Very good beer, nice atmosphere. The waiters are very nice, especially Ram. He was always very attentive and we never had to wait to long for new drinks. Definitely recommend. Also Una, Abbie, Agathe were super nice and helpful. Also speak english so very good for international visitors.

Irish pub. Pretty solid and tasty burger and the classic drinks. In the summer you can sit comfortably outside by the canal, but at a later hour the atmosphere inside is also very cozy. Only the staff could sometimes be a little more attentive, but at least they were very friendly. Update October 2023: Sat inside this time, staff friendly and quick. Food was pretty tasty again (good and crispy wings). Sauce for fries was a bit scarce, I think this could have been sorted out with questions, but a bottle of ketchup at the table would also have been practical. Otherwise, gladly again.

Good atmosphere and also very good beer selection. On Thursday evening there was live music here from a great artist. The prices are high, but still reasonable for Berlin Mitte. For dinner I had a baked potato with chili for just under €10. But to be honest, this was nothing special. But first and foremost, you come here for the vibe and the beer.

It might be easy to say this is just another Irish pub until you meet the staff. They are kind, thorough and helpful. We met Sara, Natasha and Sirine last night and they made our first day in Berlin one we will remember. The venue is clean, definitely a good mock up of an Irish bar and in a good location. The beer selection is good and they have every type of liquor you could ask for and while they are fast at service, they don't cut corners on making drinks. Definitely check this bit of Ireland out while on Berlin or on your time off if you live here.

Great food and drinks If you like sweet drinks you should definitively try that Frozen Lillet Wild Berry 🤭 Also the ambience is amazing but the music is less Irish than anything else being played, but I can't tell if it's based on the weekday.

Great time killer on a night wandering the city. Service was great at the bar and with the live music there was a fantastic atmosphere. I sat at the bar and with some patience and reading the rush, the bar staff were amazing. Burger and curly fries a good option. I’ll be back to try more.

My last visit was on a Friday night, it was busy inside and out on the waterfront. Inside there was good live music and some dancing. Prviously, popped in here for a drink midweek early evening. It was quite busy but we found the only free outside table. Waitress was friendly and quickly brought what we ordered. Unfortunately we never saw her again and moved onto the next pub further down the road.

We went here quite early in the day and were the first costumers. The bartenders where very nice and helped us choose our drinks. We felt very comfortable and as a side note, the music was excellent

It's a pretty touristy portion of the city, but I just love the feel of walking in their doors and feeling like you're walking into a pub in Dublin. I've never been and have it not be busy, BUT I've also always found a seat and had great service. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for an Irish pub night or just want to enjoy a relaxed bar feel!

Very nice Irish pub, rustic and cozy furnishings and a few beers to choose from. In the evenings there is live music and also karaoke. If the weather is good you can also sit outside with a view of the Spree. The service was good

When an Irish pub can’t make proper potatoes, it’s time to go someplace else! Slow service, improperly cooked frozen onion rings and a cottage pie that was improperly prepared potatoes on a shadow of meat. Oh! For two people, we were given 1 fork, 1 spoon and 1 knife. First time I’ve ever eaten a Caesar salad with a spoon! Just do yourself a favor - go eat curry wurst at a take away stand. Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him!

Amazing amuser, with amazing music, eye-catching and enjoyable atmosphere, and very good beers. Just you have to know at the weekends it is super crowded.

Guests are ignored and treated condescendingly. Waiting for a beer 30-45 minutes!!! If you see the little waitress When addressed in a friendly manner, she looks past the guest provocatively without reacting ????????? I have never experienced anything like this anywhere in the world. Management should definitely intervene!!!!! By the way, fake drinks are also served in half-full glasses. Only after complaining at the counter did we get the right thing and in the appropriate quantity!

Nice atmosphere and many types of beer on tap. The staff was friendly and quick. We were in the back of the pub and unfortunately it was a bit drafty. Good audience and we also had live music.

This is a very central location with some benches located across the road by the water for outside sitting and dining. The inside is very nice and traditional with a nice homely feeling. The staff are friendly and quick with service. The only disadvantage I would say is that you can’t just order at the bar and then go sit outside, you have to wait until they come to you but still a good experience

The place has live music. A guy with a guitar. He has got a great voice. We went on a Thursday evening and the place was full. The food is good. Try the cheese Nachos. Not too many veg options though.

Great pub with good beer and atmosphere. I would have given 5 stars but as I was leaving, literally walking out the door I was abruptly stopped and asked by someone who works there “Excuse me, did you pay?”. I had of course paid and said “yes, I did”. I didn’t mind the question, it was just the way it was asked, very rude, a bit of a downer after such a pleasant afternoon. Guest experience should extend all the way to curbside in my opinion. Will go back but will make sure I have a receipt next time.

Being Irish we expected a more friendly welcome and service wasn't anything to write home about. Very slow to be served and when we asked for bill the server disappeared not to return. It's a nice pub with nice menu and plenty of place to eat and drink.

Nice place to drop by both in summer and winter. Live music is one of a kind here! Love the crowd every time Ken Deburca plays - absolutely recommended! Lived close by and went to this place frequently for more than a year. Only downsides: touristy area and prices are a bit high. Service varies, but for Berlin standards relatively good. Food is ok but also slightly overpriced. You pay for the central location I guess.

Very nice bar! Fresh Guiness on tap, cool barman and fast service. We were there on a Friday and there was live music. They have both inside and ouside seats - outside is quite cool, as you're sitting by the river.

The waitresses weren't nice and without patience at all. The cocktails were too strong for us, and when we asked for water it took about 30 minutes untill we got them. To sum up, It was expensive and wasn't worth it at all.

Happy vibes, the cocktails were tasty. I especially liked that a waitress came to "rescue" a violin player that was harassed by some drunk guy. Feels like a place that women can feel safe in.

Authentic irish bar in front of the Spree. Quick service, good drinks. Unfortunately it is always crowded and on Friday evening we had to stand in the middle of the bar without any place, next time we will probably reserve the table in advance

  • 5/5 Daniel Z. 4 weeks ago on Google • 67 reviews New
It's a bit difficult to make a reservation there. Reservations are only made by email, but you only receive a confirmation of receipt. If you don't receive a clear reservation confirmation, it's basically like a rejection. A little more communication would be great. So, now for the positive: location great! Atmosphere: great! Offer of Irish beers and whiskey very good! Although only English-speaking, I hope my favorite Indian doesn't adopt this concept🤣, but it fits the atmosphere and most people can do it anyway. Later there was live music, which was great and fit perfectly! Great evening! Oh yes, there is also a little to eat until 10 p.m., Irish stew, some finger food! Delicious!

  • 4/5 Robert W. 2 weeks ago on Google • 49 reviews New
Nice atmosphere and later in the evening there is even live music. Unfortunately it wasn't Irish, but it still created a good atmosphere. Beer was delicious. There's Guinness, Murphy's Red Ale and Stout and the Newcastle Brown Ale. The selection could be a little larger when it comes to Irish beers. However, there is still a wide range of whiskey to choose from. Unfortunately, the service was very annoyed and overwhelmed. It's certainly not their fault, it was the weekend after all, but we had to fight to be allowed to order. Unfortunately the food was a bit mixed. There are a few traditional dishes. The fish and chips had very little fish, but the fries were tasty. The spare ribs were also very tasty and the meat fell off the bones. The shepherds pie was good, but tasted almost exclusively like vegetable broth in terms of spices. The burgers are also recommended. Prices are quite high because it is a tourist area.

Lunch here is an excellent choice. Relaxed atmosphere and really tasty food. We had soup, schnitzel and burgers. Each were tasty and warmed us after sightseeing in the winter cold. Many beers on tap, warm pub atmosphere and good service. A great choice for a relaxed lunch in a warm atmosphere.

Proper Irish pub and music. Fun and easygoing although as expected chaotic and full. Not enough space for a full band but the musician played for a long time and she sang really well and alternated the violin and guitar. Good service

Nice atmosphere. Lively, but relaxed at the same time. Lovely music and singer. Bit annoying how reluctant they were to serve me after 4 pints (plus food there) in 2h30 though. Service needs improving Plus there was no soap in the lad's toilet =(

I visited this pub with some friends to have a casual night and chat a bit. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere and overall vibe of the place. First of all we were very lucky as we found a cranny that was a bit less crowded and felt way more cozy. Perfect to talk without having to shout, but still close enough to the core action of the pub. We ordered some drinks that weren’t even that expensive and spent most of the time throwing jokes. That night there was a guy who performed live music following the requests of the audience, so it was a great opportunity to dance and sing along. He had a lot of energy and kept everyone entertained for a long while. We spent most of our night there and left with big smiles!

Murphy's Irish Bar in Berlin offers a delightful taste of Ireland in the heart of the city. The cozy atmosphere, adorned with authentic Irish decor, sets the stage for a welcoming dining experience. The traditional Irish stew was a standout, bursting with robust flavors and tender lamb. Paired with a perfectly poured pint of Guinness, the meal was a true delight. Live Irish music added to the spirited ambiance, making Murphy's a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Irish experience in Berlin. Sláinte to an unforgettable dining adventure!

The service was really good and it has the Irish pub vibe, with nice live music and a good selection of beers, from their own brewery to the expected Guinness. The Entrecote is delicious and you should order! They accept credit/debit card. It has many tourists and the staff speaks English. Bathroom is very clean ✅. Unfortunately it closes at midnight, not sure if it is due to Corona or it is always like that (to be seen).

Miguel, absolute legend. Buff bartender/waiter was really friendly and just overall great dude. I wanted to stay and wait for him to finish his shift to have beers with him bcz he was such a sick bloke. Nice pub with great service but very warm and with only the one vegan option - curly fries. I enjoyed my time here but my whole group were sweaty and waving menus as fans throughout, and I would have liked some more vegan-friendly food choices.

Nice Irish bar with lots of choices on the menu. The only thing letting this place down is the staff not pouring the Guinness correctly.

You can never go wrong with an Irish pub. Great service and atmosphere. Live music (covers) kept the clientele crooning along. Clean toilets. Great crowd. I recommend for a beer out with a posse of friends.

Thursday night was karaoke night and some of the singers were better than others (as expected!) and it was jam packed but the atmosphere was very jovial and the punters around us were happy to try out their English. Great service, never felt forgotten and didn’t wait long for drinks, even though we were sitting in a far corner.

  • 3/5 Teppo S. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice Guinness, but staff and ordering system was somehow chaotic. First order from bar was not smooth, propably wrong place to order and we end up doing business with four different waiter, but then second order from table was also a bit weird. First comes a guy asking for order and went back to bar and a minute later comes second waiter asking for order with he's tablet device and said we havn't made an order yet. oh well. Guiness was really good. Interior isn't so Irish after all

If you want to experience being in an Irish pub in the middle of Berlin, this place does try alot to imitate it. It's quite pricey but considering the area, not surprising. The food is not exemplary but it's a pub so good enough for finger food. The drinks are pretty good, definitely a visit atleast once!

  • 4/5 Dan P. 1 year ago on Google
Nice Irish Pub with good Drinks and good food. I love to drink the cocktail „Swimming pool“ there, it‘s delicious! The prices are a bit expensive but normal for this area. Karaoke has a very nice atmosphere, people likes to sing and you can experience different styles of music there. Only a pitty that karaoke on Thursdays only until 11 PM is. Unfourtunatly not that long :/ it shoulded be longer

Little bit overpriced but have to take in to account the location. The HIGHLIGHT of the experience was Abigail’s fantastic service and insightful tips for our journey. Very friendly and approachable and a great laugh was had by all.

  • 4/5 Niels N. 1 year ago on Google
Not the best cocktail, if you are not into beer, which this place og course has og it's finish. Great environment to sit. We had live music the day we visit, but honestly, it was not the best. So better with no music.

We had a great time at this pub, our waitress Evie was amazing and she recommended us to try a car bomb shot which we had never heard about before. She was very funny and friendly and elevated our night. The live music by Ken was great as well! I would recommend this pub to anyone visiting Berlin!
