Lovely spot across from the Charlottenburg Palace. Beer, wine, and warm pretzel. Had the currywurst and second on the sauerkraut! The potatoes were great! Great service!

As an American with little knowledge of German vocabulary, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great selection of beer, quality service, and happy faces everywhere. Next time I'm in Berlin Lemke will be my go to bar!

Massive place that caught me by surprise. Beer selection not too shabby after all and Haxe and Schnitzel well above expectations. OK, the outdoor seating area has a bit of an Autobahn feel to it, despite the castle views. Depicted here are the Perle Helles and the India Pale Ale in the glass and the Spree Coast and the Imperial (triple) IPA in the bottle.

Gerne wieder :)

It’s a tourist trap but in a nicer way. The great variety of beers. I like West Coast lPA very delicious and fit the style. The atmosphere nice and cozy. The bar and furniture is same like old English pub. Service was fast, professional and the staff was friendly. The menu offers several clearly marked vegetarian options and the potato salad is simple and deeply original. Location is very convenient jus next to Palace. Anyhow I liked my visit.

We were a large group of around 30 people. They struggled a lot, and we had to w8 for drinks 30min+. The food was ok, it was bavarian kitchen that day and for a berlin restaurant it was kinda authentic.

I would like to rate this as a tourist trap but I cannot. The beers, even the Westcoast lPA, are delicious and brewed to fit the style. The atmosphere is busy and the arrangement of tables is more American than cozy but the bar and furniture offer a distinctive old-Berlin charm. Service was fast, professional, and friendly (betraying the stereotype of the grumpy, rude bartender in Berlin). The menu offers several clearly marked vegetarian options and the potato salad is simple and deeply original. Have a Weizen Hopfen and be happy.

Excellent beer, very good tasting food, quick and friendly service. Place looks great with old wooden furniture. Would have been 5 star but toilets not well ventilated.

Book the table. We were there at 19:30 and we were lucky to get a place for two. Tasty food. Lots of choices for the beer. Four stars because the presentation is a little bit rustikal. I expected / Wanted more creativity.

Good beer collection and very friendly staff. They speak English and German which is also great. The food is very tasty too. We had the best fries so far here and the flammkuchen was super delicious. They have an option to try the beer options for just 10€. Would totally recommend this place.

The beer is as good as ever, the food is not worth it anymore. "Typical Berlin food" being meatballs with the swabian version of potato salad... Schnitzel was a breaded cutlet that had not been flattened nor did it see any salt or other type of seasoning. The French fries were pretty good though. Go for the beer, eat elsewhere before.

Küche sehr gut.👍 Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Keine lange Wartezeit aufs Essen.

Sehr wohliges Ambiente, sehr sauber.

Schmackhaft, deftig

Great beer and good service. Kellner (waiter) spoke English and German made us feel welcome and we would definitely recommend stopping by when in Charlottenburg.

Very late update for me. This visit was in April 2022, was my girlfriends sisters boyfriends birthday. Food was great and filling, staff were more friendlier then any other restaurant I visited in Berlin. Would really recommend the in house beer. Wanted to do the 10l barrel but it would only be me who whole drinking it, maybe next time !!

How to get a place in this venue. a) Show up without a reservation. Be told in the most rude way that everything is booked (despite plenty of available tables). b) Step out for a minute. Go to open table and book yourself a place. c) Come back, show your reservations and see the hostess get furious. Smile and ask politely for a table, unless she wants the polizei in the place. Enjoy your table!

Excellent food. My friend ordered a meal as well but I believe the waiter misunderstood and we never got the order. Kaiserschmarrn was delicious too! Thank you for letting us stay and chat for hours!

They forgot our food, so we were waiting for 40 minutes, they invited us to the drinks and gave us a pretzel, the staff was nice but the food wasn't worth the waiting or the price. The place was beautiful but very dirty toilets. Good beer.

We had the team event here and ordered a buffet for everyone. I have to say, food was not the best - but I am assuming it is because of the buffet style. Beer on the other hand, was great. Lots of types to choose from - I liked the 030 Pale Ale the best.

Brauhaus Lemke is a place that is one of its own kind. Well technically its not true, since there are more then just One restaurant nowadays but its still a very special brewery/restaurant. Ive visited Lemke since the beginning in 99 and its a restaurant that has given me many fond memories but that also in the last couple of years downgraded on my personal scale. In the beginning, lemke had a big menu with great varieties and no sign of being a restaurant with burgers or other fast food. You came here to eat german rustik food and drink beer. Period. Lemke had a great schweinzhaxxe (porkknuckle) and the portions were astonishing. About five years ago, Lemke changed their appearance and started to sell their own beer brand. Today they have about 12 different sorts of beer and if you visit charlottenburg, then you should definitly try their Beer, since they are fantastic. You can also buy them in bottles and take them home with you. And yes you should, they are that good. But even if the beer is fantastic, Lemkes menu has downsized and today its not as half as good as it was before. Sure, you can still get good food, but i promise you that you can get a better foodexperience in Berlin then this. The porkknuckle is sadly not as good anymore, and hamburgers have found their way into the menu. Even the hamburgers arent made in the restaurant but is dull frozen patty that is squeezed between a bun with some condiments... but it tastes good, so why bother. If you visit Lemke you should visit for the beer. Food is second. A tip is to order a beertasting menu where you can taste five different sorts of beer to enjoy. As a sideorder to that I would recommend the flammenkuchen, a german style pizza, which is really good. If you want german food, then this is not the best place to visit, but if you want great beer, then this is the place for you.

I have been here before. I thought the place was quite good. This is our second time here and we are quite thrilled. If I could give 6 stars I would. The Christmas menus are very good, the service is stellar (thank you for a perfect evening Alessandro) and the prices absolutely ok. The Christmas beer is highly recommended!
