Great place at a great location. The interior is charming, providing a cozy homestyle atmosphere. Good menu with a balance of meat, fish, and vegetarian options. All dishes we tried were nicely presented and tasty, and the service was friendly. The lemongrass soup with salmon was a discovery for me. I am not sure if it is something traditional, but it definitely deserves special mention. The only minus of the place is CASH ONLY.

When we visited the city my aim was to find a traditional restaurant serving traditional German food.this place nailed that brief exactly. Food for me was my favourite during our visit to the city.

The place is located riverfront, easy to find and surprisingly not busy. The decor makes you feel in a grandma house, full of interesting objects. The service was great and the waiter had good recommendations. The food was amazing, the best German food we had in town. Highly recommend it!

They suggested a house wine which was nice and refreshing. Not a place that is visible unless you are looking for it and we tried it based in reviews other people had left. If you are in the area do try to have a meal here.
