Eins noch, an den denkmalgeschützten Fenstern zieht es doch merklich. Also nicht ganz so dünn anziehen!!!

We spent a week of our holidays in Berlin, found Zur Gerichtslaube on the second night & ended up going back 2 more times. The staff was great to deal with & we did not have any issues even though our only language is English (we did have this problem elsewhere in Berlin). The food was great, enjoyed the rouladin but ended up eating the schnitzel twice. We were seated on the patio all three times, which was quiet & shaded. Go early if you need to eat right away, the resteraunt gets busy, one night we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table but it was worth it. We were able to order drinks & have them at a stand-up table while waiting for a table

Der Speck in den Knödeln und laut meiner Begleitung auch im Rotkraut(-kohl), war schon lecker. Eine Reservierung scheint definitiv empfehlenswert zu sein, da viele Leute ohne gekommen sind und leider wieder abgewiesen worden sind.

The sauce is more of a sweet curry, not particularly spicy hot, but tasty. Opted for chips with ours, which were less good, tasted a bit greasy, maybe because it was late in the day, and there was probably a bit too much mayo & ketchup on top. Think just getting a couple of Currywurst on their own would be a better idea.

It’s been 5 months and I still dream about this starter! Pork schnitzel was also really good, it was so tender and melted in your mouth.
