Read good things about this pub and decided to visit with my significant other. It was such a joy! Cozy rustic atmosphere, German cuisine, fine beers and warm inside with a few select tables. It was very delicious and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing meatball with potato salad. Super authentic and super delicious. We totally enjoyed it. Girlfriend only had a cappuccino. Totally didn't get her but whatever. Go there get something basic and enjoy yourself.

Such a great chance to walk in one of oldest bar in Berlin from 500 years ago. Lovely spot and friendly staff. Cold beer and good food

Lovely old pub. Hot weather so sat outside under an Acacia tree and enjoyed semi shade and good beer.

the worst restaurant we were in during our entire stay in Berlin. The food was greasy and salty. the service was unpleasant, at the same time the food was quite expensive, for the fact that it is not a very nice restaurant. The staff does not like guests from abroad and does not like to speak English.

Blinder compared to other restaurants around the TV tower. This small area is beautiful with a church that has lovely chimes. We went in winter so sat inside, it's small, very rustic, and very German (compare to a lot of places we went). I can't recommend it highly enough. It's dark and old! The food... amazing! We shared pork knuckle with the trimmings, fed us well and beer was great. Sure some locals were in there. Service was great. Defo lunch hot spot!

The Snitchzel is good and I love the soup most. You must try it because it’s warm and tasty, hot dish to try here in Berlin’s winter. The restaurant’s the typical and classic Germany bar with dark wooden furnitures. You can share a table with the other customers because they make a big table and there aren’t too much spaces to stay privately. It’s cool and fast service.

Delicious German cuisine in the heart of Nikolaiviertel. The food is not just tasty, but also feels much healthier than most traditional options :) Had a great experience sitting outside and drinking amazing local beer!

Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic beer, but due to the fact that the bar is small and there are many people who want to visit it, you won’t be able to sit for a long time without ordering new dishes or beer. we ordered 2 beers and 2 desserts and after about 40 minutes we were asked to leave. but that’s understandable

Rude and clearly don't need tourist money. Tried to order a soft drink at 10.20pm. Told rudely 'no the bar is closed'. Sat there whilst husband finished drink. Staff then proceeded to serve plenty more drinks to a few locals in the pub. Not impressed, spend your money elsewhere. They could have gotten more money from us and a tip but they got neither. Place was quiet with no atmosphere. Wouldn't reccomend.

A hidden gem! We had a really authentic dinner here. Our food tasted amazing and was very cheap. The schnitzel was the best I tried during our two week trip to Austria and Germany!! The bratwurst was perfect as well and the portion was big. We later shared one apple pie, the slice was big enough for two. Highly recommend:)

Great atmosphere however felt scammed twice. First round of drinks - we were overcharged by €10 then the second round happily took our money but never made the drinks. They decided to serve others and completely forgot we existed. Asked where the drinks were and tried to charge me when already paid. Shame as it was a nice quirky proper german pub.

Definitely the best place in Berlin. The knuckle is magical, the beer is beyond praise. I recommend.

One of the worst restaurant, I have ever visited. The food was incredibly awfull. Schnitzel was like soaked for a week in an oil, Karttofelsalat or whatever was it called was just bunch of mayo and 10 % potatoes. The waitress was very rude and salty as the mashed potatoes, that my friends ordered to their Schnitzels. Weizen beer was ok, no hate towards it.

A great place to sit down and escape from the crowded place of the Museum Insel and Alexanderplatz. Great service and simple though proper German dishes. The area is picturesque as many tourists don't take the time to visit this area. Would recommend!

Had a lovely evening here with my fiancé. The beer is good and the food is alright, but the setting is tremendous, and that’s what sets this place apart. It’s warm and inviting and is steeped in centuries of history. It’s a tiny venue, though, so getting a table might not be easy all the time. I guess call in advance... ?

Wunderbar bar with excellent beer and great home cooked food. Felt like a *real* pub with a good mix of locals and tourists alike. Staff were very friendly and service was very good

Very nice and atmospheric pub with a traditional vibe. They serve some nice beers, including the local ones (including Berliner Weisse). The district is lovely, worth visiting - and this pub is a great place to stop by.

👍 The queue can get really long in a very short amount of time. We were lucky and waited for about 5 minutes before placing our order. The place was fully packed both inside and outside after we picked up our food. We got the original döner but I was unsure about the sauce they used. The sandwich was...
