Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Beer was good but expensive. The problem for us was that the server brought us extra drinks that we didn't order, and then later the wrong drink. They then forced us into a 10% service charge after the fact that isn't mentioned on the menu (at least we couldn't see it). Tourist trap vibes, would probably avoid.

Good beer and food but slow service to start with. The hefeweizen took 15m to arrive and I had to get up and notify the bar. Pretzel also took a long time, server said “its in the oven!” but it arrived cold (Which I dont mind, just don’t say its in the oven) Hopefully it was an uncommon issue and not the establishment.

Tried this place for our first stop in Berlin. Curry sausage and fries with Pils beer is a good start to the trip. Pretzels are a nice addition as well. Service is friendly. Kids menu as well. Indoor/outdoor seating.

Very okay German food. We got the schnitzel, which was really tough. The potato salad was actually not too salty, but not the best. I was really looking forward to their version of mac and cheese (forgive me I forgot the name!), but I've had much better at Christmas Markets in Munich. The atmosphere is casual and the outdoor area is nice on a day with good weather to relax while watching trains.

Stumbled upon this place in the evening and sat down for dinner. Firstly, the beer is legendary, the "oldest" brewery in the world, and it is a great beer. The food was nice and with large portions. The service was great. Prices are quite high though.

I saw great reviews and expected a lot from here. However the menu I ordered was a little bit different from the previous reviews(aproximarely 6 months ago)so I thought maybe it changed? But the people next to me ordered the exact same menu and they got more bread. Yes it’s just one extra piece of bread but I just felt somewhat disappointed that I didn’t get the same menu as the others did. I give a 3 star just because the waitress was sweet. Or else I would have gave a one or a two. Food by itself was okay but I was very disappointed that I was treated differently from others and as a traveler and a customer, that hurts.

Overpriced and bad food! Don’t come here for a meal! We had 5 different dishes and nothing was convincing. The potato salad was not edible. They said we would get sauerkraut, but we got meerretich. The chicken salad was abominable, I can’t believe they served it to me and made me pay for it. The chicken was not freshly prepared, it was cut hours ago and dried out. Very expensive. The staff was not very friendly nor helpful. The beer is good.

Very busy and noisy restaurant. Outside seating available in the heart of Hackesche Market, next to the S-Bahn station. Weihenstephan is worth the trip just for the beer. The full selection of the Weihenstephan brewery is on offer. It is arguably the best beer made in Germany. I ordered the Schweinshaxe - pork knuckle - and it was quite possibly the best I have had. Super juicy with perfectly crispy skin. Take it as served and don’t substitute a baked potato like one of the reviewers did.

Something a bit different from the usual and being in Berlin again was great! The pork knuckle well... I say no more! One of the BEST meals I've ever had! The choice of beers is also excellent and the Weihenstephaner is always an absolute. Nice staff, super friendly and overall a great experience! Not one to forget. Solid A***** for the hospitality.

Tourist trap - food was reheated not cooked fresh. Chicken was very dry and had been cooked several times did not look fresh. Goulash was tough and chewy with very little sauce. Very overpriced for food and drinks. Nice restaurant and good location on the square, also friendly service just a shame about the food quality.

This restaurant had a very good feel and atmosphere, overall! The downstairs area had a more traditional feel but we sat on the ground level which was cosy and nicely decorated for Christmas! The food was very nice and tasty and arrived very fast. All the staff there were very polite and our server kind of looked like Tormund from GoT! Satisfactory portions and AMAZING beer!

Absolutely one of the worst dishes ever had. Absolutely disgusting. Unflavored, dry, uncooked, dry, full of fat served with a ball of plastic mash potato. On top of this the waitress asked for tips. Don't waste your money,go somewhere else or order different dishes

Beer garden. The inside is more atmospheric. Excellent beers and good food. More or less good rates. Central location, regular live music.

the oldest brewery in the world, where you can go and taste their original beer and food which has more than 1000 years of history very good food and beer, and cheap prices. Highly recommended!!

Amazing food i cant write the names of what we had but it was some pork with sauce, the beef dish with sauce and a couple of sausages with mashed potatoes and it came really quick. Michael is the best waiter ;) to have a local experience i believe this is the right place

It’s ok, typical German dishes. In the day time the bottom floor isn’t open which would be more romantic and shows off the vintage style of the place.

The food that we had ordered here was not fresh at all. The sauce which must be smooth was quite solid and was MOLDY like the whole plate. When we talked about this with a waiter, he said that this is the special french cheese, which was obviously not true. A person that tries just a bit of that sauce, had to vomit because of an infection of this mold. So this restaurant doesnt only provide you the moldy food, but also the staff is messing around and you even have to pay for their food and service. Absolutely disgusting and it should be shut down emediately.

Good location. The attendant wasn't very friendly, but he didn't treat us badly. Because of this, grade 4. The beer is fantastic.

Apparently the oldest brewery in the world. Beer is cold and good - the oldest brewery so the beer must be good. Was not very crowded but looking how many tables they have outside and inside it can get very crowded. Good place to sit and watch people passing by

I recently visited Weihenstephaner Berlin with friends and had a fantastic time! The beer selection was impressive and various to choose from. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a traditional Bavarian decor and friendly staff who were happy to recommend beers based on our preferences. The only downside was that the space could get quite crowded, making it difficult to find a seat. You should book in advance. Overall, Weihenstephaner Berlin is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy some great beer with friends in a lively and authentic atmosphere.

Omg the pork knuckle is a massive portion but oh so delicious. Atmosphere was good and our waiter Sasha was very nice.

Well, really great delicious beer, but their main recommended dish for the price 15,90 euro was not delicious. Pork steak was tasty, but potatoes had no taste at all. It’s so strange, how people can spoil just normal potatoes. My recommendation is to come here for a beer and for sausages or meet with fried potatoes. Don’t order this Biersteak (on my pictures). I’m a fan of all kind of potatoes, but this one didn’t taste at all, even with salt, pepper and sause. But the place is nice and touristic, one guy sings always here and plays guitar. So anyway 4 stars. Enjoy!

Delicious food, i really liked it and the person I was with liked it too. The service portion are a little bit expensive but the size is quite big (at least for us).

This was second such outlet we visited within a week. They have ample seating space and some excellent variety of beer. Staff is very helpful. The basement seating gives that traditional rustic environment for beer garden and seating here is recommended.

    Good beer! Good sausage!

This is great for the German beer experience. They have traditional south German food, so it’s heavy stuff altogether washed down with a good beer. Beer variety is good but due to the touristy location a bit pricey. Staff looked after us and we had a nice spot viewing the hustle and bustle of Hackescher Markt.

Traditional Bavarian place, very tasty beers, food was mediocre, male staff should employ the energetic and friendly attitude of the female waitress more, in the evening they could literally light up their front terras a bit to make it more appealing, aside from that nice place to stop by

Had a small plate of sausage and sauerkraut that was excellent. Good selection of Weihenstephaner beers as one would expect. Interiors felt classic. Overall a really good place.

👍 The queue can get really long in a very short amount of time. We were lucky and waited for about 5 minutes before placing our order.
