symbol or sign that this was the case and my photo only included our table with drinks we had paid for. Secondly certain members of our group were held up at the door for unclear reasons by security which we found confusing.

Did a line for hours and couldn't get in. Bouncers are entitled and zero helpful.

Fun place to grab a drink and meet new people and make friends. And Josephine is an awesome hostess, she always remembered our drinks and the orders were served super fast.

Went there in a group of 4, wanted to order cocktails before heading out for dinner, the bar tender told us, we can’t order cocktails and have to wait for another 40 min to order shaked cocktails( which were all of the cocktails we wanted to order) we left and chose a different bar. If you own a bar, you should be prepared when opening to have all the cocktails prepared.

Very cool bar. Chill but a lot of people on fridays and it can get crowded. The cocktails are amazing! Friendly staff

Descent bar to have a fun night and dance a little. It's pretty loud so it's not a place I would go to cozy up and catch up with my friends. Toilets were unisex and some of them are urinals. I wish all of them would be toilets. Just make it usable for everyone and reduce the crowd there.

Some say it's pretentious but cannot see what's wrong with it haha - Typische Berlin vibe, cool music, mirrored maze toilets, cute barmen ... . What happens in Odessa stays in Odessa. Had the best night since many years. Hope to come across a mystery man Maximilian again ;)

The place is absolutely beautiful especially the toilets and the music was great. However they took my money when I ordered a drink at the bar and ad to wait there for 20 min for my cocktail to be made. They didn’t warn me at all that it was going to take so long. I wanted to leave and go to another bar but I couldn’t because I had already paid. Also very expensive.

Good bar with a tough party crowd. After Berlin Mitte became quite lame concerning parties within the last years, on many days probably the best location to party in Mitte.

Wollten lediglich was zu trinken bestellen und haben ein Bild von der Bar gemacht, da kam der zugekifte Chef zu uns und schrie uns an, dass unser Verhalten gar nicht ging - sorry aber wie kann man so abgehoben und arrogant sein? Hab mich noch nie so unwillkommen in einer Bar gefühlt. Abgesehen davon kosten die Drinks über 15€??? Sorry aber einfach eine arrogante, snobistische Bar, die versucht sich elitär darzustellen. Absoluter dreck!
